While the company has historically been viewed as a cyclical semiconductor manufacturer whose performance rose and fell with DRAM and NAND pricing, its growing leadership in high-bandwidth memory (HBM) has changed that narrative. HBM is an essential component in AI accelerators used by companies such as NVIDIA and major hyperscale cloud providers, and it commands significantly higher margins than traditional memory products. With production continuing to ramp and demand still exceeding supply, Micron expects favorable industry conditions to extend through and beyond 2028, possibly until 2030.

Micron’s financial performance reflects this shift. Rather than relying on expectations of future AI adoption, the company is already generating exceptional earnings from current demand. Recent guidance points to record revenue, strong profitability, continued earnings-per-share growth, and increased visibility through long-term customer agreements and HBM production commitments. This is to all those posts I keep seeing “Should I buy at $1200” “Should I buy at $1150” “Should I buy at $1100”, the opportunity to buy at $1000 or potentially even a little lower is here. So stop complaining and be grateful if you haven’t gotten in yet.

What many of us suspected occurred today just before market open: META will be selling the excess capacity it built out. Neoclouds and semis are down big on this news while META is poised for a massive gap up, seems to also be giving a lift to some of the hyperscalers as well (MSFT in particular).

What are everyone’s feelings about this news?

TLDR: Old Micron = roller coaster (deep ups and deep downs)
New Micron = still a roller coaster, but on a higher baseline track, fewer extreme drops and stronger recoveries

Think of Micron like a big apple farm that sells apples, and the stock price is how much people are willing to pay for that farm.

Micron still goes through cycles because sometimes there are too many apples and sometimes there are not enough. In the past, the cycle was very extreme. The farmers would grow too many apples when prices were high, then suddenly there would be way too many apples, so prices would crash. After that, it took a long time for everything to recover.

Now imagine “consolidation” as a time when the apple price stops moving a lot. The farm already had a big run-up in price, but then it starts trading in a tight range, like it keeps selling around the same price for a while. This happens because people are not sure yet if things will get better or worse, so buyers and sellers are kind of balanced. Nobody is pushing the price strongly up or down.

During consolidation, the market is basically waiting. It’s like people are watching the apple farm and saying, “Are apples really going to become scarce again, or is this just temporary?” So the price just moves sideways while everyone waits for confirmation.

Micron’s consolidation phases can last longer because it is a very “macro” apple farm. Everyone watches it closely, and people are very cautious because they remember past times when apple prices crashed hard. So even when things start improving, investors wait longer before believing it is real. That makes the sideways waiting period longer.
In the past, the cycles were more violent, so after a big move, the price would either crash quickly or spike quickly. Now, because farmers are better at controlling how many apples they grow and because there are more steady buyers (like AI demand in the background), the price doesn’t swing as wildly. Instead, it moves up, then pauses in longer consolidation, then slowly moves again.

So in simple terms, consolidation is like the apple farm price standing still for a while after a big move, while everyone waits to see what the next harvest will be like. And Micron has longer consolidation because people take more time to trust that the new harvest (cycle) is really strong before bidding the price up again.

In Canada, I switched from Esso to Chevron and I noticed that accelerating feels noticeably smoother. Any explanation why?

We were dating each other for about 5 months, and things were great except for the fact that I was being unsure and avoidant. We talked about it together and I made it clear that I didn’t know why I was feeling like this and that there was something wrong with me and not her. Eventually after 3-4 months, I told her that I don’t feel like I’m ready for a relationship but I still want to see her, to which she agreed. During this time, I started to pull away from intimacy because I didn’t want us to have a false sense of connection that I believe should be reserved for couples. At the end, she told me that she thought it was best for us to stop talking because we weren’t on the same page anymore and I agreed with her.

It’s been 3 months since then and I realised that during the past 3 months, I’ve been avoiding processing my feelings for her by being busy with work, exercising multiple hours a day and hanging out with my friends and family. So i decided to sent her a text, taking accountability for the things I did wrong and looking to see if we can reconnect again. Am I wrong for this?

I was supposed to have 2mg of reta left to finish my cut (1mg every 6 days). I go to pin my reta like usual and as I’m pulling the syringe out it bends slightly. Regardless, I try to pin and it hurts like a MF and won’t penetrate my skin. So i go to fill a new syringe but when i put the stopper back in it creates a vacuum and shoots my 1mg of reta out 😭. Safe to say this is my last week of reta on the cut 💀✌️. Around 8 weeks of reta I went from 5’10 185lbs 22% bf to 167lbs 15% bf. Overall, my experience with reta was great and I look forward to get rid of the anhedonia over the next few weeks!

I’ve come to the realisation i should probably use heat to mold my front lip so that it fits my bumper slightly better. Any tips are appreciated!
