Does Praxis actually scale your scores?

So I’ve always seen that when you take your praxis tests, your raw points don’t actually equal your final score, so like if there were 80 questions and you got 35 right, which is normally 43%, you wouldn’t actually get a 143, and your raw points would be converted to your real score. But I’ve taken all 4 of the content tests in the 7001 test and my final score is always just percentage I got right plus 100, so does praxis actually scale scores or is it only on certain tests?

Is the Synod of Strategic Prophesy not a New Antioch subfaction?

I’ve always thought they would be, but I saw some shorts talking about how they’re going to be their own entire faction, but why?

I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever felt more hatred for something more than I do Grey Prince Zote in pantheon 3.

It’s just such bullcrap fight. No telegraphs, his wave attacks cover the entire arena, he’s constantly doing something with no breathing room. I hate it so much. Like it’s gotten to where whenever I try to fight pantheon 3 I feel so angry yet so numb whenever I die to him. I’ve been stuck on this pantheon for 3 weeks. It’s like I can beat him just fine in godhome but the moment I step into the fight in p3, it’s over. I hate this boss with such a genuine anger.

Short story I wrote because I’m bored at work

Title:Hold the Line

“Hold the line”

That was the last thing I heard before my ears started ringing. Ever since then I’ve only been able to feel the booms of artillery hitting both sides. I can feel the vibrations starting at the ground and moving up into my chest. My gun continuously jamming into my shoulder from its fire, only stopping to add more bullets to the chamber. For the past hour there’s been horde after horde of those wretched demons. For every one you kill three more take its place. I don’t even know how long we’ve been in no man’s land. My father used to say “just 12 hours in the Levant is enough to make a man a veteran”.

“Hold the line”

Finally, the horde breaks. From within the mound of bodies a single creature rises. 6 arms, guts spilling out from where its stomach should be. My ears stop ringing long enough for me to hear it speaking words so vile and wicked I don’t believe they could even be replicated through the human tongue. It floats above the ground with the same ease of a fish swimming through the water. In one of its infernal hands it generates a searing ball of flames, which it then hurls into our side of the field. I watch as it lands between some of our men, burning them all to ash instantly. I look for my commanding officer, but the only ones I see are the dead.

“Hold the line”

How was I supposed to do that against this? This… abomination. I think back to the briefing we were given before this mission, the words of the priest who sent us into this wretched hellscape
“New Antioch. It is the Home of All Our Hopes, the bulwark against Heretic forces and the first line of defence against the devil's might. The last standing bastion of the church. Should the city fall, so too will humanity. Defend it”
I slowly stand. And I begin to pray

“Our father, who art in Heaven. Hallowed be thy name”

I begin to walk. Then sprint. Then run towards the demon. I vaguely hear the shouts of the men behind me. I feel the grazing of infernal bullets against my skin.

“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. On earth , as it is in heaven”

I think to my family. My father, who died serving the church only 3 years ago. My mother, who cried tears of both sadness and joy when I told them of my deployment.

“Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.”

I reach the front line of the demonic forces. I begin to gun down each and every single one that I see. I continue running.

“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”

I finally reach the wretched sorcerer. Its cries tell me of each and every sin ever committed by the serpents court. It tells me of the riches I could gain, the feasts I could gorge upon, the pleasure I could have. I ignore them.

“For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and ever. Amen”

The demon grabs me, and I can feel the inside of my body begin to swell and burn. I know I’m going to die. I knew that the moment my feet began to move on their own. But I’ll at least be reunited with my father in the Lords glory when I next awake.
Before my body gets the chance to die, I raise my gun and point it between the eyes of my killer.
“In the name of the Honest and Holy God”
I pull the trigger, my killer dies, and I feel my body begin to turn into ash.

“Hold the line”

If nothing else, I could die following my orders. I’ll see you soon, father.

So do we have any official stories about an Angel descending onto the battlefield?

I’ve always seen people compare an angel descending to a nuke going off, and for the longest time I thought that was what happened to Argos, but all the lore says is “it was taken by god and is no more”. So do we have any actual examples of angels descending?

