Did external pressure play a major role in the collapse of the Soviet Union?"

Was external pressure from the west as significant of a fact as Gorbachev's reforms. It's a common idea that Gorbachev's economic reforms was the catalyst. A lot of Marxist would argue that the Soviet Union ultimately succumbed to external pressure. Of course Marxist would have their own biases but so does everybody but is there any validity to their claim?

I kinda agree with the vox populi not gonna lie.

I've seen a lot of people hate them and I get it. I do think their anti war stuff is pretty stupid but I do kinda understand where it is coming from even if I don't think they're right. I believe the general population would gain from their economic policies being implemented they're just not great to create ever lasting peace.

Red wolf of radagon hate post

I hate you. I hate you with every bone in my body. I hate you more than I have ever hated anything. It infuriates me to think that you might have experienced joy once in your life. I hate everything about your attacks, and I hate that I never have time to heal. You aren't the most challenging boss, but you are definitely the most frustrating."
