Why frieren doesn't use her full powers even when her companions are in a life or death situation??

Like when stark got his head between Jaws of that dragon, if that dragon had more psi his skull would be crushed. Or when he was fighting that demonling that mimicked his master and got almost slashed in half. And so many more situations

i dont like this trend of giving "weapon skins" instead of actual weapons . as many event weapons are either bis or a very good option on a lott of characters . and its not like they've put much effort in this claymore skin...

spindle is bis for albedo , festering for furina , spindlute for lauma , oathsworn for nicole etc .
