Anyone watched Pointless for Monday 5th October - Monday 7th October with Vicky

She has got to be taking the mick out of the show:

1st show got 100, for Answering Bruno, when the question states the answer starts with (L)

2nd show got 100, 9 letter answer second word was Man, she didn’t know any answers and guessed Spider-Man, the answer was Demolition Man.

3rd Show got 100, chemical elements that are Alphabetically before Palladium, she answered Potassium.

And she is a Lawyer, surelyyyy this is a comedy thing for them.

Achievement Unlocked (Property Ladder) 22 yrs Old, my 2.5 yr journey

Im going to make this detailed so everything can be understood. This is a 2.5 year journey, very realistic.

WHAT THE PICTURES ARE:

1st is my Graph before I took £22,000 out for my part of a deposit on a house. As you can see, I remained at the same figure for 7 months. This covers £16,500 deposit, £1000 solicitor fees, £5,000 Emergency for life situations.

2nd is my Realised Profit Loss. Anything I was in profit with, I sold. Military Stocks, Electricity Stocks, FTSE All World.

3rd is my Oracle investment, remaining in the account. (Disclaimer, any new money coming into T212 will go only into FTSE All World) This investment is a high conviction, high risk long term hold. Oracle is being looked at very negatively at the moment, Larry hasn’t helped the situation but fundamentally it’s growth prospects are accurate with the change in the world, it’s whether it can complete the intended contracts and produce a healthier cash flow by 2030 that will keep me invested. Depends how the world views Ai as well.

HOW I GOT THIS MUCH MONEY BY 22, MY MENTALITY

First of all, this figure is huge. I understand that less than somewhere near 1% of people my age, have this figure. What’s even more rare, is all the money is from myself. I am currently on £25,500 but with overtime and unsociable hours, it puts me somewhere near £28,000. I have saved religiously since I was 18 where my first wage was £19,300.

Every month my philosophy was invest what I can and then buy what I need, I have borrowed money from friends and family in emergencies, but paid them back within 1 month. I have suffered from not buying a hyped up game, suffered from less take away, not drank alcohol, dropped a friendship group who went clubbing every weekend and got rid of a gambling addiction.

EXPENSES

Rent - £250 a month to parents

Car - £100 a month on a beat up car, also MOT and road tax paid by me. Car was £800 which was gifted to me by my parents.

Pets - £25 a month for insurance and food

Phone - £15 a month, loyal customer so I get Unlimited Data

Subscriptions - Gym, Strava, Disney+, Spotify, Xbox - £60 a month

Rail Card - £100 a month

Holidays - 3 Holidays in 3 years totalling £2500

Clothes I got from TikTok shop as they are super cheap for bulk and no one would ever notice.

T212 INVESTMENTS

Monthly I would invest anywhere from £400-£900, and I would live on whatever was left.

OTHER INVESTMENTS

Bought Physical Gold + Silver from Bullionbypost in 2023, which I sold in 2025 for a profit of £2500

Crypto - £150 profit on Ethereum

PENSIONS

Contributing to company pension which is very good

MY HOUSE

£290,000 listed for, haggled down to £270,000. Monthly mortgage payments £1050. My deposit £16,500, Girlfriend’s deposit £24,500. 60/40 split. She is 3.5 years older, saves just as much as me and in total we have £91,000 in cash.

We took a fixed term for 5 years, looking to pay extra £50 a month to reduce interest over the years.

Note: My Girlfriend has not paid rent or insurance on her car, ever.

CONCLUSION

I have been told that my expenses allow me to save and that I don’t have maturity yet, or bills, or debt or kids. But the people telling me this are out buying the brand new iPhone, or Financing a Car.

I am told constantly that I am lucky, like I’ve discovered a cure.

I have been told I’m a genius by family and friends and that I know what I am doing

People on here have previously claimed I am lying and that things don’t add up.

But this day and age there really is no competition and I have just stuck to the rules of FIRE. (Financial Independence and Retire Early)

I would not make any of this up and my journey has been nothing but hard.

QUESTIONS

Hope this was a good read, please do ask questions if something hasn’t been cleared up.

What supplement had you f***** up that you had to stop taking it?

There has been 2 for me:

Ashwagandha - terrible vivid nightmares which would scare me into believing I wasn’t loved and was being told every night that my life wasn’t worth living. Being stuck in dreams for what felt like hours, and the only way out was to force myself into an extreme episode of sleep paralysis.

Magnesium - changed the time that I took them as taking them in the morning made me unrealistically lazy the rest of the day and feel absolutely drained. (I lost a final in a football/soccer game because I was physically too tired to put any effort in).

What effect did E33 have on you, if any?

As a man, I saw myself in Clea.

I learnt that sometimes the truth hurts and if you don’t accept the truth it will change your behaviour. If you then make decisions out of desperation to prove wrong, you become what you righteously paint. Clea built that hill, died on it and never rolled back down.

Emotion doesn't merely influence our reasoning it can become the lens through which we construct our entire reality. Clea couldn’t recognise what she needed to confront head on and what truths she needed to defend herself from. So she created Nevrons, used Simon and sent her sister into the Canvas.

In the end, Clea became so egotistically righteous that she could no longer see herself as the villain in her own story.

