Removing toner

Wanted to go slightly warmer to morning a golden blonde so my stylist unused a gold toner and I hate it. To be clear she did listen to what I asked for but it just didn’t turn out how I pictured and now I’m so upset! I’ve tried washing with clarifying shampoo, blue shampoo, even baking soda and nothing is removing it so far. Am I stuck like this or will it fade more on its own? What else can I do to help it fade faster?

Color correcting help

My hair was already a warm blonde and I wanted to go just a big warmer/more golden and add some dimension . My stylist used a a gold toner and it came out like a muddled red/brown. I’ve washed it 3 times today with super hot water and used a blue shampoo on the last wash and still little change. Is there anything else I can do? I’m just so mad at myself for messing with it in the first place cause my old color was so pretty.

Need a dupe/replacement please

This is the only thing that moisturizes my hair without weighing it down and I’m down to the last bit and it’s been discontinued. Anyone have any recs? For reference my hair is straight fine and flat with dry ends. I’ve been looking at of gisou honey milk styling cream, Redken all soft leave in cream, garnier whole blends honey water cream anyone know if any of those are similar or have another suggestion? Would really appreciate any and all input. TIA

Just came to say I love being able to smell again!!! I haven’t used in a little over two months and I’m really noticing my sense of smell starting to come back. It’s often fleeting and in the begging was kind of weird like I kept thinking food was burning in the oven but it was just cooking normal, guess I just wasn’t used to that anymore. And tonight I put on some body lotion after my shower and I can not stop inhaling it smells sooo good! Same one I’ve been using for months I just never noticed the scent this much before! And omg being outside and smelling grass and flowers it makes me so happy!
This has surprisingly been one of the best parts of quitting that I really didn’t expect

Hi all! Ive got kind of a random one here so any advice is welcome…

I’ve gotten cold sores my entire life but the last two months they’ve been relentless just one after the other (3 since yesterday!) my usual triggers are stress, lack of sleep, and alcohol.

I don’t drink at all anymore, I have been stressed but no more than usual and as for sleep I certainly wake up a few times during the night but I manage to fall back asleep quickly and it definielty seems to be better quality sleep since quitting.

That said the only thing that’s changed in the past few is that I quite about 2.5 months ago. Is it possible that quitting THC is causing the outbreaks? I’m sure withdrawal is a stress on the body, just wondering if anyone else who deals with the herps had experienced this when quitting and did it calm down or did you have to go back to using?

Hi all. I’ve been getting cold sores my whole life. Maybe 1-3 a year and even had a few years without any. The past two years or so they’ve come back and are becoming more frequent. The past two months I’ve been getting them back to back with 2 pooping uniting nowhere yesterday afternoon and another overnight. I don’t have health coverage but managed to get some Valacyclovir through the Amazon pharmacy and it’s coming this afternoon while I’m at work so I can begin taking it tonight. My question is will it even work as I have these active outbreaks already?

Second question for those who get them frequently. What are we doing about toothbrushes and makeup? Are you tossing everything everyone or sanitizing somehow? Indont have a lot of money and it seems insane to just toss a $30 lipstick every few days if I use it before realizing I have a sore coming on.

Last question- I’m trying to narrow it down and figure out why the sudden change in frequency for my outbreaks. Yes I’m very stressed but no more than usual. The only things I can think of that has changed are toothpaste and my thc usage. I’ve been using a whitening toothpaste and stopped but still got three more sores a day after stopping but possible they were already festering? Anyone else make a connection between toothpaste and outbreaks. Im also just over 2 months THC free and while that’s likely better for overall health maybe the change is a stress on my body and causing this?

TIA to anyone that takes the time to read and respond. I’m really going through it right now 😞😩

I’ve done plenty of whole30’s in my time but it’s been a while. I’m on day two and struggling bad! I’ve never had such a difficult time before. I don’t even eat that much off of whole30/paleo these days but I miss my usual condiments and my morning oatmeal. right now I’m just having major cravings and it’s making it hard to even enjoy the food I’ve prepared.

Anyway not sure what the point of this post was other than to rant and just look for some encouragement i suppose.

Has anyone made a connection between frequent outbreaks and toothpaste? I’ve been getting extremely frequent outbreaks lately (like weekly pretty much alternating between the right and left side) after some thinking I realized that thing that’s changed for me lately is I’ve been using whitening toothpaste. My teeth look amazing and I was hesitant to stop use but I’m gonna stop for a few weeks and see if thag makes a difference.

Has anyone else noticed a difference based on toothpaste?
