Looking for a strict, ZERO-EXCUSES accountability partner. Serious people only.

Looking for a strict, ZERO-EXCUSES accountability partner. Serious people only.

Hey everyone. I am 18f looking for a strictly disciplined study partner. I am not going to share my subject or exam details publicly, and I don't care what you are studying either also.

I don't need a friend or a casual texting buddy. I need someone who is brutally honest.

Here is the setup: We send each other our exact study goals every morning and check on each other sometimes also. At night, we send proof of completion or we can just be honest and say the truth also.

If I give you an excuse for slacking off, you call me out on it. I will do the same for you. No comfort, no "it's okay, try tomorrow." Just raw accountability.

If you are prone to ghosting, giving up after three days, or making excuses, do not message me. If you are actually ready to lock in and be strict and my timezone is IST , send me a DM right now with your timezone and your daily target hours in that.

Bro is studying 12 - 17 hours a day in 11th. When does he even sleep?

It's not a hate post but I'm just curious about him. I know it's possible to pull 12 hours with coaching but there are videos of him pulling more than that as an 11th grader also. When would he be sleeping and doing other things?

Need an elder sister advice. Should I break up with him?

Hey, I really need some blunt, mature advice from anyone who has been through this. I feel mentally drained and stuck, and I need you all to talk to me like an elder sister would.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 months, but we were friends for 7 months before that. During our friendship, we fought constantly probably around 10 times a month over small and big things. I would block him but I'll again unblock him and forgive him as he doesn't have any friend so I used to feel bad leaving him and he's not actually that bad as a friend also it's like I used to not feel good also when I'll not talk with him and he said that also.

Honestly, he is not typically my type physically, but I care much more about personality and emotional connection, so I didn't care about it. I do love him. However, I’m realizing his personality isn't really what I want either.

I am a person who values actions over words and someone who's emotionally intelligent also and not someone who I have to teach on how to treat me or how to talk with me. He constantly promises me that he will change his behavior, but he never actually follows through. This cycle keeps repeating, it completely irritates me, and it causes resentment to build up inside me. I have told him so many times exactly what needs to change, and he always agrees, but he doesn't do anything like that.

Every time this happens, I just want to break up with him. I feel stuck because I love him, but I am tired of waiting for changes that never come and we just had one more fight now.

How do I handle this? Is it time to finally end the relationship, or is there a way to break this cycle?

TL;DR: Bf and I fought constantly as friends, and now that we are dating, he makes empty promises to change his behavior. It's causing resentment for him.

Edit: Thank you so much to everyone who commented! Your honesty and advice gave me the exact reality check I needed. I realized I was holding onto "good moments" while ignoring a toxic cycle of empty promises. I’ve decided to choose my peace of mind, stop waiting for him to change, and walk away from this relationship. Thanks for helping me see my worth! ❤️

How much Indians are open to adopting a teen?

I’m writing this because I am deeply shaken and need to understand the ground reality of our system, while also seeking advice for someone in a desperate situation.

Recently, I came across a 17-year-old girl who is facing severe, systematic physical abuse at the hands of her biological parents. I have already advised her to contact NGOs, and we are looking into emergency options. But looking at the people in India , it made me wonder: How open are Indians to adopting teenagers?

Legally, under CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority) guidelines, a child can be adopted up to the age of 18. But when you look at the reality, it feels like older children are completely forgotten.

Nearly everyone waiting on the CARA list wants a baby or a toddler (usually under 2 or 8 years old). Teenagers who are rescued from abusive households are almost never picked. They just age out of the system at 18, forced to face the world entirely alone without any family support network.

Indians are definitely adopting more now, and the preference for girl children has gone up, which is great. But why is there such a massive mental block against adopting older kids? They need a safe, loving home just as much as an infant does If not more, given the trauma they've survived.

Selling Plum coupon code — student in need of some help

Hey everyone, I’m a student currently living in a PG, and I recently ordered some products from Plum. Unfortunately, some of the products arrived damaged and a few were missing.

I contacted Plum through email and after discussing the issue with them, they provided me with a coupon code of 216 as compensation. However, I don’t really have any use for the coupon right now, and I really need the money of that.

So, if anyone here is planning to shop from Plum and would be interested in buying the coupon code from me, please DM me.

How do I make toxic, meddling relatives mind their own business when I don't even have my own room to escape them?

My highly manipulative relatives (and their family) are staying at my house for 10 days. Both the husband and his wife are incredibly toxic people who constantly try to get into my business and talk trash about me to my parents. To make matters worse, my parents completely believe their lies every single time and scolds me and that really demotivates me.

And I don't have my own room so I stay in my mom's room and he comes into my mom’s room, hangs out, and stays there, completely invading my space and he just find ways to talk bad about me and things like that like he will start to ask me about academics and if I'll tell him then he'll start asking me higher class questions and then when I'll tell him it's of not my class and he'll be like these are taught to kids and start to demotivate me and tell my grandparents and parnets about it and they believe him also like WHY THE FUCK YOU ARE NOT LOOKING AT YOUR CHILD AND COMING TO ME. I have absolutely no privacy or physical boundary to protect myself from them.

I feel totally trapped under my own roof, and I need advice on how to get this guy to stop talking to me, stay out of my things, and mind his own business while also figuring out what to do so my parents actually start believing me instead of eating up all their toxic trash-talk.

Any psychological tricks or strategies to survive this nightmare would mean the world to me.
