Zwift Ride and AppleTV

Hello,
I’m considering purchasing a Zwift Ride to replace my Peloton. I’d like to be able to use it with my AppleTV which is connected to my big OLED tv in my basement. I would need to be able to connect the trainer and my Polar H10 chest strap. Will this require the use of the companion app and if so, how has that been working out? Does it work flawlessly or are there issues? I only ask because I watched an old video with DCR and he mentioned problems using the ATV with the companion app. I’m hoping those issues have since been ironed out. Thank you.

PACs for how long post SVT ablation?

Hello,
I had an ablation on 5/12 and 3 SVTs were ablated. The surgery was performed by Dr. Andrea Natale. He also performed my afib ablation back in 2019. As of recently, I’m starting to notice periods of PACs, 1-2 per minute. This isn’t constant, just periodically. Is it still reasonable to think that I going through the healing process and that these could subside over the upcoming months? I’m currently right at around 3-months so I wasn’t sure if my ablations should be 100% healed at this stage. I’d be interested to hear about your experience. Thanks.

Timeline for Pro update?

Just recently picked up the Helio Strap Pro as the standard version wasn’t available to me. Does anyone know what the timeline looks like for updates for this model? Can we expect one soon? Thanks.

Resting HR calculation?

Is Bevel’s RHR calculation actually your average sleeping HR? It clearly doesn’t seem to be your lowest average sustained HR over a period of time such as 30 minutes, etc. Thanks.

Helio Strap Pro

Hello,
Anyone currently using the new Pro model? If so, how do you like it? Can you recommend any 3rd party bands for the wrist or is the stock wrist band comfortable? I’m thinking of ordering one to replace my Balance 2 as I’m currently wearing my Garmin watch again and I’d prefer not to wear two watches.

Ode 2 grind setting?

Hello,
Approximately what grind setting should I be using when brewing 300ml of light roast coffee using an Ode 2 grinder and brewing in a KBGV Select? I was previously using a setting of 5 when brewing in my Fellow Aiden. Thank you.

3rd party band for B2?

Hello,
Can someone recommend a comfortable 3rd party nylon/velcro band to use with my Balance 2? I have the nylon band from Amazfit but I’m not a fan to be honest. It’s not very soft and contains a metal buckle that can dig into my wrist. Thanks.

Logging strength training workout?

Hello,
Can someone please provide me detailed steps for easily tracking a handful of strength training exercises so that I receive the proper strain credit? I’m trying to avoid having to enter reps/sets/weight during the actual session. I’d like to be able to just focus on the workout and I’m ok with adding all the info at the end. I’m also ok with creating the strength training workout in advance if that’ll save me some time at the end. How are you all tracking your lifting sessions? Thanks.

HR accuracy on wrist?

Hello,
I’m considering going back to Whoop after taking a year off. I had left originally due to HR instability/inaccuracies when worn on the wrist. I’m not a fan of wearing trackers on my upper arm so please don’t recommend. I’m currently wearing a Fitbit Air in addition to a Garmin, and although the Google Health app is complete crap when it comes to activity tracking, the HR sensor is highly accurate. I’ve compared to my Garmin paired with a polar strap during multiple workouts and it’s generally spot on. (Very impressive) For those of you wearing a Whoop on your wrist, how are you finding the accuracy? Are you still seeing these phantom workouts or any other instability issues with the tracker? I’m curious if any of these issues have been addressed via software over the past year. Thank you.

AZM Broken

Has anyone noticed that the active zone minute calculation is broken? Google is supposed to allocate 1 AZM per 1 minute in your moderate HR zone. I just performed my 1st workout of the day and the workout indicates that I spent 20 minutes in my moderate HR zone yet it only assigned 14 active zone minutes! Also, when I review how the AZM were allocated, it indicates that all minutes were allocated via other and none from exercise! This was a manually activated treadmill workout from within the app. I’ve seen this behavior numerous times now. This feature is clearly broken. I’d recommend that all of you try and reconcile this metric after an exercise or at the end of the day. For me, it never adds up and the minutes are always assigned via other and never from exercise. Yet another bug to add to the list.

Lost Bluetooth connectivity

I just lost Bluetooth connectivity from my iPhone to my Fitbit Air! This is the first time this has happened. The Air was charged to 100% earlier this morning. I’ve tried restarting the app, restarting the iPhone, placing the Air back on the charger, etc, but no luck. I get “connection unsuccessful. Make sure the google Fitbit air is turned on and in range” Any suggestions? Is there a process for repairing? Thank you!

Update: Ended up resolving issue by following instructions for restarting the Fitbit Air. (While attached to charger) since I had already removed from iPhone Bluetooth settings and disconnecting from app, I just stepped through the pairing process again after restarting the device and this time it discovered it without issue. All my data is available.

Logout from the app?

What is the official way to logout and login to the Google Heath app? Doesn’t seem clearly obvious. I’m trying to address the issue of the sleep score not being recorded. Thank you.

Integration with Apple Health

Hello,
Are any of you using other non-Fitbit devices that are logging to Apple Health and being successfully imported into Google Health? If so, how is prioritizing the data? Is it merging the data with the FB Air data, prioritizing one over the other, allowing you to view/use whatever source you prefer, etc.? Thank you.

Workouts from Apple Health?

I know it’s still early but has anyone had any luck with Google Health importing in a workout from Apple Health? I have the GH app synced up with Apple Health with all the necessary permissions and I can see my Peloton workout in Apple Health from earlier but GH is not importing it. I’ve tried restarting the app, etc but no luck. The functionality seems to be broke for me unfortunately. Thanks.

Mexican Restaurant?

Hello,
My wife and I are currently in Austin visiting. We’re staying just off E 51st Street a couple mile outside of downtown. Can someone please recommend a great Mexican restaurant outside of downtown within 5 miles or less from us? We’re staying at the Residence Inn University location I believe. Thank you!
