Dey say.....................

Yes, this is the "even with computers " bit. I feel the rest of the greater part of this diatribe is severely underrated.

I've seen it a million times but it's so fucking genius cuz with all the tension and bad blood circulating in the room the audience is just waiting for relief and when Chrissy finally breaks the silence and launches in with "Dey say....", the first thing I ever thought was "aw he's gonna say something real sweet and insightful that wraps it all up with a neat little bow", but then he just rambles on and on and on like a stoned idiot LOL

Is this not Sopranos in a nutshell? One big nothing?

Season 13 is looking like they jumped the shark for me

First time watcher of TNG

I know there's a lot of opinions and people think the shark was jumped way before this, but I've been surprisingly happy with the later classes. But I'm only 5 episodes into season 13 and the writing seems suddenly very bad.

Tell me it gets better because I still got almost 70 episodes to go! lol

Midget Auto Racing

Can we just take a minute and give Tony some props for not cracking a single joke while he was at the midget auto raceway? I mean they were right there driving around and and around. They were practically goading Tony at every pass.

But he kept his cool. He extended them the same courtesy he would a crack addict.

I can't help think it's because he was in the good grace and classy style of that hottie, Fran Feldstein, and he wanted to impress her.

"You're a good boy, Anthony"

At first I took this comment to reflect senility on Jr's part, because hes speaking to Carter when he says it. But after a few watches I realized this was one of those classic Sopranos subconscious moments where the truth comes out, unintentionally....you know....like the horse and Traci....

Jr. always loved and was proud of Tony but he just couldn't express it. It took the personification of another (and a bit of senility) to bring out the truth. It's touching, in a sad way. (and even sadder when Carter eventually feels betrayed and attacks Jr, who is then left truly all alone in the world)

OK what's up with Nancy? (Tony B's girl) Whatever happened there?

First of all she's cute. WTF is she doing writing criminals in jail? She could do way better than that.

I get the sense there was more meant for her in the show but maybe it was cut out. Her very last scene she says "when I think of myself waiting outside that prison I wanted to vomit. I'm sick. I'm evil." And then that's it.

Like WTF! How can David Chase just leave us hanging with that?

Next thing we know she's just an aforementioned character. Like she was nobody. David Chase looked at us in the eyes and treated us like a fuckin' jerk. Like we was never nothin to him...oh sorry, wrong story....

What do you think Kennedy and Heidi did after the accident?

Those two needed their own spinnoff show. The entire first season would just be about their lives with the season finale being the accident.
