What is the overall status quo of using boosts in 2026?

I took a break from this game around 2022 and came back this year. I remember people would get really angry and toxic if you used a boost item. Does this still exist in 2026?

Is CoV incredibly laggy for anyone else?

On almost every other tower in the game, I get 300+ fps, but for some reason my fps just tanks on CoV, and I have no idea why. It has made the level borderline unplayable.

BSS Isn't fun anymore

I'm sure this idea is incredibly redundant, but I just want to get my point out here. The game has become extremely boring, I understand the point of a simulator is repetition, but when you repeat something thousands of times with little to no progress, it becomes boring.

If you don't use a macro, go blue early, and have an optimal hive you won't make much progression, and the game will be boring.

I also believe the second wave of mythic bees killed the game. Before the introduction of precise bee and buoyant bee, white hives (in general) were the best, but not by the largest margin. Nowadays, if you don't make a blue hive, you're just going to suffer.

Another big problem is the creator, Onett himself. The game sometimes gets updated once a year, and this update (usually for Christmas) is uncreative as it reuses assets from a previous event, adds uninteresting new features, extremely difficult quests that may scare away new or returning players, and overall just feeling like a cash grab for Onett.

Another thing that I think hurt this game a lot was crafting. In hindsight, crafting isn't a terrible idea, but the requirements for a lot of items are incredibly frustrating to get. For example, getting 5 trillion honey alone is a huge task for an endgame tool, but on top of you, you need many other resources. Other simulators usually just require you to have the currency to unlock better stuff. Also, the newer gear you unlock is powerful, but for the most part, it is just a small upgrade (unless you're blue).

TL;DR the game isn't fun anymore because power creep and a greedy/lazy dev.

oh my god bruh

So the scores for the MMLP2 are 69 and 67 on AOTY. I thought this was kinda funny. Of course, MMLP2 is way better than that!

I apologize if my previous post upset anyone. It was not my intention.

I feel obligated to post this here, and I truly am sorry if I offended anyone. I was trying to make a guide for avatars, which you truly do not have to abide by. It was solely for fun. In addition, I apologize if it came off as sexists in any shape or form. It was truly not my intention.

And I should mention that I'm not sexist nor homophobic. I grew up very liberal, and I am an open-minded person. Also, I apologize if any of my replies came off as rude. My first thought of action was to defend the points I made in my post (whether they were right or wrong).

Thank you for your understanding.
