How do I know if I’ve ever been truly in love?

So I read somewhere about unrequited love and it hit me that I have never been in love with a person who doesn’t love me back. I of course had crushes on people but if I see that they are showing no interest at all towards me, I lose interest quickly. I have been in a serious relationship before. At the time I was crazy in love and I kept loving them long after our breakup, but the thing is that at the beginning of that relationship they were love bombing me. That makes me think I wouldn’t have fallen in love in the first place if it wasn’t mutual from the start . I know I’m overthinking this but it makes me wonder what even is true love?

Anyone ever wasted a decade of their life?

Basically the title.
I was at a point in my life where I was finalizing my masters degree where my mental health and everything with it went downhill.
For years I’ve been just in survival mode, sometimes in part time low paying jobs sometimes not working and focusing on my health.
Now I don’t know where to start and feel an immense sadness. Anyone was able to turn their life around after wasting nearly a decade of their life?

Edit: I just wanted to thank everyone who has shared their experiences and words of encouragement. As you can probably tell from my post I was feeling a bit overwhelmed today and I’m finding it hard to reply to each comment individually. I am really inspired by many people’s resilience here, your comments have been very helpful and have given me a better perspective on things.
Wishing everyone here all the best <3

Is it normal to ban someone for believing abortion at 22 weeks is wrong?

There was a pregnant woman devastated asking for advice, she said she wishes she would miscarry but also felt guilty about those thoughts, was too far ahead in her pregnancy and was looking for advice.
Then some brilliant women came up with the idea that she can travel somewhere where she can still abort in month 5-6.

Is it moral to silence people just because they have a different opinion or because they’re stating a truth you don’t like ?

How to rebuild your life after years of failure?

Hi everyone,
I don’t know if this question is appropriate for this sub but I didn’t know where else to ask this.
I would like to read stories of people who had major setbacks such as for example in academic life/ career/ finances/ mental health etc.
How long did it take to rebuild and how did you do it, or maybe witness someone else doing it?
Also something I’m struggling with how to keep up your self esteem and self worth while you’re going through difficult times and feel stuck in life and ashamed ?

TRE vs fascia unwinding?

Hello everyone,
I’ve been experiencing constant fascia unwinding for more than 2.5 years now. In the beginning I didn’t know what that was and after a lot of research online I discovered my sensations were very similar to what people report in trauma release exercises and fascia healing.
I had a lot of leg shaking and weird sensations like feeling waves of energy sort of trying to leave my body, sometimes feeling something like an electric spark or electrostatic on the surface of my skin around the neck and shoulder blades area, or like an air bubble rising up and bursting.
I know it sounds really weird and at times I was super scared that maybe I was developing some neurological disease.
I also had a lot of emotions come up, sometimes I would have random memories come to my mind after a particular good release, a lot of times it wasn’t negative memories but just neutral ones that I hadn’t thought about since forever.
I also used to have poor posture before and at some point during this journey my posture started getting better, it’s been a gradual process but it keeps getting better.
The weirdest part of this is that I never did trauma release exercises or fascia massage, I was going through a period of bad anxiety and depression and was doing spiritual practices like meditation, sound healing and so on, it seems something triggered it.

Has anyone had similar experience and does anyone know if TRE and fascia unwinding/ healing are related or the same thing?
