When that person asked Hal about his costume, he seemed somewhat averse to the topic; I think he no longer likes wearing the suit—or even being Green Lantern. My guess is that Carol died as a result of his time serving as Green Lantern.
This theory has not much basis whatsoever; it just suddenly crossed my mind because I noticed the show doesn't seem to mention Carol Ferris at all.

The design of this parasitic monster draws heavily from the likes of the Evangelion or Shin Godzilla; driven by an uncontrollable, voracious greed, it eventually shatters its restraining armor to transform into a colossal monstrosity that fuses with the city itself—its feet turning into asphalt and its arms into concrete and rebar—while wielding superhuman destructive power and a variety of beam-based breath attacks.
I realized that Krypto was more terrifying than Superman, Kaiju, or Ultraman. This dog basically possessed the superpowers of Kryptonians. At least Superman still had humanity, Kaiju was just an ordinary monster, and Ultraman was completely controlled by humans, but this mad dog did not. It was extremely wild and highly lethal. Luthor, Ultraman, and even Superman were almost killed by this dog. A wild dog with superpowers but no control was simply a threat.

This suit is crafted from a combination of Kryptonian fabric and advanced technology, custom-tailored specifically for Clark. It is designed primarily to enhance flight stability and provide superior protection. The light blue sections consist of a protective fabric featuring a textured pattern of transparent granules; the red sections are made of an abrasion-resistant alien aerospace fabric; the dark blue areas allow for flexibility; and the silver sections are capable of absorbing and storing various forms of radiant energy. When exposed to the full light of a yellow sun, the silver areas shift to gold; they can also store energy from a red sun—emitting a red glow—serving as a vital countermeasure against Kryptonian adversaries or the creature known as Parasite.
This is a talisman to bless me with passing my exam, and I suddenly noticed this blue object placed right on top of it.
Entering the mayor's house doesn't seem easy. Catwoman and Batman both needed ropes to get in from the roof, so how did the Riddler enter the house completely silently while the mayor was watching TV? Even if the Riddler has exceptional arm strength to use a rope to enter the room, it would still take Catwoman time to reel in the rope. The Riddler is truly a master of stealth.
