How would you tackle this situation?

I am overseas with my wife and she is pregnant with our first child. Upon dealing with problems and uncertainty with what's going on here, we both came to the conclusion that it is best for her to go home to give birth that way at least there is no risl of being stuck in a country where she is not too familiar with or not know many people. I will go home for the birth, but then my wife will be home alone and will shoulder all the burden with raising a baby. Without going into too much detail, we will be getting an apartment so that she is far from family drama, I know it kinda sounds contradicting to what I said, but at least there is some sort of safety being back in her country.

I want to quit my job to stay with her and help her out, but I also do not want to stress with any financial problems as shit can happen and need the money.

As our first child (girl), I know she will only be a baby once, she will walk her first steps once, she will speak her first word once and miss alot of unforgettable moments, but I am willing to sacrifice those so they can have a happy and well off life. My wife says that I do not need to provide alot and my precense is more important than the money, but I do not want to see them struggle. From my savings, we can live a comfortable life for several years, but I do not want to stress about it later on

Dads, what would your advice be? As a first time dad, I do not want to miss moments with my daughter, but I also do not want them to struggle.

Are pets allowed to go through the airport?

I heard some rumors that pets are not allowed through T4? I was planning on flying with Emirates with a cat. I check Emirates website and as long as there is paperwork it is not an issue.

How does citizenship status for child work if the father is not a resident?

Hello all,

I am wondering what would happen to the baby if born when the father is not resident? What if the father lost his job and got sent home and could not find a job placement in Kuwait, but comes back on a tourist visa for the birth? I understand if the mom and dad have a different nationality, the baby will get the dad's nationality.

Algae/Mold on the Washing Machine water filter

How harmful is this green mold/algae thing? We got this filter about 3 months ago and it looks like it only grew on the part where exposed to sunlight. Not sure if it does get through the washer, then the temperature on the drier might kill this stuff?

FH6 Crashes On Loading Screen

Is anyone having an issue where the game crashes after the "XBOX" screen? It just turns black and after about 5 seconds the game just closes. When I first installed the game, it actually get to the "Press Enter" to continue but it asked me to update my driver first before it was incompatible. The issue started after I updated my driver. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game and verified file integrity on Steam. I can play other games without issue (war thunder, ride 6 and other graphics demanding games)

Anyone has a fix?

Thanks

2016 WRX Coolant Leak

Noticed the gauge went through the roof, then I saw white smoke coming out the hood. Coolant was everwhere and there is a puddle of it on my engine. Where would the leakage be? The radiator hose is intact and no leak out of it. Tried to look through all the pipes and hoses but kinda hard to tell with all the coolant and all. It shouldn't be a headgasket issue would it?

I received a notification from the VA stating they made a "clear and unmistakable errors" regarding my rating.

I made my initial claim in nov 2023 for my back. Was denied, then I filed for supplemental. Got denied again, then I requested for a higher level review. It was approved mar 2026 with a 50% rating. Then yesterday, they are saying that I should have been at 10% in nov 2023, and at 50% sep 2024 due to medical evidence they reviewed. I received quite a chunk of backpay and now it sounds like I have to pay them back the difference from nov 2023 and sep 2024. What can I do in this situation?

Guys, my wife and I are expecting our first child (girl) in a few months!

What are some of the best advice you can provide me from taking the wife to the delivery room, after delivery, the first 3 mos, the first year, up until adult years.

What are some "I wish I had/hadn't done this" moments

What are your best moments with your daughter.

Thank you awesome dads!