My troops so far for Carcass Front

The Anointed Ones

Lazarist Prophet Hansen Leprae-Not motivated by his own desire nor what destiny awaits him, Hansen willingly gave himself Leprosy to prove his devotion to the Pilgrimage and fights nail and tooth to defend the name of the Honest and True God. He wishes to claim the flesh of leviathan and use the power of the Primordial Sin of Envy to create strong Communicants for the pilgrimage

Lazarist Castigator, Brother Mycoba- A great judge of character, Mycoba serves as the right hand of Hansen and uses his status as castigator to solve disputes in the band, and is quick to bring judgment to those he finds guilty.

Stigmatic Nun, Sister Nyleth-Sent from a convent that afflicts themself with Leprosy as children, Nyleth joins the procession to use her powers to aid in the holy pilgrimage.

Ecclesiastic Prisoner-Austilson-Guilty of the sin of Envy, he was given the affliction and told that only through an honerabke death can he be forgiven of his sins.

I’ve still gotta write lore for the 5 leper-pilgrims that come in the box, but they’re all kinda boring troops compared to these guys

Why is the Procession fighting in Carcass Front?

Like the Heretic Naval Raiders make 100% sense. They’re fighting in a coastal region to claim the power of a giant sea beast. But why the Procession of the sacred affliction? What would they do by claiming leviathans power or unleashing it upon the world?

A dragonfly arrives in Bellhart

He has 4 red wings and is wearing armor. He has two long, thin nails strapped to his back forming an X. He walks in, sits on a bench, unfurls a map and takes out a quill, and he starts tracing lines on the map.

Is Yingzhoa supposed to be this hard?

I keep getting knocked down and killed after 2 hits. I’m barely able to do any damage to him with my sword and I can barely do the parry bomb thing on time. I got his to his second phase twice but keep getting one shot. I played hollow knight and beat Nightmare King Grimm, and lost lace in Silksong , so I don’t know what the trouble is. It’s like I just can’t get the right reaction timing. This game is just weird in its combat. It’s all parrying and retaliating instead of dodging and waiting for punishment windows. I just can’t get used to it.

How many breads have you eaten in your life? Answered

So Zeppeli and his father both worked as Archaeologists and Zeppeli lived from 1839-1889. The weekly wages of an Archaeologist in the mid to late 1800s averaged around 4.50 pounds, and they would work for around 40 weeks a year, meaning the Zeppeli family would make roughly 180 pounds a year.

During this time, around 45% of a persons wages would go towards food, meaning 81 pounds was used for food.

A persons diet would consist of 20-50% bread. Since most Archaeologists are also nobility, a nobility ate mostly meats, vegetables, and wines, they ate at the lower end of 20% bread, meaning 16.20 pounds would be spent on food.

The average price of a loaf of bread in the mid to late 1800s was around 10 pence a loaf, divide 16.20 by 10 and you get 162 loaves of bread eaten a year.

A child’s appetite between the ages of 6 months to 3 years is roughly 25% of an adults, making for 40 loaves a year or 120 total.

Between 3-7 years a child’s appetite is roughly 50% of an adults, making for 81 loaves a year or 405 loaves total, plus the previous 120 and it’s 425.

From 7-10 years, a child’s appetite is 75% of an adults, making for 121.5 loaves a year or 486 loaves total, plus the 425 and you get 911 loaves between 6 months and 10 years.

After 10 years, a child’s appetite becomes the same as an adults, so that’s 40 years with 162 loaves a year for 6480 loaves. Plus the 911 and that’s 7391 loaves of bread

So when Dio asks Baron Zeppeli “How many breads have you eaten in your life?” The answer is roughly 7391 Breads.

How to get better at combat?

I’m a pilgrim from Hollow Knight and Silksong, and I’m starting None Sols. The combat system is very different however, being more focused on Parrying and retaliating than dodging and punishing. How can I work on getting better at parrying attacks and adapting to the new combat system?

Advice for a new VA

So I’m part of a project making a fandub for the manga Steel Ball Run and I landed the role of the main character, Johnny Joestar (he said my Kentucky accent sounded really authentic, seeing as I’m from Kentucky). The only thing is the organizer of the project said I need to read my lines slower and make my voice sound “grittier”. I’ve always had a habit of reading fast and I suck at changing the pitch and sound of my voice, so what can I do to improve?
