Out of all the Gijinka I have made for set 2 which is your favorite?

This was a lot of fun, and I think it turned out even better than the first batch I did a few months ago. That being said, I definitely should’ve taken more breaks because I got pretty exhausted and stressed at certain points. Finishing this has made me realize I need to take a big break from the project probably until sometime next month. I’m still really happy with most of the designs, even if some like Tree could’ve had stronger concepts. My favorites are definitely Spruce Tree, Match, Money, and Stapy. Now that this is finally finished, I can move on to Tboi x Bfdi which hopefully will be a lot more relaxed and won’t burn me out nearly as much.

Bell Gijinka

Bell was honestly pretty simple to figure out. A lot of Bell designs either attach her to a body or give her copper like replacement limbs, so I wanted to go in a different direction and keep her as an actual bell with no arms or legs. I still liked the copper idea, though, so I used it to give her a more human, Tin Man like appearance and mixed that with a circus band member aesthetic. Originally, I wanted speakers to be a much bigger part of the design, but they always looked awkward visually, so I eventually dropped them and kept the design simpler.

Stapy Gijinka

With Stapy, I wanted him to act as a contrast to Foldy. While she has a very slick and thin build, he’s much wider and more muscular, which I thought was a fun way to play off their dynamic. I also gave him a peg leg instead of the crutches people usually give him, since those would clash with the strongman concept. His mechanical arm was a gift, while getting a matching leg would simply be too expensive. And honestly the more I look at him, the more he looks like the Pringles guy and the Monopoly Man somehow had a child, which only makes me love the design more.

Foldy Gijinka

Before I landed on the acrobat idea, I originally considered giving Foldy a rubberhose inspired design like Money, but with more of a Paper Mario influence. I decided against it because I wanted Money to be the one unique exception among the group. Making Foldy an acrobat felt much more fitting anyway, especially since her ability to fly and glide naturally translates into an aerial circus performer.
