Do you like the idea?

Anytime while reading this you feel the need to comment a question or criticism, I ask that you think and use your imagination for a second longer before you comment.

The idea is a light rail that surpasses traffic, that is funded, kept clean, monitered and kept safe. two stations, one near depot and one near magnolia park runs along this path, two units running opposite each other. two tracks side by side. tracks veer off to edge of road to drop off riders. Busses are eliminated from this path. Leave your additions, criticisms, and possible solutions to my obvious errors in the comments.

Boxcar Outdoor Stage

I'm visiting Depot Park for the first time in a while and I noticed a stage in the outdoor seating area. Are shows happening here? Who do I contact to book a show if so?

[IWantOut] 33M Cook/Guitarist Florida, US -> The Netherlands

I'm a single 33 y/o male with no family who lives in the US. I hate it here and I want to live in The Netherlands. I don't have a college degree. I have over a decade of food service experience and I play guitar very well. I have a passport, but I have never been to The Netherlands, and I have been practicing my Dutch for over a year now.

What are my options for moving to The Netherlands permanently and what would be the steps to achieving that goal?

Local Music Jams

Looking to get out there with my acoustic guitar. Do you know of any jam sessions in town and what day and time they happen? I know the Bull on Mondays is good and I know about one at Cypress and Grove but I can't remember which day or at what time that one happens.

Looking to Gig in a Local Band

My name's Chad, I'm 33. I play guitar and am looking to play in a band. I'm a mostly rock player and am familiar with most classic tunes. I feel confident in my abilities to gig and practice with a local Gainesville band. I can improvise relatively well and I can comp. I haven't played many gigs in recent years, but I'm punctual, I'm not a drunk, and I have a great sounding full live amp and guitar rig. Please DM me if you'd be so kind as to give me a shot. Thank you.

Dog for Adoption

First and foremost, would there be a better place on reddit for me to look for someone in the Gainesville area to adopt this dog? If so I would greatly appreciate the info! I don't have IG or FB.

This is Theo. He is my neighbors dog. I'm helping her, with her permission, to find someone to adopt her dog as she cannot take care of him anymore due to unforseen circumstances.

I have been helping my neighbor watch Theo when she needs to leave for extended periods of time for the past 2 months. In that time I have learned the following:

• Theo will not poop or pee inside ever, no matter what.
• He eats two cups of dry food a day, one in the am, one in the pm.
• He is somewhere between 10 and 13 y/o.
• He's an escape artist, so my neighbor tells me. I assume his floppy broken paw is something that happened to him on one of his excursions outside of his backyard.
• Regardless of his paw, he loves walks. He can't go for more than 25-35 minutes at a time, not without a travel water bowl and rest in some shade.
• One of his ears is pretty blocked up and one of his eyes doesn't seem to work very well. That being said, commands to him generally have to be a little louder than you think.
• He knows "sit", "paw", "other paw" (sometimes), "lie down", "roll over", "come on"/"let's go", and he won't eat until you tell him to "go eat".
• He loves fetching (short distances) his bone and yellow tennis ball.
• He loves chewing his bone.
•My neighbor told me he has gone after two other dogs because of jealousy of other humans petting or showing affection to the other dogs. I have not seen this behavior once.
• I walk him around his neighborhood and he has close to no interest in other dogs he sees. But I'm not his owner and I only see him every other week or so.
• He wants to lie around and be pet and loved by preferebly a single person, with a yard, and a house they don't mind getting dog fur all up in.

Here's some media of the ol' boy.

Private message me if interested!