▲ 201 r/Overwatch

Probably already been posted multiple times about D.Mon - I am Master 1 (not that that entitles me to an opinion) but she already needs buffs

Positives:

  • Unbelievably Good Unique Movement
  • Her Ejected form does tons of damage
  • Health Pool is Efficient.
  • Her Ultimate can catch enemy teams off guard -Her subrole enables you to keep pressuring enemies.
  • Can effectively jump in-front of teammates quickly and save them with your shield

Negatives:

  • She feels like a stockier Brigitte (not a bad thing just at the moment I feel Brig offers more value to a team)
  • Her Boosters run out far too quickly
  • The bullet size on the gun is far too small
  • The Shield has very little use other than a secured escape
  • Shield gets shredded, nothing else to support teams frontline, nothing else for her to defend herself -Her forward stab is just not worth pulling yourself out of position and can only really be used in a 1v1 situation
  • Reinhardt or D.VA is the better pick
  • Her Major perks are not as good as Junkerqueen

POV: Level 80 me spotting a Level 3 Lucky Pengullet to imprison inside my Palbox for eternity

▲ 2.3k r/Palworld

Palworld content creators wind me up - they turn up their game modifiers, then say things like “only takes 20 minutes to get everything in the game” but never disclose what their settings are

This is what someone got in the world tree with a gildane drones and a menasting, not even using the right pals.

Took me 2 hours to get 1/10th of this

One gripe I have with Palworld is accessing your Surgical Table or Statue of Power and it doesn’t bring up your Palbox, they have to be in your Party

I seriously wish this Subreddit was Moderated - YOU ARE EXPERIENCING WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH

I hold high conviction in Oracle - long term hold, I will DCA, and just sit on it, see the market as a sale rather than a “CRASH”

T212 listens to these posts on Reddit, changes have been made. Please state things you want added or changed on T212. Please comment it here.

Recent changes that were guided by T212 Reddit.

  • Reverted a user quality of life update that made it harder to find investments within portfolio

  • Implementation of YTD on portfolio

  • Increased support in the SIPP account

  • Notice of major IPO’s that are happening

  • Other minor changes and support fed back to the team.

I ask that you please focus on delivering further quality to customer care.

You pay for many adverts and content creators to promote your app, I ask that you promote important videos within the app e.g of Mark Tilbury that really aid in financial decisions through personal risk assessments. Just an education tab that’s more visible and user friendly could help. Too many times we have people on this subreddit ask if they are doing the right thing. Happy to offer the help, but some further support in the app would be nice.

My reason for having a practice account: knowing that when there is some correction or a small drop, it’s not just my account that has been hit, seeing -£10,000 this Week makes me feel 10x better. Don’t over react

u/Quick_Soil_9120 — 4 months ago

Please feel free to correct me on what I believe is the hero or zero of this stock.

I’m 22yrs old and genuinely just curious,

Obviously, with the current geopolitical environment and increasing pressure on NATO members and other countries to raise defensive spending. I do think established defence contractors may have an advantage. If I were involved in defence procurement, I would naturally be inclined to favour proven, reliable products from companies with a strong track record over more speculative or untested alternatives.

I know Kraken Robotics has already established itself within the defence industry otherwise I wouldn’t invest in them, and it is doing important work in areas such as the Strait of Hormuz. However, one concern I have is whether the company has the scale to meet the potential size of future government demands and if defensive spending continues to increase significantly.

Kraken's growing backlog demonstrates strong demand for its products and services, it could also highlight a challenge. If demand continues to outpace the company's ability to expand production and fulfil contracts, larger defence contractors with greater manufacturing capacity and resources may be better positioned to secure some of the biggest opportunities.

In this case, I do believe that Kraken has the best product on the market. If It satisfied without a long backlog, we will see an absolutely insane surge in this stock. But it’s that ‘if’ that keeps me thinking.

Hoping Newer Investors see this as an example of how to utilise ETF’s that have very little crossover to keep it simple and easy to engage in.

I use 80% in the FTSE All World, simple - proven to return 8%-10% every year for a long term investment. It does heavily consist of American stocks, which is evidently the powerhouse. But not as much as the S&P 500. There is thousands more stocks in the All-World which spreads out your exposure.

And the whole reason to why I am posting this, my 20% in FTSE Developed Markets Asia Pacific ex Japan. It covers precise targeting to the worlds fastest developing economies. Heavily tying into their banks, tech, financials and materials. Samsung was my key convincer in buying this ETF. It plays like the Nvidia of Asia. Funnily enough, I bought this ETF just before Samsung went up 300%. That is just luck.

What I am saying is you can always do your research into speculation and have fun with it. It doesn’t always have to 100% in one ETF. Just make sure your weights are healthy and you don’t have much crossover, whilst maintaining your exposure and joy for investing.

New Meta: The card synergises with another

Players have reportedly been taking advantage of the Orange Wizard in a new meta where Straight of Hormuz’s passive ability of ‘staggering the stock market’ has enabled them to buy their favourite stocks with more in game currency. Orange Wizard also benefits, but so do you when they synergise their card with ‘Oh Dell’s amazing, STOCK MARKET BOOM’.

Personally as a main I think Junkerqueen, lowest pick rate out of any other tank, one of the lowest win rates.

The minor buff that I think would make her better is:

Minor Perk (Battle Shout - Commanding Shout fully reloads Scatter Gun and Increases allied reload speed by 50%) should be part of her base kit and perhaps reduce the percentage increase.

Major Perk (Willy - Willy - when recalling jagged blade, its radius is increased by 100% and it deals 30 additional impact damage) remove this garbage and just buff her recall damage and radius.

Then I finally think her Sub Role should be Bruiser.
