i see every, single, thing you type :)
“bomb that kills all ___” “4chan slur number 1” “4chan slur number 2” “4chan slur number 3” “wishes the most abhorrent violence occurring to you while describing it in full detail and calling you 4chan slur” is this just, what we specifically are expected to face coming from the trans community? like everyday? genuinely, what prompted TRFs to become individuals this hateful that they create thousands upon thousands of slurs down to even targeting the most specific identities possible in the trans community. not even other groups that claim to be “progressive” but aren’t actually progressive do that even at the level that they do. these fuckers are fascists. the problem is that you can’t really escape them anytime you hop on the internet. like what do you even do. when will stuff change? how do we prompt change? is what we’re doing not enough? i feel the suffering has taken a toll on me that i feel i have little to no energy to go on atp. neither society or the trans community are safe spaces, both are plagued with bioessentialist misogyny to hell and back, and it seems like the trans community is not wanting to listen on getting anywhere near dismantling it because they believe they are immune from being horrible fascist misogynists or some shit that are constantly driving ppl to suicide because of having to share a community with them. but like genuinely what do you even do at this point as someone who doesn’t even have a queer community irl so you’re stuck having to see ppl that want you dead and hope other horrible things happen to you all because of bioessentialist reasons, over, and over, and over again
once you notice one instance of it and put a name to it, you can’t see the world the same anymore, everything just turns into insane noise due to how rife this misogyny is within it and the fact you can’t escape it no matter where you go, thinking that taking refuge in the trans community means it will be any different from the outside world. its the prime force driving the transandrophobia, exorsexism, intersexism, etc, all the discrimination directed at hyperinvisible trans ppl by the trans community itself that you see today. this bioessentialist/corrective misogynistic world that has been this way for 6000+ years now and counting, downplaying every aspect of the existence of individuals born into this world because of it, wasting no time in immediately shutting down the possibility of any oppression they face because they are “not to be taken seriously” because of what? because ppl that have any other genitalia than this world’s decision of what the “default” one is for some reason are the “stupid dumb delusional inferior non-existent” kind and hence can never possibly be anything in life ever, nor can be considered humans to begin with, but an insentient pile of that genitalia as a result of just being born with it?
i deleted the comment now, if i resend it with their @ attached is that the way to reply to text-based reblogs?
or am i supposed to reblog their reblog itself to reply?
what do ppl usually do?
so i’m familiar with:
• waterboarding, chosing the water filter if you don’t agree with something
•and then there’s a rainbow filter ppl use too? but what does it exactly mean i’m not sure
also i have a question, i wanna add a screenshot of a post i made but to not confuse others i wanna put like a filter to show that it’s mine, can i put like a purple/pinkish hue filter on top of it (colors aligning with my blog). that hue doesn’t have a meaning i’m not aware of right?
rather new to tumblr and wondering!
not to be confused with the separate category used to describe identities like transgender woman/man, nonbinary, agender, genderfluid etc
there’s a distinction between these two things but idk what it’s called
i’ve checked a bunch of social platforms at this point and it truly feels that compared to other identities nonbinary lesbians really ended up with the shortest end of the stick. i always get the urge to just go back to to nonbinary communities because of how alienating this binary world can be wherever i look, but their lesbophobia and general lack of understanding regarding even the basics of lesbianism is insane. so then back do i swing to lesbian communities, but then the binary-normativity of the community hits me again like a truck making me remember i’m not truly welcome in these spaces and even if i am, its still incredibly alienating seeing how “wlw”-oriented convos are and offers very little room for gender diverse lesbians and almost nothing about love between them. i see this side a lot on twitter and am kinda fed up rlly, i feel very little connection to their version of lesbianism if thats all it’s about, and the nonbinary community there is essentially non-existent what with the rampant exorsexism leaving no room for enby folks like us. its been absolutely awful, so i’ve been starting to finally withdraw
