Strictly statues are a wasteful expenditure to start with compared to libraries.

NTR is a commercial actor and a CM in his later life and by the end of his term became a caste icon.

Why does he need a statue when we have our own heros like Alluri Sitarama Raju, Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, Pingali Venkayya, Potti Sreeramulu, and Durgabai Deshmukh.

Why not build several public libraries on any of these real legends names?

He deserves no statue outside of his party offices, certainly not in capital of Andhra given his zero contribution.

While I like the idea of placing educated candidates as front runners. We have seen how inept the current government is and was in the past. So why not PK chart his own path, be bold and offer something Andhra never thought of, beyond what the established parties have been offering historically.
