This is from Viera FL apartments.

I rented out an apartment and they said they had a 1 month free garage parking.

So naturally I asked them what is the cost for garage parking and I wanted to pull my eyes out after seeing a whooping $225 / month cost.

Wtf? Are other places also charging this much for a freaking garage parking?

So I got the VI peel and everything was going as I had expected day 3 I started peeling and today is day 6 and everything looks well except the area around my mouth has darkened quite a bit.

Like my chin and upper lips and around the mouth have gotten pretty dark and flaky and dry.

It’s not hurting but quite uncomfortable.

In not sure if this is normal?

I already peeled around that area and the darkening started after the fact. And No I did not peel it off it peeled by itself.

:( I’m a but concerned. Pls help!

Today I got my periods and didn’t even realize it.

I had no pain! Literally nothing. No stomach ache, cramps or back pain.

Literally every single period I have had it has always come with intense pain on the first day.

I recently quit my job and I have had no stress for the past 10 days. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with that?

I am amazed and confused at the same time. Whats the science behind this?

I always take an ibuprofen the first day which is the only thing that helps. This time I didnt even feel when my periods came and it was exactly one month apart from the last one. I do have regular periods.

I have loved working here but upper management did make everything toxic.

My manager is the sweetest and I would have stayed but I couldn’t because I was not progressing well here. I was doing every other task more than my own job description. Cut from 10 employees to 5.

Today I handed my resignation and my manager cried a lot, her face was red. I started crying looking at her. It was very emotional. She said she understands and wishes me luck. She said I’m the best she has had and will definitely miss me.

Kudos to managers like her that show true emotions. The one who doesnt get mad upon someone leaving but instead wishes them the best.

Hello, I currently got a job and relocating to FL soon.

I will be making 100k/yr and the apartment costs around $1800 plus additional charges such as water ,sewer and electricity etc

I do not have debt and I’m a single person with no family.

My question is whether the rent amount would be okay for someone with my salary.

I’m open to suggestions. I have lived with roommates before and I really cant be doing that again anymore. I was paying $1200 when living with a roommate and was able to save a ton. Now with just myself I’ll be putting in more than 500$ on a single bed/bath apt.

Hello, I recently accepted a job with Lockheed which is located in Cape Canaveral.

I’m planning to live in Viera FL.

Commute shows 33 mins on map.

Is that too long of a drive? Will there be traffic? I am open to any suggestions

Hello all, I received green light to start work. However the HR sent my manager’s preferred start date which is a week from today.

I live in NH and the job is onsite in FL. They are asking me my preferred date. How far can I stretch it? They are not providing relocation package so I need atleast 1.5 months to figure out everything.

My question is will giving a start date 1.5 months from now be fine? Or is that too late?

On the offer letter it said I have to start within 45 days of getting clearance however I can start work with just background check which is done.

Finally got my start date.

Passed background check. I can work while they process for TS clearance.

7 months of applying. Then an offer. Another 3 weeks of background check. Finally I will start.

Yea I’m happy. And I’m sure anyone out here who is in the process🫶🏼 It will happen soon!

How is the office at Titusville? I recently accepted a job as a materials and process engineer here and don’t see much about Titusville site posted on here. Does the site have gym? Cafeteria etc. how is work life there? Work flexibility?

I got offer for Lockheed and accepted. Currently in the process for clearance.

I also got an offer from RTX today. Base salary higher by 7k than lockheed. Also giving relocation and sign on bonus which the other doesnt offer.

What do I do?

Im worried if I rescind my offer with Lockheed I would basically be burning bridges and they would never hire me again.

Update: looks like I will sending out an email to HR at lockheed and ask if they can match the offer. TBD

I have a question regarding security clearance SF68 form.

I did have a debt go to collections but it was only $290.

Will this affect my chances of getting a clearance and/or the job itself?

Hello everyone, I just got a job at a large defense company and was wondering what are the best areas to rent an apt?

I would ideally like to be in between orlando and titusville but don’t want a long commute.

I want to live in a safe community and budget is not a problem.

Any recommendations are appreciated. I’m moving from NH and don’t have enough time to explore all my options in such less notice.

I am in a weird position

I got an offer from lockheed martin but the offer is for a lower salary.

I also interviewed with RTX and thought it went great. My status on workday shows Pending and so far from all responses on here seems like I might get an offer.

The thing us its been over a week and I have reached out to recruiter but no response from their side.

The thing is I’m happy to join either. My thing is if at all I have a chance at RTX I want to know how much they are offering before I choose one.

I only have until tomorrow to give an answer to Lockheed on acceptance of the offer.

Any suggestions on what I could do? Should I email the recruiter again? I do not have hiring managers email.

What should the salary of Level 2 material and process engineer be? They did not provide any range.

Also this is based in Florida and was wondering how the culture down there is at Lockheed.

I graduated with bachelors in biomedical engineering. I was searching jobs and landed in a chemical company for polymers. Been here 3 years, realized that I should have been in a biotech or pharmaceutical. Started applying for those but never got picked. Realized what a dumb mistake I have made. Now I cannot get into pharmaceutical or biotech companies unless I go for masters in that field and then apply for jobs.

Very important to make a thorough decision for your first job.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I do not want to go back to college. Just not sure what my options are.
