I started discarding on day 2 or 3 can't quite remember

It hasn't doubled or made any recognizable progress yet unlike day 2 or 3 and today there was hooch (I'm not sure if I'm using the word correctly but it was greyish liquid on the top) i threw that away and took a certain amount of the starter fed it and threw away the rest

Am i doing this correctly? And when do i start feeding it twice a day?

Today is day 3 it's not fully doubled and I still have room in my jar

So do i only take 20gm add to another jar and feed or do i feed it in the same jar then discard when it starts doubling please lmk

See this is my first ever starter and I'm confused

This is day 2 starter

1/ my starter smells ssoooooooo acidic before and after feeding it the smell increased even more

2/ when i checked it this morning it was so liquidy and smelt acidic and now 6 hrs after feeding it's liquidy again and acidic

3/ it was bubbly this morning knowing that this is its 2nd day

4/ I'm so excited abt it i keep checking the jar every now and then is that wrong?

My friend wants to come over for the first time after our finals but the thing is their house ks severely infested with bed bugs (she keeps sending me pics of her bite marks and yk talking abt the bugs in general)
