GOAL: 7 days fasted

Long time intermitent faster and a couple of longer fasts under the belt, like 3 4 days.

But the 4 days one was 2 years ago, so I want to start slow not just jump to 7 days.

So last week I completed a 3 day fast, it was easier then ever now that I actually take electrolites too, it s amazing what the body can do when the mind is willing.

This week doing a 4 day fast, and in like 7 8 weeks I should be ready for a 7 day fast, which is my personal goal.

For anyone that s done this before, how did you feel?

Lost 20kg trough a combination of fasting and intermitent fasting, now maintaining with Omad.

It s become a second nature and even for my stomach a habit

3 days done ✅

Weekly 3 days are done, got like half hour left before I can have my meal just because I wanted to reach 90 hours.

Gotta say, ever since I started taking in my electrolites while fasting it s been so much easier. I have normal amounts of energy, if not even more at times, and overall each time I do my 3 days of fasting it gets easier and easier. Like a second nature of my body

Changed my life

I struggled with food, my weight and depression from the ages of 14 to 18. I was scared that these issues would follow me into adulthood and stop me from following my dreams.

It was like torture honestly hating my body and myself constantly.

Losing the weight then quickly gaining it back because of emotional attachment to food.

But today I can finally say I m down 18kgs in 4 months.

I hit 82kgs on my 18th birthday and literally cried that day because of how I looked.

Now I m 64kgs, 2 away from my goal and I can confidently say I will never get fat again.

That was the worst time in my life, and tho problems exist all the time, food is never the right way to cope with them.

Fasting helped me so much, I have my first meal around 4 5 pm, and then a late snack at 9pm.

If you ever feel like giving up on yourself, just don't, because I promise feeling good in your body is better then anything.

I cant stand anything but watermelon

I literally made some chicken drums air fried and cannot even smell them without feeling like throwing up

Only thing I can eat is cold crispy sweet watermelon

Anyone else experience this?

How should I eat?

I d very much appreciate some advice.

For the past 4 years I ve not really had a normal eating routine. Either hardcore binging, starving or omad, carnivore, frutarian, calorie counting, anything but normal eating.

So I literally cant remember how i m supposed to do it lol.

I started tirzepatide 4 days ago and I dont feel hungry, like, ever. Apetite is low as well, but if I allow myself junkfood can always get consumed.

How am i supposed to eat? Omad? 3 meals a day? Junk homemade food? I havent got a clue

For ref I m 177cm 18yo girl 74kg

What should I do?

So, I ve done carnivore in the past for not that much time honestly, but i did go from 76kg to 72, and wasnt that fat anymore. For ref, i m 177cm girl.

Then I spiraled gained it back, and decided to start fasting to lose a lot of weight for summer and get to 66kg.

Did a 4 day fast, refeed, now i m on my second fast curently hour 65. This morning was 71.7kg.

My plan was to do a 14 day fast, then continue with doing carnivore, because it s amazing for my body, pretty much the best eating style i ve had.

But I dont know if I should keep going with this, or just switch right now to carnivore?

I d eat 1200 calories a day (my meintenance is around 2000, maybe 1800), so I hope i dont gain the weight back; also would probably lose like 2kg by my vacation in 4 weeks so definitely not reach 66kg like i could with fasting.

Genuinely, judge free, what should I do?

Personal milestone

Today I did something i havent been able to do before.

I m on day 3 out of a 14 day fast, and i had terrible cravings. I always know how it s gonna end, with me hating myself, but it just feels in that moment like you HAVE to give in just because the thoughts are so powerful inside my brain.

People say the first 3 days of a fast are always the hardest, and i didnt get that before, because phisicaly I was fine, but now I get it: it s mentaly that you have to win the battle. Because our boddies are so much more powerful then we think, we just have to also train our mind.

So, I waited half hour, did something distracting, took my sodium and vitamin pills, and now I have never felt more proud of myself. I also looked at a picture of my face back when i was so fat, then looked in the mirror and refused to give up what i worked for and what I have now.

Phisicaly I am doing so well, I have energy and I m not even hungry, maybe just once a day that i actually feel the hunger.

So, to anyone feeling like their mentality is making them weaker, dragging them down, just know you will feel so much better once lucidity comes in

Thanks for all the awesome stories on this sub❤️

The first 3 days

Anyone else feel like the first 3 days of a fast are just to go through the motions? Like, people say they re the hardest to go through but honestly they re just boring.

And you dont see that crazy of a change in your body, energy isnt crazy...

Anyhow just woke up on day 3 of my fast and I literally slept an extra hour by accident, DID NOT hear my 2 alarms because every time day 3 hits my body just hits this all around peace and harmony in the way it s working, it s beautiful

I wake up and think: "I am clean, i feel like everything is peaceful"

Mental clarity?

Hello!

So, I m 24 hrs into a 14 day fast.

I have just realised that the day my fasting ends, but before my eating period, i have to take my Cambridge exam, B2 level. Now, english I can speak better then my native language, but i think taking any test could be challenging when you ve been fasting for 2 weeks.

Has anyone completed a 14 day fast, and if so how did you feel by the end? I could just do a shorter one but I wont, because i said i would do it and I m not changing the plan mid way

Thank you!

Feeling like myself again, because of fasting

After a long time of hating my body and wanting to change but always failing i ve fallen back in love with fasting

I feel so good when fasting, I ve also noticed when i wake up on my third day i have no pain whatsoever. Like my body is working in complete harmony

I m doing 72 hrs fasting then refeeding on my meintenance. Then repeat.

I already after just a week can fit so well into my clothes that i bought "for when I ll be skinny" but never wore, and feel very confident about where this will take me

Anyone else doing the 3 days refeed cycle?

Can I survive off bananas and dates?

I m pretty lazzy, and i love bananas

I m talking, I could eat 20 a day if calories didnt exist

Can I just live off bananas and dried dates?

Ocasionaly throw in some blueberries or raspberries or seasonal fruit when they come out

I dont have much fat in my carnivore diet and because of that i started seeing black a bit lol when getting up and having low energy

Since I hate fatty meats and only eat lean cuts, also dont like butter, I chose some all natural cheese cause that s pretty delicious

Anyone else like cheese in their carnivore diet?

Hi! Been doing carnivore for 3 days, today is my 4th

These 3 days I ate max 1000 calories 100g of protein, lost 0.8kg

Today i feel weaker then usual probably because of my intake

For refference, I m a 18yo girl 177cm tall and 72kg

If I eat my meintenance calories, which is 2000 a day, and comes out as 200g of protein a day, will I continue losing weight or just maintain and change body composition?

Some days I might hit 1500 if I m less hungry or even 1200

Was just wondering because many people have reported losing weight on their meintenance calories

Thanks!

I hope it s not too many calories, but it s weird cause i didnt get really full after this, just normally satiated

The pasta is konjac noodles, like 20 calories for it all, plus bolognese sauce, 360 cals for the whole thing

Then mom made a vegetable soup (that yellow color is from egg, not oil)

And then had some cucumber salad and Green onions with chicken and rice

Hi y all!

Background of binging and starving over here, but my weight is stable right now after dropping the bloat, had a bad couple of days but i m done with all that

Had a coffee this morning, specificaly a 400ml frappe with caramel and wipped cream, my favorite

And going to have dinner in a bit

My question is, should I continue like this since it s so easy?

Or make a sacrifice and cut the coffee, it containing like max 400calories I estimate and obv down the road costing me some progress?
