Help - 6 person base camp pulling
I purchased the 6person base camp and it’s pulling in the middle and the door is hard to close. I fear it will tear. Any help on what I am doing wrong?

I’m in Denver to see Olivia Dean!! Any recs on where to drinks or dinner prior? Does anyone want to meetup ??
I’ve been planning for a cross country roadtrip for month. Researching campground and hikes.
Unfortunately, I recently hurt my foot and need to pivot.
Looking for recommendations on hikes that are relatively easy but with great views.
Before saying AllTrails, it’s easy to eliminate trails but it’s hard to know if a moderate trail is truly moderate, , easy, or hard.
Thank you so much. I leave in 2 weeks
I’ve been planning for my trip for 6 months. Booking campgrounds, planning all the stops and hikes.
Unfortunately, I recently fell and have a sprain in my foot. Therefore I need to pivot.
Please share hikes / trails with great views but low effort
I’m going to the concert solo, was wondering if anyone else is and would like to meet and grab drinks prior ??
It’s been 2 months since I fell and my doctor is telling me i need surgery (I’m getting a second opinion). But can yall drop your workout routine! I cannot continue to rot on my couch.
Looking for recommendations to keep my electric bill down from those that have lived in the building.
The units are inefficient, I’m assuming this is driven by the sunroom. I typically keep my ac around 73ish and I face the west side so I’m not getting direct sun.
In my previous apt, I would keep my AC set at 68 and my bill was never over $70 / $80. But since moving, I’ve tried to up the temp since I saw others complain about their bill.
Thus far, I’ve tried to keep my blinds close and shut the door to the sunroom when possible.
It’s only 5 days in the month and I’ve already used 385 kWh. If we continue to have temp in high 80 + I fear my bill will be close to $400.
Thanks so much for any recommendations you may have !!
I am going on a three week roadtrip, driving my Tesla, leaving from Virginia and driving out to Wyoming and Montana to visit the national parks, specifically Glacier, Yellowstone, Teton.
This is my first BIG trip.
I am a bit nervous I will forget the essentials for the trip / camping. For example, someone told me I should have super glue in case I get a hole in my tent.
What are some items you make sure to always pack ?
Here is what I currently have:
Tent, pad, sleeping bag, liner, tarp
Camp stove, cook wear, folding table, instant coffee, water jug, bench covers, lighter stick
- I will also pack aluminum foil, spices, spray
Misc: binoculars, bear spray, bug spray, bath wipes, toilet paper, paper towels
What else am I missing? Spam me with things you forgot and you add for the next trip.
I am a bit nervous to ride a horse, but I would really love the experience.
I’ve been researching places to take 1-2 hour ride, but I’m having a hard time finding a place that treats their horses well.
A lot of folks recommend swift creek, but I read how their horses are overworked and still use them even if they have joint pain.
I’ve also seen bad reviews on here for Heart Six.
I would love to do it, but at an ethical place that treats their horses well, but maybe they are all overworked especially during tourist season and I should skip it.
I am going on a three week roadtrip. Someone recently shared with me you can get under the seat bins for toiletries. And now I’m thinking, what other hidden storage solutions are there!!
Please drop your recs and even better if you can share a picture !!
I’m going on a 3 week roadtrip in August and will spend 3 days in glacier. Camping 2 nights in Apgar and one night in many glacier.
I have a model Y Tesla. Looking for pointers from those that have traveled the area with limited charging options
I am taking a three week roadtrip out west with my cousin and my friend will join us for about 5 days. With this. I am a bit nervous for space as that is an extra carryon.
I want to be mindful as what is showing through the window as I don’t want anyone to break in my car.
Frunk:
Camp kitchen
Lower level trunk: Hest Foam pad
Trunk:
Three small carry on
Battery pack
Trent + sleep bag
Question: does anyone have a cooler that they recommend that can fit in my backseat floor?
I was wondering ordering a hitch rack to store stuff, but I read it will make it difficult to charge the car
Thanks so much
Trip is mid August, so I know there will be a lot of traffic and Yellowstone is large and so much to see and 2 days is not enough time. I would like to see big items and would come back to visit to see more. Let me know if there is anything i am missing and should remove to make up for it. For me, I want to see wildlife
I have an amazing group of friends, but sadly they do not like camping. I traveled to Maine last year and camping for a long weekend and I fell in love with it.
How do I find friends that would be open to going camping? Thus far, my camping experience is setting up a tent and exploring throughout the day and sleeping in it at night.
Would love to learn how to cook at the campsite and just chill / read a book
Edit: thank you so much for all the interest, I’ve created a WhatsApp group, please send me a DM for more info
I’m trying to decide between the two. Looking for a tent to fit 3 people. Use between spring - fall. I was going to get the base camp but a bit worried it might get too hot in the summer
Hello! I will be visiting Glacier in August, driving my Tesla. Night one I’m staying in Apgar, night two, looking to book somewhere near many glaciers.
When researching, I find there are destination chargers, but how readily available are they? Doesn’t seem to be too many so I’m worried they will often be in use and take several hours until I can charge.
I’m considering booking at KOA with an electrical site if it’s unlikely I’ll able to charge during the day.
Thanks so much
My apt building has requested for me to fill out an additional ESA request form. I haven’t been asked for this in the past (bozzuto mgmt company has always accepted my ESA letter)
I’m assuming they are doing this to charge the monthly dog fee.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I moved last week. The drivers charged me for an extra hour, what I don’t understand, we left my apartment at the same time, but they arrived to my new apartment 45 minutes after me. What were they doing? Were they reorganizing the truck?
I will be traveling from Teton to Rapid City. When I map it out, it looks like there is a long stretch without any super chargers, which is making me stop in riverton for 3 hours.
