[Sky Sports] Manchester United are exploring a potential move for Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall

Work has begun to understand how much a deal for the 21-year-old would cost as United assess the options available on the market at left-back.
Hall, who has three years left on his current contract, would not come cheap and Newcastle do not want to sell.

United are considering which positions they should prioritise before the end of the transfer window - including the potential of a third midfielder and an additional forward.

Sky Sports News has been reporting since March that Hall was among the names being considered by United for a summer move as they search for a long-term successor to Luke Shaw, who has one year left on his contract.

United are currently going into the new season with Shaw as their only senior option at left-back following Tyrell Malacia’s departure on a free transfer.
