Looking for commited players (no exp req) to play Endgame content, Raids (especially VoG) [18+]

Im looking for players to build a long term endgame/raiding community (no experience needed), looking for:

- fresh players that wanna hop directly into endgame and learn raids (Ill teach you everything),
- returning players with the goal of having fun in raids, getting some gear along the way and gridning endgame
- cassual players that wanna "level up" and hop into raiding scene, featuring trio flawless raids, etc.
- already experienced raiders that wanna do more advanced lowmans, and do some speedruns

Activities:
- Seals/triumphs grind
- Lowman Raids (our favourite activity)
- Solo raids teaching
- Lowman Raids speedruns - for thus more experienced
- Dungeon/Raids speedruns - super easy and "freshly out of EDZ" friendly; fastest loot farms also
- exotic missions speedruns - just for the sake of fun and diversity of content

Me or my friends can teach most of it, but you gotta be comitted. It may seem we tryhard and all that, but we just chilling for most of the time, its like a routine for us and can be a standard for you in the future. We can assure good enviorment for your improvement.

Community is mostly VoG themed, this is place where it all began. We are also building 500 pages doc with everything about VoG, although its not published yet, and wont be till september.

How to run the game on potato

As far as I experienced, game is not really optimized to work on mid gaming set ups.

My PC:

- RTX 2060 Super

- 16 GB RAM DDR5

- Ryzen 5 2400G

Game has launch error but is still playable. I do have 70fps mid - high settings in sewers but when I actually leave them, fps drops to 28, and game lags every load section while travelling. I changed resolution to 720p and all to potato settings, but the game still lags on new enviorment loads while riding a horse etc. And everything ofc looks terrible.

Any ideas what can be done or should i just give up? I bought the game on launch and didnt play it since then because its unplayable on my spec it seems like.

live service games / online games legacy

Hey, I dont know where I should have post it, but I think this community might be on point.

Ive been playing on multiple platforms in the past, but as I got older i swapped to PC. I mostly use steam, and play online games with friends.

My favourite one is a destiny 2, and as its live service has been discontinued im overall worried about the legacy of it, and how this will impact the future of the game. As the game is build on server based assets, and it requires not only connection to play but to even load anything, im deeply concerned what if the servers gets shut down. There wont be anything to it besides memories or videos.

As I ussualy play one game for a long time, and I really like going back to it and continue playing, I do have this dillema how to percieve online gaming in this era. This is a fresh topic recently, because live service games, with open worlds, are geniuly fresh on the market, and we see them more frequiently right now at the end of their cycle closing.

Same situation as Destiny 2 is with Sea of Thieves, the game wont work offline, and servers off = cant play IF ever they shut down without adding any changes to how it can be played. And literally those games could be playable even after a shuttown if players could make private servers, or even offline/LAN could be introduced.

I wanna ask how you percieve online gaming, coping with that potential loss of the progress/access as I can describe it, and how would you actualy choose the games wisely to not fall into that trap?

I do enjoy playing minecraft with my friends, or even Heroes 3 priv servers, or Titanfall 2 northstrar client back in the day. And theese games are eternal and I feel like I can always take a loong breake and still come back to it, or the games are moddable enough to make the access possible.

P.S.

Also I gotta mention that I really do like how my dad handles gaming. He play the games from his childhood, on zxspectrum, c64, or even ps1, nfs porshe etc, emulators. He can come back to the games he played 30 years ago, make progress, save progress and not only rely on memories and have a feeling of that loss. I really would love to do the same thing, but as I do like online games, I think its impossible to do so. Bit off topic tho.

Unforgiven smg lore vs current D2 state.

Unforgiven smg lore hits different after last game update announcement. Bungo gave us D2 it has been all the time with us, and now, although its not gone it slowly fades away into the rememberance. Some of us literally grew up playing the game, that ha been literally abandoned on a random thursday. The devs also didnt know the sany plans, this are the rumors. If they literally didnt know it we can understand this, but to whom decided about end of support, it will be unforgiven.

"I was a child when my father gave the war beast to me. Milos, I named him. Young, like I was, wide-eyed and just as unable to see what was in front of him.

My father had always been absent—the demands of the throne saw to that—but he had never been unkind, and so I chose to forgive him. Back then, he showed me affection by proxy and spared no expense in securing the best tutors and caretakers to watch over me. He lavished me with extravagant gifts. Milos was the one I appreciated the most.

Milos and I were nearly inseparable, and I would spend every possible moment with him, awake or asleep. I trained him. I fed him from my own plate. Even now, when I close my eyes, I can feel him curled up on top of my chest, his head buried in his paws, his lungs swelling with every breath as he slumbers and dreams.

Is it any wonder I grew to love him more than I did my father? Milos was my constant, loyal companion.

Until the day I returned from my studies to my room, and he was gone.

A servant handed me a gilded letter, penned by my father, explaining why he had Milos killed. I tore it to shreds, tears streaming down my face.

When I looked up, I saw the servant weeping, too, and I knew that she had been the one forced to do the deed. I took her hands in mine and said, "I forgive you."

Words that I swore Calus would never hear from me again."

Borderlands 4 content and replayability

Hey, im pretty new here just wanna ask few questions about borderlands 4.

Lets me start with this, my friend bought me borderlands 2 for my birthday recently, and honestly its super fun. Its like an open world kinda, with sidequests and capagn. I havent finished it yet so i dont know what the endgame is there.

Here is the question, since the series seems really cool, im looking for something in that universe with some multiplayer/replayable content like raids or dungeons with some maybe mechanics if there is something like that. I want to buy borderlands 4 cuz i heard its super fun.

I come from destiny 2 universe where we have plenty of replayability in the endgame content plus multiplayer activities with some cool co op mechanics (ive spent 1700h doing them). Of course im not looking for something identical but i heard there is some immersive content like that, and i could grind, and enjoy the activities further even after few completions and have fun with friends?

I prolly sound like a fool already saying it lol, but i never found out the answer, i watched some endgame bosses videos, but without the knowledge about the game its hard to tell what is it.

OG arenas movement clip, and why it was actualy a good game mode.

I would love to see Arenas as constant game mode in the future.

Ranked mode experience and MMR reward system wasn't that good, but overall gamemode was great as practise tool/chill gaming session or sometimes even tryhard mode and buildling team synergy. Isolated 3v3 is much better than mixtape playlist, and overall it had more meaning. I feel like people could practise a lot, eliminate stress of loss compared to actual win or die br gamemode. As you can see in the video I could practise movement in actual fights, and get rid of pressure because it is isolated gamemode and there is still another round to do so. I am not that good in actual br game, but muscle memory i build by practising arenas gave me more gamesense. Also the only substitute to this is firing range with friends but ohnestly, its not as immersive as arenas were.

Knockdownshield ranked clutch I did 4 years ago

When cleaning up disc space I found this old clip of mine from back when I was grinding ranks like crazy. At the time I thought i lost it somewhere but I found it few years later. Pretty crazy stuff, brings back good memories :)

I think it could be season 9 - 12? Valk was released in s9, and i think this map was back when Fuse had been added to the game, any ideas?

Who needs enemies when you have your own sparrow?

Happened to me on a solo flawless VoG attempt lol. Glad it was just at the entrance, not mid raid. Slipstreaming can be dangerous. Pretty funny clip tho :)
