Week 6 after chronic and heavy use for 7-8 years in my 20s.

I have to ask. How much of my current emotional state can I still attribute to cannabis withdrawal? I don’t feel urges, cravings, etc, but I can go through mood swings, serious anxiety, etc. My life is objectively stressful outside of the cannabis use, Some brief research tells me that months 3-6 for a heavy user like me could very well be highlighted by these issues due to PAWS, but I’m not sure how much I want to blame my current emotional state on sobriety.

My sleep is mostly fine, I’ve unfortunately lost motivation for things like exercise, which I used to do daily, and focusing on work has become very difficult. But I don’t want to blame everything on abstinence from this plant. What if I need a new job, need to move, etc? I’m reading I should avoid major decisions during months 3-6, or perhaps even longer. But at 42 days clean with no cravings, it feels like I’m blaming some phantom for my problems. I’m just looking for anecdotal advice from fellow leavers at this stage of the quitting process.

I had a brief moment of freedom and happiness about six months ago. Through my own actions, it’s all gone. I wish I was a gambler, or something obviously self-destructive. Instead, I’m just emotional and stupid. Life has quickly become an inescapable nightmare.

My relationship ended. It was long and horrible and she cheated and took money I needed more than her. I used to always have a crush, flirt with women, just generally be bubbly. Nowadays I’m so insecure people literally think I’m deeply autistic or antisocial and treat me with distance or disrespect.

Sometimes it would be nice to just daydream about someone.

Getting a new roof with exterior (polyiso) insulation installed on my home. I will most likely want to move my dual AC+Heat onto the roof at a later date. I’ve only gotten one bid so far, but the roofer said they should just do the roof first and let the HVAC contractor I hire later handle the curb mounting, sealing, etc.

Just wondering if that’s standard / recommended or if I should try to coordinate all at once?
