Hello everyone, i have my test in october and im on track to be passing first time. I had money saved up to buy a nice cheap car but then I was given a 16.L 2011 Mazda 3 TS2. We have been looking at insurance and had quotes around 5-8k for a year. How is anyone expected to pay this? especially an 18year old. I am unemployed and desperately searching for a job but the market is fucked lol.

I understand that its so high because im a new driver and its a 1.6L but still??? There must be a way to make this cheaper (I am looking into the pass plus scheme as well)

Is anyone able to give some advice?

Hey there! All I'm doing is trying to use Roblox voice chat but it's going very wrong. I'm using Bluetooth headphones and a usb microphone. My headphones keep buffering every few seconds and it's incredibly annoying. While trying to fix this my microphone now no longer pics everything up properly. Any help???

Has anybody else had this? For a while now non of my browsers will work if i have proton connected. Any search will just time out??

A few weeks ago I was on tik tok and saw a video going through from what i can remember parliament or government buildings of the world.

There was this one building that i loved but somehow forgot to save the video!!

I am about 70% sure it was in Africa and was some sort of Parliament building. The image was quite low to the ground. The building from what i can remember was quite a tall thin entrance with the rest of the building behind it. Outside was lovely and green and on the walls i believe there was some sort of pictures using different coloured bricks. The whole vibe felt a little Egyptian but also modern (I also don't believe it was in Egypt)

I know this is incredibley vague but if there's a small chance anyone knows please tell me!!

Hello everyone! I've been developing on Roblox for some years now as well as doing 3d modelling in blender and recently gotten serious in short films.

I have been wanting to expand into a full game either in unity or UE for a while now but didn't know where to begin. I have been learning c++ and been watching tutorials of unity and UE and been messing around in them.

I believe i have come up with a very cool and unique idea for a horror game and would absolutely love to get started on it. I have started using notation and my notes to jot down all the ideas and it's really starting to come together nicely. I just don't know where to go from here. What do I start with first? What's the most important thing to get down? Any advice is really appreciated.

I have fallen in love with this game concept and would just love to get something playable out there even if it's just a 20 minute demo.

I also have another question regarding AI, I am very against generative AI and would never use it for anything in my games however I have found Chatgpt to be useful in some cases when coming up with ideas. I know in my head what I want but I struggle to get the right words out so occasionally I have used Chatgpt to help me form what I want and bridge some of the small gaps between my ideas. What is the general consensus about this? I would never use it to come up with the main ideas but I believe it was ok to use it that 3 or 4 times to get the words out and bridge those small gaps.

Could someone help me understand how booking a practical test works please? I passed my theory and have just had my first lesson since passing and my instructor told me as soon as i get home go into the website and try book one or atleast see when the dates are.

It asked for my preferred date and i tried it with 3 different dates, i tried tomorrow, a day in July and a day in november but all of them came up with "No tests found on any date" on all of the centres near me.

What do I do from here do I just just keep checking everyday?
