I'm not usually one to complain about bugs, but holy crap is TWW broken for leveling right now...

I've got 5 or 6 90s that all started at level 80 (either naturally, or through lemix). This past weekend, I started leveling my old Blood Elf pally, mostly because I wanted the heritage armor sets and he was already exalted with Silvermoon. He started at level 34, and I leveled him through part of BFA and then switched over to Shadowlands (so I could unlock the Blood Knight quest).

Once I hit 70, I immediately got "The War Within" recap quest, which has you use Lorewalking to go through the highlights of TWW. It's really nice at the start because it's a whirlwind tour of TWW that takes you through the highlights of the campaign while skipping all of the side quests and anything not essential. That is, until I got to the part where I needed to queue up for the Rookery and got an error: "You don't meet the requirements for this instance." I was level 75 at the time, and tried queueing up 4 or 5 times, stopping and restarting the lorewalking quest, etc. Nothing worked.

So I stopped lorewalking and decided to level my way through the campaign the old fashioned way; I repeated a few of the same quests and got to the first "Do the Earthcrawl Mines delve" quest and was unable to complete the step where you need to choose a role for Brann; I'd get a broken dialog with Valeera's face in it, and a LUA error every time I interacted with the box.

The workaround for this last one was to enter the delve, use the supplies inside to configure Brann, then exit and re-enter the delve to complete the next step.

Still running into two massive bugs in the TWW campaign within the space of an hour feels really sloppy.

Why do Christians hold Non-Christians to a higher standard than they hold themselves?

Background: I am an atheist who was raised Catholic. I was active in Youth Group in High school and studied the philosophy of religion in college (I took a bunch of courses in Christianity, and other religions). I realized I was an atheist in my late 20s or early 30s. I won’t go into why here, I’m just trying to explain that I am very familiar with Christianity from the inside.

So, here is my question: given Jesus’ teachings in the New Testament, why do so many Christian’s refuse to follow them and, instead, use mostly old-Testament reasoning to use their religion to attack and marginalize other people?

If you boil Jesus’s teachings down to their essence they read like this: focus on yourself first, by kind, and don’t pay too much attention to the sins of others. Instead, focus on your own sins, and be a better person by being kind to everyone.

And yet, so many people who identify as Christians violate all of that. They ignore their own sins, and the sins of people who they support. And they hyper fixate on what they perceive as the failings of others to the point of wishing them dead and/or to burn in hell.

Let’s just focus on Leviticus. It is the most often cited passage in the Bible justifying hate of gay people. And yet, Jesus Christ spent his life with lepers and whores. He told his followers to love unconditionally. To turn the other cheek. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. All ignored.

Also ignored? Don’t trim your beard, don’t get tattoos, don’t wear mixed fibers. All from Leviticus. Why is one small part enough to justify genocide, but the rest are ignored? And the stoning… so much stoning in the Bible.

So why do Christian’s hold everyone else to a higher standard than they hold themselves, their families, their fellow Christians? How do you logically justify wanting gay people to die, but not people who eat shrimp or wear wool and cotton together?

I’d like a Christian to explain to me why they feel it’s OK to ignore Jesus so that they can better satisfy their baser instincts. I don’t expect that they will, but my mind is open as long as your answer isn’t hypocrisy.

My response to a random text from Joe Fucking Morelle

PRE EDIT: For all of you fuckjobs calling me "unhinged" and laughing out of the side of your face while you roll your eyes and downvote me: downvote me 1000 times, but for each down - post one suggestion for something the average person can do other than reply angrily to a text.

Feel free to reuse. Yeah, I noticed the typo.

EDIT: If you are one of those pinky-raising, doom and gloom fuckwads who want to mock me for trying ANYTHING at all, while you sit at your keyboard poo-pooing people and shaking your head: FUCK ALL THE WAY OFF. If you have a better suggestion, reply with it. If you're just going to mock me for trying anything, fuck you and your ear.
