I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship and I don't know how to get out of it.

I am 25(F) in a relationship with my 31 (M) for the last 5 years. For the last year I have been feeling that this relationship is just downright toxic with the things that he expects from me.

  1. He wants me to abandon all my support systems and be fully emotionally dependent on him for all kinds of needs, I should have no close friends and abandon my parents or any kind of acquaintances for anything at all.- felt like a huge red flag, my head sounded like a ambulance siren when he said this.

  2. He wants me to tell him what I do with my money that I earned by working a job. - he actually wants me to ask permission but is too nice so he masks it and says please keep me informed so i could save you from spending on unnecessary things.

  3. Doesn't want me helping my parents financially when I could- again ambulance sirens.

  4. Constantly accuses me of having an affair with someone in my workplace or online because I am withdrawn from the relationship.

  5. He asks me to dress a certain way and not show skin or wear fitted dresses because that's not what good women do. I started dressing baggy and purchasing dresses a size bigger because he keeps instigating fights about this.

  6. In the name of being blunt ruins special moments or holidays by commenting on my dress ory body.

  7. Wants me to abandon my career and pursue something futile.

  8. Wants to get married to prove my loyalty

He did not behave like this in the beginning. It happened slowly like a creeper plant creeping on a wall. Compromise is a part of a relationship and any marriage but it feels like I am the only person changing anything for this relationship and all these signs happened in the past year and I have been not at ease ever since I started seeing this pattern.I don't know how to get out of this.

Edit: Also I have gained a lot of weight and I am struggling to lose it and all of this has triggered my Binge Eating Disorder

I wanted to help my bf and told a white lie for it, now I am in HELL

So long story short, My Boyfriend needed some money about 11 months back and I helped him, now he constantly speaks to me as if its a huge mistake and that I cannot be trusted. My parents are business people, since they can't store all the money in one account and sometimes they pay different vendors at the same time, so they use my account to do that from time to time.I had a huge sum of money in my account and my parents told me to keep the money in my account and they said they will notify me when they needed it and I should transfer it to the account that they say. My boyfriend needed some money around the same time and he constantly kept talking about it, I had this great idea that I can lend him the money and inform my parents that I am lending it to a friend and will pay ut back later. They agreed as it was a small chunk compared to the total sum. But my boyfriend was reluctant and said he wouldn't take it, so I said a little white lie that it was from a friend of mine and he can pay it back when he could. He kept investigating me as if I acquired the money illegally. I kept reassuring that it was of legal means and I transferred the amount and he asked for the receipt of where it came from, this is when I got frustrated and yelled, "what is it with you and trust? I am obviously not gonna do something that's gonna harm you!" And then I said in the same breath that it was my parents'money and I said a lie as he was being difficult when I offered him directly. He called me all sorts of names for two whole days and even after 10 months he still says that he can't trust me as I lied for this I would lie for all sorts of things too and will resort to anything to get money and that I am a money minded, characterless person who only thinks about myself.

I agree that I shouldn't have lied. But he's been using this as an excuse to call me names and treat me shitty and use this as an argument point like bringing this mistake to shut me up when we argue. The spark in me died the day all this happened and I have been losing the love little by little inside and he does not want to take accountability for anything he does as he treats this incident as some kind of pass to do whatever he wants and talk whatever he wants.

I am constantly crying when he speaks as he speaks very harshly and it has affected me mentally and I have gained a lot of weight, I don't know why.

I don't know what to do and how to get out of this. I tried to speak and reason with him to smooth things out but he is not down and thinks he has the upper hand forever'. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Thank you. And comment if you have any thoughts on this.

Hi,

said in the title, lately I have been feeling lost and without a purpose in life.

My relationship that I regarded as the greatest thing in my life turned verbally abusive and its been very hard to navigate emotionally and I am literally and emotionally trapped in this. Should i get out of this or is it just the bad timing playing tricks on me?

The career aspect is quite con fusing too, I wanted to do UPSC but my parents health and financial situation made that impossible at that time, so now it feels like a distant dream.

I wanted to pursue a career in finance so took a basic paying job and currently earning okay but I cant stop at this point. I want to learn, grow, travel and achieve something in my life. But currently everything seems lost and life feels like a battle field.

So provide me any insights you can, i am fed up with my life. Please.

Thank you in advance.

I want to remove someone from my life

Hi guys,

Tw: verbal and emotional abuse

I am new to witchy stuff and i want to remove this person and his energy from my life. I am in a relationship of 5 years which has turned into my absolute nightmare. He became very abusive and controlling as the years went on. He wouldn't let me take opportunities that came my way for my career and he shames me for seeking out friends and he calls me a slut whenever he is mad or angry about anything else. I have tried to leave but he is blackmailing me that he would destroy my life and tell whatever he wants to my parents. So i am kinda scared about this and I don't want this energy in my life. I still have love for him in my heart but I don't think i can travel this path with him and spend our life together. He is not good for me . I want to take him out of my life and go on his way. I don't want to harm him and I want him to have a nice life on his own. I just want to leave this situation. Are there any rituals i could do to achieve this?

Please help me guys.

Financial problems in relationship

My boyfriend(31) and I(25) have been in a relationship for around 5 years now. There were a lot of external issues in our relationship from the start, he didn't have a stable career at first and had a lot of debt, but I stood by everything and we kind of made it through, now that he is in his 30s his family is pressuring him to get married and we are still not debt free, I am not saying everything has to be sorted out now, but atleast we ourselves should be debt free or should atleast pay half of it before getting into a marriage as things could get only worse from here on out. The wedding is going to be self financed and it's going to be a loan, if that is the only loan we could manage somehow, but it's not. Now the issue is, he is urging me to get married and have kids, but I am really scared to get married with all this weighing down. I feel like i would never see the shore if I got married with this much debt. When i say this to my boyfriend, he says that I ruined his life. I am also just starting out in my career i have a basic salary and I am managing but I don't think a huge debt would be good for anything.

Am i crossing a line here? I am kind of freaking out over this.
