Sister sent me a "petite hack: wear cropped jackets" tiktok and I'm 5'2, every jacket is already cropped on me

Sister texted me a tiktok this morning with the caption "this changed my life as a petite!!!" The hack: wear cropped jackets to elongate your legs. The creator is 5'7.

I'm 5'2. Every jacket I have ever bought is already cropped on me. The "regular" length blazers hit me at the upper thigh. The "cropped" ones from the same brands hit me at the actual waist. The OVERSIZED ones are normal length on me.

I love my sister and I cannot bring myself to explain the geometry of this to her again...

Have four black athleta hoodies and four pairs of gray joggers and that's my entire wardrobe now

I'm not asking for help. I'm just saying it.

Four black hoodies, all the same one, all from athleta, bought across three years. Four pairs of gray joggers, two from old navy and two from the same athleta line. One pair of slip-on sneakers. One denim jacket I wear when we go to my in-laws so they don't worry.

Two kids under 5. Working from home part-time on top. Wake up at 6:10, kid up at 6:18, my "morning routine" is whatever clothes are closest to the bed.

I think about getting dressed dressed maybe once a month and then I look at the kids and the laundry and the snack situation and put the hoodie back on. The hoodies don't make me sad. They're soft. They're warm. I just realized this week that the soft warm thing has been the entire wardrobe for almost two years and I had not noticed because the days bleed.

The other thing is, when I do try a "real" outfit I have nothing to put it with anymore. My jeans don't fit. The blouses are too dressy for any room I actually enter. There's no in-between in this closet and there's no in-between in my life right now either.

I am genuinely not asking for help. The hoodie is fine. I'm just describing it.

Weekly check-in - how is everyone doing this week?

Hey everyone! trying to make this a weekly thing so we can actually track how people are progressing over time and also so people who are new to GLP-1s and considering Foundayo can see real experiences from real people and not just clinical trial numbers.

Drop your update below, whatever you're comfortable sharing:

  • How long have you been on Foundayo?
  • First GLP-1 or coming from something else like: Zepbound, Wegovy, Mounjaro, compounded?
  • Any stats you want to share: current dose, current weight, goal weight, whatever feels right
  • What went well this week - could be the scale, could be something totally unrelated to numbers?
  • Anything that was hard or didn't go as expected
  • And anything else on your mind - questions, observations, weird food experiences, all of it welcome

The more people share the more useful this becomes for everyone just starting out, thanks!!

I bought a really good blazer eighteen months ago and I've never worn it

34f, two kids, WFH three days a week.

The blazer is objectively good. I've tried it on at least fifteen times. Right colour, correct shoulders, I feel like an actual person. And every time I try it on, I put it back. "I'm saving it for when I need to look good."

That moment apparently never comes. Or I keep deciding that whatever I'm going to isn't quite worthy. Meanwhile I wear the four rotating cardigans to absolutely everything and the blazer hangs there.

My mother used to do this the good china, the nice perfume, the expensive candles. I told myself I would never become that person.

I'm saving the blazer.

Give Legacy sperm freezing costs - worth it?

Our clinic quoted us around $600 per sample per year for sperm freezing, and honestly that just doesn’t feel sustainable long term. I keep seeing people mention Legacy as a cheaper alternative since their sperm freezing costs seem way lower than most clinics but I’m curious if it’s actually worth it. Has anyone actually used them? A few things I'm curious about:

  • Are the sperm freezing costs actually much cheaper compared to traditional fertility clinics?
  • Does insurance cover any part of it?
  • Is the whole mail-in process reliable/safe?
  • How long did the process take from ordering to storage confirmation?
  • How is the customer support, shipping or sample quality?

Any honest experiences welcome. Thanks 🙏

ok this is funny and also not funny.

I've been seeing this guy for about 5 weeks. Last night was the third date. We were getting drinks before dinner and he said, very nicely, "is the chambray shirt your dating uniform? I think I've seen it on all three dates." He was teasing, he was warm about it, it was completely fine.

Reader he was correct. I have worn dark jeans and the same chambray shirt on all three dates. Once with a different necklace, once with a blazer over it, once just the shirt. I genuinely had not realized I was doing it until he said it.

The reason I'm doing it is that I tried on 11 different combinations before the first date, that one made me feel the least like I was performing, and I have been afraid to deviate since. It's the only outfit I trust right now. Forty-four years old and I am rationing one shirt for the entire person I am trying to be in this new chapter of my life.

He laughed and we kept going. Fourth date is next week. I refuse to wear the chambray shirt to the fourth date, and I also have absolutely no idea what I'm putting on instead. How does anyone do this from scratch when you've been out of the dating market for a decade and you don't trust any of your other clothes to be "you"?

Starting today and genuinely excited, been on this journey for a while did Zepbound, then Wegovy, been off everything for about two months now. Maintained really well which honestly surprised me but I still have more to go and I'm not done yet.

When Foundayo launched it just felt like the right time to try something new instead of going back to what i already knew.

Since there are no injection nor fasting rules, involved just a pill whenever I want, after everything I've been through that alone feels like a win

Anyone else here come from both before landing on Foundayo?