only recently i’ve been getting into tumblr and its been absolutely great for the most part with regards to the nonbinary community, finally seeing the discussions i’ve always wondered about in my head but had no community to talk to about, finally seeing an actual community for trans ppl who arent transmasc/transfem like me (transneutral, transandrogynous, transxenine folks etc), but when it comes to understanding of the lesbian community, thats when it all falls apart. a lot of non-lesbian enbies there genuinely don’t understand a thing about lesbianism and still in this day and age gender lesbianism as “wlw” and genuinely unironically believe that nonbinary lesbians are just a ‘contradicting label’ “but thats okay because all labels are valid cuz we don’t care about the actual history behind a lot of labels and what could count as harmful or not to them” when lesbian history has had trans gender diverse ppl since the very beginning. also almost no nonbinary lesbian community there so i feel that’s telling lol (unless i’m wrong and if anyone knows what the sphere there is called please lmk,, i found trixic but ppl there define it as nonbinary ppl attracted to women so its like. yeah im good i’d rather stick to the community with the long-established genderqueer history anyway)
is being an individual outside of the binary while also being exclusively not attracted and centered around men the rarest thing in the earth apparently that it would grant you almost no community for people that relate to you. twitter has unfortunately been the best for me so far in terms of an active lesbian community that’s well-versed about their history but yeah i rlly wanna use that as little as possible if possible. have y’all had luck in seeing spheres for us online anywhere? if so where? cursed am i with having no access to an irl queer community in my country unfortunately
i see so much of this phenomenon in different flavors around the internet but slightly off-topic version i saw recently was from watching clips of a trans girl that goes around interviewing ppl if they support trans rights or not, and in one of the clips she approaches the most visibly genderqueer person and goes up to them with “ma’am” and asks them if they support trans rights, while continuing to throw at them queerphobic and transphobic stereotypes based on their looks for the rest of the interview. my god the obliviousness of these ppl is killing me they truly think they’re the most progressive ppl put on this earth and nothing that comes out of their mouth can automatically be bigotry. is it normal i’m starting to feel an aversion to binary trans people just like the rest of cis society. it feels like no matter where i go i can’t escape this bs
the alienation of never rlly seeing my people has been eating away at me because i’ve honestly tried to go a few years going about these sites as usual without minding the demographic just to be able to use the site itself for art and discussions and stuff, but it just makes it so that all the convos that go on feel like noise to you at some point of time because they really are living in a different world than you, a very binary, and rigidly bigoted one, with no actual established nonbinary community like other trans communities have for example. and it just means that despite how progressive ppl claim to be there, nonbinary ppl will always be the last to ever be mentioned in anything, most times forgotten/straight up debated over/silently agreed upon as non-existent. and im just sick and tired of that and ik there are spaces for us out there, but i just dont know where. has there been spaces for us that i don’t know of where most of our in-depth discussions go similar to how trans women use twitter to have a lot of their talks?
these peeps will binarize a rock if they had to but just gonna play along their game in spaces i have no choice but to confront them, whats the closest to a perfect balance of neutrality to achieve in their eyes that would work the closest in confusing the tf out of em? whether its recommendations for hairstyles, wardrobe pieces, anything of the sort relating to presentation. also if u have recs for neutral/androgynous nonbinary creators in any platform that talk about their experience and how they’re treated resulting from their presentation, or just nonbinary ppl in general that post their own androgy/neu fashions, or any resources anywhere, that would be extremely helpful, all who i’m subscribed to currently is iris olympia. i have combed through pinterest high and low but i’d rather see stuff from actual people’s accounts and more in-depth talk about it. i need direee helppp
so something that includes any expressions except those two mentioned, including: neutral (being neither), androgynous (being both), agenrine, xenine, etc absolutely anything that isn’t solely leaning fem/masc, i wonder if there’s such a word to describe being other than these two most common expression categories? femininity/masculinity ≠ gender so i can’t see ‘gnc’ being used for it, also gnc still is used on masc binary women or fem binary men for example so isn’t the term i’m looking for. (also please no gender identity recommendations in the comments as gender identity≠expression/presentation. thank you :3)
so something that includes all types of expressions besides those like: neutral (being neither), androgynous (being both), etc absolutely anything that isn’t solely leaning fem/masc, i wonder if there’s such a word to describe being other than these two most common expression categories? femininity/masculinity ≠ gender so i can’t see ‘gnc’ being used for it
why are these terms even used for inner-trans community discussions when almost, if not all trans ppl experience the unique combination of transphobia and misogyny, other than to (for some reason) defaultize that only one subsection of the community experiences this misogyny and no one else? is it a silent agreement to look past the rest of the trans community in that none of the issues they face, regardless of the extent of abysmal they are, actually ever existed to begin with?
