According to James Proctor's sources, John Alite's codefendant, Stephen Locrotondo has turned rat on him (and there's multiple hours of video and audio)...

Sounds like he was eating government cheese before the arrests. There's no loyalty any more.

Also, Don Alite is apparently in GenPop and doing ok.

Do the Black Dragons/Kokuryu-kai still exist as an organization?

I remember a few years ago that there was a lawsuit over who actually owned the name. Does anyone know if they still exist in any meaningful way?

Why is Gene publicly talking about how dangerous and scary John Alite was, when he's currently facing criminal charges? Isn't John supposed to be his friend?

This is not helping.

I didn't see this, but apparently (according to James Proctor), Gene was also talking about how John is still down with the Albanian mob.

Did John Alite & Joey Merlino do a Hit Together? Things are Getting Crazy! - James Proctor is skeptical

He also says that it's not cool for Gene Borrello to go on Dom's stream and claim that Alite is still down with the Albanian mob - that the guy is supposed to be his friend and what the hell is he doing putting that out there when the guy's already facing charges?

Also an update on Jeff Nadu being banned from all the Geneovse clubs in New Jersey - apparently Jeff went on Fat Bald Sicilian's stream, denied it - and said that he's thinking of taking legal action.

Dom Cicale claims that Jeff Nadu is banned from all Genovese-owned clubs in New Jersey, thanks to Hippie Zanfardino - you reckon this is true?

I watched some of his livestream tonight and he was saying that. Gene Borrello was on too, saying that Jeff had been in touch with him telling him to tell Dom that this isn't true.

This sounds utterly ridiculous and I don't believe it myself. But does anyone here have any thoughts/insight?

Short video of John Alite's bail hearing yesterday. The prosecutor(?) is really ripping into him

Thanks to u/maskofdybala for posting this in the other thread, btw. That's where I saw it.

Mob hitman turned N.J. councilman will stay jailed awaiting loansharking trial

More info in this article. These are the most interesting parts.

> Alite told his borrowers he could slip back into his old ways easily, warning one victim he could “flip like a switch” into the life of crime he’s said publicly he left behind, a state prosecutor said at the 63-year-old’s bail hearing in Superior Court of Passaic County Wednesday.

> “Don’t think that it can’t happen to you,” Alite allegedly said.

> He even threatened his co-defendant, Stephen Locrotondo, a man he’d known for 45 years, with a “baseball bat across the head,” Deputy Attorney General Heather Hausleben said.

> Increasingly angry that money was not being paid, Alite said in a phone call that prosecutors have: “I says yous are treating me like a sucker, because I’m different than I used to be. But I’m not. I warned you last time, I’m the same motherfu----, I just don’t want to be that motherfu----.”

and

> Barnes, on countering Hausleben’s claims, said another call prosecutors have show Alite, frustrated that the agreed-upon loan payments were not being made, said, “You tell him, John said the old him would come crack your f---ing head. The new him is going to hire a lawyer, a goddamn lawyer, and send him a legal letter.”

> His client is a businessman who sells memorabilia, like signed baseball bats, has acted in movies, and legally loans people money via lawyers, Barnes said.

> When they fail to pay, he hires more lawyers and files legal actions in court, which he did as recently as earlier this year in Monmouth County, Barnes said.

> He does not resort to violence, and none of the state’s allegations, Barnes and Anton said, show Alite laying a finger on anyone.

> Alite hasn’t had a criminal charge in 15 years — “not so much as a parking ticket.” Barnes said.

and

> Hausleben said the case against Alite began in late 2024, when he agreed to lend the two victims $115,000 over two loans. The first, $50,000, was drawn up with a 7% monthly interest rate, but the way it was structured, it amounted to 84% annually and 125% compounded – way above legal limits.

> The men sought out an associate of Alite and Locrotondo, who funded the loans via his wife’s company. Alite then paid Locrotondo the amount issued from his wife’s company.

> The $115,000 loan was later reduced to $70,000 via payments, but the victims paid $121,000 on the loan without satisfying it. And in June of this year, the $70,000 amount had ballooned to Alite wanting a total payment of $255,000.

> One of the victims then borrowed another $150,000 from Alite and Locrotondo and secured the deal with his Florida condominium. When that person fell behind, Alite later assumed ownership by forcing the man to sign over the deed, which he did by forging his cancer-stricken wife’s signature.

Ex-mobster, now a councilman in his hometown, to make court appearance on June 24 - New Jersey Globe

"His alleged accomplice, Stephen Locrotondo, has already been released."

Hmmm. Thoughts? 🐀?

Proctor was going over this before. Confessed murderer with links to organized crime and multiple violent felonies. Who has previously jumped bail and fled the country. If somehow he gets bond, it'll be massive. Does that sound about right to you guys?

Lol, Vlad heard that Alite got arrested, so he just reuploaded their old interview...

Hahaha. Go get that bread, Vlad.

He's like those music sellers who hear that a rockstar just died, or murdered someone - and immediately doubles their prices for his records.

Gene Borrello says that his name has come up in one of the indictments related to John Alite - but that this is only because they used to do a podcast together and that he will absolutely never betray John

I didn't see him mentioned in the indictment I posted earlier on, so maybe there's more stuff out there.

Maybe they're trying to do a "look, he hangs around with known felons - he's not a good guy" thing with regards to his bail.

John Alite's full indictment (originally posted by James Proctor)

Most of the stuff we've already heard about, but apparently the cops found a bag of steroids at his house with no valid prescription. So that's getting added to the list of charges too.
