New to the Saturn scene and I was looking into the 3D controller for the Saturn. Is there any reasonably priced, aftermarket controllers that offer the 3D capabilities? The controller that use for games like NiGHTS.
And if not, are the official ones really worth the price?
So the title says it’s all. I just bought my first Saturn. It has a Fenrir Duo + a Saturn Memory Cart in it, but it dosnt come with a controller or cords.
The main question I have is what kinda AV cord should I get? I don’t have the ability to use SCART, and theres a few options out there. Ive seen one that goes to component, composite and directly to HDMI. I’d prefer HDMI or Component but im not sure if thats recommended.
Also, am I able to load AR onto the memory cart, or do I need to get one separately?
So I found a set of used cymbals for about $220 (thats with shipping) and I was just wondering if it was worth it? Like does it really add to the game?

Title pretty much says it all. I recently came back to MW5 about two weeks ago. Played the latest Xpac with Vanilla and decided I was ready to get back to the YAML mods and such. Played for like a week, everything is running smoothly, Ultra settings (recommended by the game) no raytracing or anything. This past Sunday, my computer has just started randomly shutting off completely in the middle of a mission.
I thought maybe it was a few mods that I added, I turned them off and still the issue persists. Ive dropped all graphical settings down to medium, still the same problem. I ran the computer for 4 hours last night watching tv and played some FC Blood Dragon, no problem.
My computer dosnt seem hot, and 2 different friends have said that my temps are little high but that shouldnt cause the shut off. My graphics driver is up to date. I can feel air moving through my power supply and it seems like all my fans are spinning. Im completely stumped.
Could any of these mods cause this issue? I pretty much have always run the same ones.

GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12GB)

So im about to buy a GDEMU, got pretty much everything I need (still on the fence about if I need a ThunderPSU) and I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a video cord. Im some what on budget, I don’t really wanna spend more than like $50-$60.
I have a VA01, and the screen im connecting to has a HDMI input. Ive seen people recommend the Kaico adapter but then others say it’s trash. I don’t have the money for a RetroTink right now, even though from my understanding it’s the best solution.

So I dug my PSX outta of storage recently and I think the laser went bad. I took it apart and cleaned/greased the gears and rails. Still no luck. I know the laser is at least lifting and it plays music CD’s. My back ups work just fine on my modded PS3 so I don’t think it’s that. Does anyone have any recommendations to buy a replacement?
It’s a KSM-440AEM for a 9001 model. I seen a few places but id rather go somewhere recommended. Tempted to just buy another system, I think a 7501 is the same as the 9001, just with the serial port intact. Seen a few working ones for like $50
Hi everyone, im new here and new to the PS1 scene. I was doing some reading today, and I discovered I have everything I need to be able to play “imports” on my ps1. I have:
Fat, Grey, PSX SPCH-9001
A SD2PSX Gen2 memory card by Kaico (bought for my PS2)
TonyHax International download from the official Repo.
For the life of me I can’t find a guide anywhere explaining how to set it up on my card. I see that it has Unirom on it, but read that TonyHax works better. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? I’d really appreciate your time if possible.

Title says it all. I see so many different things on OPL codes, like converting etc. I cant seem to find a straight answer. All the codes I find are for Widescreen support, which is cool but the original ratio dosnt bother me. I looking for real AR/GameShark codes lol
So I recently started messing around with soft modding my fat ps2. Got it all set up, even got an __.POPS partition going (still havnt figured out multidisc ps1 games) and I wanna add cover art. The problem is OPLManager starts hitting me with errors whenever I try to load/refresh game cache. Im connecting directly to my PC’s motherboard through a sata cable (had problems with using a SATA -> USB adapter)
I load my PS2 games with HDLBatch installer, PS1 I use a separate program.
Is there any alternatives anyone could recommend? Im using the latest build of OPL, not the anniversary.
I took a picture of the errors I get when mounting the HDD but it came out looking like ass.
So I recently dug out my fat PS2. Bought a OPL sata drive loaded with games. Decided to buy $30 ONN RCA > HDMI adapter hoping the picture quality would be better. Unfortunately, it’s not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Im not trying to break the bank, money is a little tight right now.
I thought about getting the Electron Sheppard adapter. I have the one for the OG Xbox and it looks beautiful. Has anyone tried it?
