For me, I am giving a short answer, I feel as though Tsar Nicholas had the potential to be a great leader, he was also a great father, unlike many monarchs throughout history. His fathers death happening earlier than it should have was also a bad card out of the many he was dealt, as he said it himself, He didnt know the business of ruling. His death along with the rest of his family at the hands of the Bolsheviks was undeserved and the Soviet Union was worse in my eyes. I do not think Nicholas II was perfect, he had flaws, and did bad things, but he had the potential to be a great Tsar, but that potential was stolen from him.
