Like what is this magical baiting everyone seems to be doing? Do you guys just stand there and telepathically transmit aura to make the CD player use bubble or something.

It’s not even semantics, it’s just not how it works and it’s misleading. You take the risk and go in, use your own resources, and provide enough threat to where they are forced to use things they would prefer to keep in order to save themselves, and hopefully live if you are skilled enough and lucky enough. It’s just basic support knowledge to save your cooldowns for when you need them against dive. What is there to be ‘baited’ by other than an actual threat?

I play a lot of dive and people just end up stacking and fully obsessing over me and I like to swap off cos it’s just not worth the stress and even if I could get value I prefer to just play the video game

I missed the season where they nerfed him. The season prior was great. People would realise they wanted to stack and I’d just go moon knight and spam

I know a lot of you have historically been adventurous and like to parkour and ankh the backline and generally just be b*stards, but what I’m referring to is those matchups with the thing and dino as tanks and a punisher and Bucky main just sitting there holding m1. I used to just swap moon knight and happily just piss them off a different way

Why are people in that comment section banging on about racism. The point is that black panther is extremely difficult to play and permanently treated like shit and has been outright cucked by a hero that is literally mindless. Like actual fully defined no skill.

The joke IS funny. It is an outright funny joke. The reason it’s not funny any more is that it is making light of how the effort you put in to play this hero gets cucked by something that is completely effortless and that absolutely should not be in the game.

Someone with 1000 hours on this hero being completely unable to play the game because of some clown selecting this hero is absolutely not in any way funny

I do not play bp, I am not looking to burst people and delete supports. That is no offence to bp players, but that is simply not why I loved this character. The whole beauty of this character was in being involved, and juking and manipulating 4 braindead zombies who can’t do anything other than sit in a big group, and can’t even do that.

I don’t want the Bucky otp to turn around and have his support dead, I want him to turn around and see me, miss me five times, leave with invis, then come back and make him watch the supports he is simping for get whipped to death while he got negative value.

The playstyle of hoping they have a big tank to farm grabs off and then setting up, then trying to land a grab on a support and go for a burst assassination is straight up BORING. People said this character was like BP when she came out, when she was nothing like him. Now she actually plays like him - setup, look for quick burst assassination

Literally just revert this character to her full initial state and intended design

She was designed the way she was designed for a reason and she was beautiful. Playable or not, better or worse she is more boring now

The number of wild teamups in the game is astounding. But pro teams are still playing nothing more than front to back gun shooting, running the same bans and same styles. The adaptation in pro play has literally just been ‘hey, x can shoot faster and y can heal more’

What about things like the invis teamup? She can turn the entire team invisible, and that could be used to fake out the enemy team as to where you’re whole team is routing, or to get a dive in an amazing position.

What about torch thing? If you manage to drop the thing on top of two supports, they are stunned for 1 second and absolutely dead to a torch slam.

Where are the teams TRYING NEW THINGS. They have the perfect place to coordinate and put new strategies on display and they have explored nothing.

In my opinion what was so great about YWL is that they completely exposed almost the entire pro scene as rigid, unimaginative, and generally unaware and panicky noobs. For me that is fully on display at the moment.

I genuinely don’t know how she became known as an anti dive support, or if this is talked about here. If I am on daredevil I am going to be dashing all over the place. It is unlikely you are going to keep track of me in the first place. Even if you charmed me, there is little chance you’re going to be able to make anything stick even with peel. If you chase me you’ll die. If you don’t get out of melee form when I have created distance you will not be healing anyone. After that you’ve lost the cooldown. Black cat is a similar thing. Generally, I have 1 dash to look out for, and if that misses, which it’s likely to, melee form is gone, and she is essentially just a main support with low healing.

It’s one thing to play against a solo venom or cap but against the hyper mobile dps options she is simply worse than every main support against dive. I have no hesitation to go in on her.

In my opinion this is an out and out dive support. There is a reason she can tp through walls to people, and a reason her ult gives cc immunity. You can do what you can to keep your tanks up, and then the moment you see someone in a good position to jump on a backline, you can instantly tp to them and support that player.

Get active.

This is significantly stronger than anything dive has ever had. In my opinion the developers are playing you.

Can’t wait. Never gonna be instantly bannable by a rocket otp ever again.

These people don’t understand how the character even worked. They are just saying clueless emotional tropes with no idea what is even occurring.

For the record, he was forced out of his waiting spot by the strange. Because he used his grapple to regain fury, and it was not a good time to start fighting, I imagine his plan was to dash on the Namor, and immediately righteous cross upwards and wall climb the rest of the way to the cover near the health pack, or use another throw/cross depending on how much damage he was taking.

Now I am talking gibberish to these people, and probably a few daredevil players too, but the point is they are all talking about how he is trying to 1v4 when he is TRYING TO LEAVE. If he was trying to go in, he would be on the supports under the bridge! Not a Namor who’s also getting healed by two people! They still have no idea what this character even does!

And even so, daredevil, or any dive, their entire purpose to be able to go in 1v4!!! There are good times/places and bad times/places to go in but the bucky and Phoenix players sitting in the backline all game are not going to leave when you go in!

It is not even relevant to the purpose of the video, which was interesting, that got completely derailed!

This character is cooked. We literally have no playable skill characters directly because of these people proving themselves inept over and over, and we have S tier morons getting 15 upvotes on the daredevil Reddit for saying zombie hating gibberish after they ruined the character because they were bad and lazy players! Every other bot comment is getting SUPPORTED and left there. It’s actually offensive they get to fester here!

So, please, can we fix the moderation here or what?

I love her, and she is effective, but whether you are having success in your rank or not, succeeding in learning her or not, just understand that this character is simply not what people are saying she is. They will complain about anything that isn’t hitscan, forever, rather than trying to adapt. Believe me. They will never accept dying to anything that doesn’t stand on main and hold m1. Ever.

You do not need to agree with them or be moved by their opinion in any way, or post here about how she needs to be balanced, or feel inferior in your gameplay because people tell you she is OP.

We have received two playable melee dps all time, and if you are not a larper you’ll know that daredevil is also absolutely not what people are saying he is either, because of the way they nerfed him. Whether it happens or not I don’t know, but I do not think we should be accepting of that happening to another melee dps simply because Phoenix players want to press m1 for the duration of marvel rivals.

if she's going to be this untouchable, undetectable, untraceable, and just be black panther/invis girl hybrid on steroids, they need to make her have like 100HP or some shit. in the right hands, she's absolutely broken. and its not even the fact that she can kill, its the fact that she can just exist in your backline all game making you constantly have to waste time looking in directions, burning abilities when she can just go invisible to waste your shit.. the amount of value she singlehandedly provides to a team whilst being lethal is so fucking game breaking, its crazy that she doesn't get more hate than she does..

when you have heroes like wanda and namor who are literally designed to counterplay high mobility heroes who depend on it for suvivability.. and even they struggle within their design, you now have a real fundamental issue happening.

The character with zero risk from anything, that can fly wherever he wants, has iframes

But also hitscan/backline dps players

The character is not good. Actually, she is pretty straight up bad. She is especially not good in a solo queue setting with no plan behind her, and I am all but certain pro teams will not be able to formulate ways to use her either.

Hopefully, after that time, and people understand that the character is bad, we can reflect on what is actually wrong with this community. It really will be a gift, that of all the characters they could’ve picked to say was OP, they picked this one. Selecting her and their reasons for it PERFECTLY highlights everything that is wrong with the playerbase

Don’t get me wrong, I love her, I will play her regardless, but she is just not a good character, so let’s ignore and come back in a month or two
