I’ve kind of given up on trying to sketch and line everything out before I go in with details, and have started taking a more “flesh out the vibe first” approach to my art process. It takes a lot of the pressure off for and makes the process a lot more fun and loose for me ! ⭐️
Tried experimenting with more colours and textures and a paint overlay! Also I don’t usually do animals so this was a fun switch up :)
Thank everyone for the feedback! I think she looks a lot better now, but if anyone has any more critiques/things I can make better l'm all open! :)
Working on some concept designs for a comic I’m working on, and Lucy (first image) just feels so flat and boring in comparison to Mimi (second image.) It’s a dystopian-based story where they’re both these lesbian rugrats for context lol. Looking for advice on how to make Lucy match Mimi a bit better and feel more interesting!

I feel like there’s something a little off with the colours and I want to make it look a little more cohesive with the guy painting, what would u recommend?
Did some cleanup + Lineart and changed a few things from my [last post](https://www.reddit.com/r/animation/s/6nvCyFUvmO) lmk what you think and if I should change anything before adding colours!