so not referring expression wise, but just their gender identity itself. and also not necessarily an exclusive term. i am enbian (enby4enby) but noticed that even within that context i still experience that greatly increased preference mainly towards enbies who aren’t solely fem/masc-leaning, and wondering if such a term exists :3
no transfeminism unless all corrective misogyny affected trans people are included, how can someone call something feminism if even feminism in default discusses in depth about corrective/bioessentialist misogyny while the other doesn’t? and especially since it is called transfeminism, it should take a firm stance against exorsexism esp with the constant erasure happening of nonbinary and intersex ppl out of the trans community from both legislation and the community itself. it’s not transfeminism unless its intersectional, including in it progressive ideologies not just centered on one demographic, typically the white, able-bodied one. its not transfeminism, its transfeminism. no transfeminism until ALL trans people are included as we are all victims of the patriarchy, since we are not cis men to have cis man privilege.
ever since seeing these two threads abt the untapped medical potential for nonbinary ppl it prompted my interest in investigating these and wanting to hear more discussions regarding it: https://x.com/spikes\_hideout/status/2039793519896690788?s=46 , https://x.com/unallowedclown/status/1893982503439933775?s=46 .
does anyone know who is more knowledgeable abt this topic know the effects of these alternative hrt options, and can explain what a neutralizing plan(s) could look like?
also, has anyone already experienced these alternative hrt options/know of ppl who have? what were the results (visual or descriptive) you ended up with/seen from others?
also side-note for someone who wants to achieve solely just a deeper voice until reaching the point of complete androgyny + bottom growth and nothing else, could those be achieved by any of those combinations?
so “enbyphobe”/“nonbinaryphobe” is just a total no from me, given how laughed upon those terms are. “transmeds” typically covers a whole lot of ppl who are that but it only mostly applies to those who are trans/allied with trans ppl. and “exorsexist” is the only term i rlly know of that describes that, and i still use it alot to this day, with the micro-problem that it is less well-known, but my slightly bigger issue with it is that it surprisingly sounds too cool to be used to describe a subsection of bigots in this world lol. so yeah i can quickly see that word being used by them in a proud sense and stuff quickly collapsing after that
so these are all the terms i know of off the top of my head, is there a term besides those to apply to ppl in general who are that, regardless if they’re cis bigots or trans? (also isn’t the obvious term that is transphobia, but a term that specifically pertains to prejudice against non-binary trans ppl)
pride month and we’re as invisible as ever which is like cool n all i’m used to this but it still doesn’t stop making the experience all the more worse bc of going to platforms like youtube for example and since its esp pride month, getting bombarded with a million trans (girl) video essays with almost not a single sighting of one nonbinary one. using the search bar or even trying to search outside of youtube to find nonbinary content creators is so fucking bleak. the most i find are still the 5/4 years old youtube videos titled “how to know if you’re nonbinary”. its just like, really. how do other nby ppl besides me feel abt always seeing stuff like that instead of anything else cuz like im wondering are yall content cuz i’d say the content we get is not even sparse, its straight up a drought and almost nothing has been made ever since (unless im looking at the wrong spaces) and it just feels like, really? for being part of the trans community (with the trans community getting bundles and bundles of resources from within the community itself and allies that can be searched anywhere online regarding any possible topic existing ever) we really get jackshit compared to them even though we are literally their neighbors living one apartment floor underneath them, yet all the resources, educations, talks and discussions get delivered to their door. im just rlly wondering, did anyone have any luck finding any nonbinary youtube-essayists, im genuinely starving out here i feel nothing will fill this void until i find any
finally made this lil piece on wplace qatar after the activity of phobes in my country had quieted down a bit (i still feel this is gonna get vandalized by the passing of time but still, im happy that i atleast finally managed to get it done :D)
