Frame rust

Im trying to buy a 3000gt for a really good deal, the only issue is that it has what looks like structural rust. The seller sent this photo and said it's under the driver's front side of the car. I can't really tell what im looking at in the photo but it's definitely not good. I have a welder and decent welding skills. I'm willing to do whatever repairs are necessary, not really concerned about how much work or money would go into it and I'm set on repairing it if I get the car. However id like a bit of insight on what exactly is rusted here because im not super familiar with these cars and their frames, obviously frame rust is bad but this would only be a light driver and I'm willing to do whatever is needed to fix it.

1969 Plymouth barracuda convertible

This is my dad's 1969 Barracuda convertible, we've been working on it together for awhile now to get it road worthy after sitting for 25+ years, he's had it for a very long time but the last time it drove was in the 90s or early 2000s. It looks good in the photo but it's actually in pretty rough shape once you look at it in person. We've driven it on the road once but the power steering gearbox pours out all its fluid due to a ruined seal, we're working on getting that fixed then it'll be driving good hopefully. The cool thing is that it has pretty much no modifications done to it in the body or engine besides repair work, which I believe is rare for these cars because I've never seen one that's not at least decently modified. I also believe the convertible model is rare, correct me if I'm wrong. It has the 318 v8

Fixing bubbled on fresh paint

Recently replaced a side panel on my jeep Patriot and everything went well except a small spot bubbled up likely due to dirt or something underneath it, the paint has been drying for around 6 hours now and I unwisely tried to sand down that spot which worked but the primer peeled off along with more of the paint that didn't need to come off. I know it was dumb to do this but my current plan is to wait till tomorrow then sand it again and redo with primer, wait a day then put the paint on. Is this a good course of action? This is my first paint job on a car (using rattle cans)

Sound amp/speakers with stock stereo

I want to add an amp and possibly upgraded door speakers/subwoofer to my 2nd gen but I do not want to replace the original stereo, doesn't have to do with price. I just don't like to have a touchscreen in my car. Is this possible to do and how easy would it be? I know of crutchfield as a place to buy equipment

Flipping a 2004 grand Cherokee

My neighbor has a 2004 grand Cherokee that I considered inquiring about it as a project to possibly buy and flip for a small profit (I mainly do this for fun). I know it's been sitting in the driveway for at least 6 years. The only visible damage I can see is a flat tire and a small-ish rust hole on the rocker panel otherwise it looks really good. I know it has the v8 and I've seen really good condition grand Cherokees of this age go for 3k in my area. The issue is that obviously a lot can happen in 6 years of sitting and there must've been a bigger issue than a flat tire for it to be parked for so long. I still have yet to ask my neighbor about the mileage and what's wrong with it since I'm currently flipping another car right now, however I'm sure id be able to buy it for like $500-$700 considering how long it's been here and I do know this neighbor decently well. id like to know what you all think based on my current info.

Change your transmission fluid!!!! (CVT)

If you have a cvt this is your reminder to take extra good care of it and change the fluid regularly because these transmissions really seem to depend on it. Ive been getting faults with my transmission which has never had the fluid changed in 115k miles, apparently just changing the fluid makes a huge difference (obviously, but especially with a cvt) . One thing you absolutely need to do if you aren't doing it yourself is make sure both of the 2 filters are changed by whoever is doing it.

2008 patriot, all my door seals leak after it rains and as you can see they hold water which caused rust over the years. I just got this car recently and I'm trying to fix this, it seems like the water gets in from the top and pools in the bottom. The seals themselves seem fine so I'm not sure why they're leaking

My 2008 gave me a check engine light today with the code PO700 transmission control system and 2 unknown issue with U1110 and U1120. This happened while I was driving and everything seemed fine on my way back home, I have a cvt trans and it seems to slip or just shift kinda badly when I do harder accelerations and it jerks the car a bit, but this has happened since I got the car. 115000 miles
