Have previously seen people ask where food challenges are to be found in Cape Town. If you try this one, you'd better finish it, as R550 is pretty steep eh

Is this advertisement from a local South African delivery company Takealot AI? Its obviously either edited by a person or AI but I'm interested in which one it is for a project I'm working on.

It looks like they removed a real person that was at the met gala with an AI tool and replaced it with the box here but I've looked through some reverse image searches and couldn't find an exact match to this picture. Takealot has used AI in its marketing in the past which also further raises my suspicions.

How is this still legal? No animal belongs in a circus, performing tricks for another species' "enjoyment", or living in cramped, featureless surroundings

KLM flight attendant hospitalized with mild symtoms after contact with a hantavirus patient during boarding in Johannesburg

https://nltimes.nl/2026/05/07/klm-flight-attendant-hospitalized-contact-hantavirus-cruise-ship-passenger

The contact occurred on Saturday April 25 (almost 2 weeks ago) during boarding in South Africa to the Netherlands.

I am wondering about the nature of this interaction include (1) how symptomatic the patient was, (2) what the contact is, and (3) the flight attendant's risk factors for severe disease like comorbidities.
