How to maintain 5 star rider (easy)

5 star rider here with 3000+ rides.

here are some tip for you if you have bad ratings.

  1. Only call Uber when you are 'almost ready' to be outside. For example, if you will be ready in 90 seconds max, then call Uber.

  2. Do not ignore their greeting. You have to greet them back loudly, and even though you are shy, just speak up for this moment of 5 seconds. Also, DO NOT skip the farewell.

  3. You can talk on the phone or watch TikTok, they don't care about this. Just don't turn it up 'too loud'.

  4. If you are with a friend and he or she wasn't raised right, you need them to chill in the car. Your friend can hurt your rating so bad.

  5. Do not ever leave trash in the car.

  6. Do not ever pop the soda in the car.

  7. Do not ever bring street food in the car.

  8. Of course, do not even eat anything in the car.

  9. I always tell the driver that I have to-go food packed and that I will tip him for the smell. Drivers don't know if you have tipped; it takes a couple of minutes to notify them. This is why you must tell the driver you tipped.

  10. Drivers can modify your rating later to 1 star. But they CAN NOT modify low rating to better rating later. Uber won't allow this. So if you know you did something wrong and decided to tip later, just TELL HIM before rides end.

  11. Tip minimum $1. Many drivers don't care about tips but in rare case someone can modify the rating and give you one star for no reason.

  12. If you didn't take shower more than 2 days then some drivers can smell it and give you bad rating.

  13. If you are living in gated community then you must inform the driver key code or WATCH HIM approaching to the gate. DO NOT expect them to call you. Do NOT make them to text you about the gate, you will lose rating already.

  14. Some drivers give you bad rating if you ask them to play music. If you really need music, use your phone but don't turn it up too loud.

  15. DO NOT EVER add stops. Instead, offer him the amount of tip then add stop of he agrees.

  16. They don't give you a bad rating if you have a couple of bags to load in the trunk. BUT if you use Uber for grocery shopping with multiple bags, inform them that you will tip.

So yeah the logic is simple. If you already know you are doing something wrong. just tell him you would tip. But also remember that they can modify your rating to 1 star later.

Thx Uber. I'm no longer a loser.

Fico is even higher at 675.

3 years ago, My Fico was 480 when I started Uber full time.

Getting $2000 limit credit cards again feels good.

My goal is to reach 700 by next year. I hope I will be able to buy a house in 2 years. 🙏

Do not ever opt in this optional insurance.

Uber has 2 kinds of optional insurance but you gotta avoid Chubb one. They are notorious for decline all your claims. You will basically waste about $150-$300 a month if you opt in. The other one is good but Def not this 3.1c per mile operated by Chubb.

Uber Pro Card gas reward rate change.

I used to get 7% reward as Uber Blue and extra 3% on Exxon gas so it was 10% total reward.

Now it's like 2% reward only (exxon still 3%) and total 5%

If you haven't noticed this check your app. It's been like this about a week now.

If this is correct without any updates from Uber, well I will just switch back to classic pay out way and get the fund immediately to my bank by paying a little fee $1 something or $2.

My credit card alone rewards 3% so no reason to put my earnings to this Uber Pro card for 2% reward when I dont even use it. I only used it because of gas reward.

I honestly don't understand why people are just silently downvoting my post/replies without offering any actual counterarguments or stating their positions (And a few other questions from newcomers using this DAW too!). I get that there is a lot of blind pride for the DAW you love, and it’s obvious some of you took my critique personally, but I really expected some proper, logical feedback rather than just emotional defensiveness.

Honestly, this experience makes me realize exactly why Studio Pro consistently gets relegated to B-Tier in so many DAW comparisons. I genuinely spent a month trying to like it and make it work for my workflow, but in the end, I find myself heading right back to Cubase.

I seriously question how this DAW can ever truly evolve when it is surrounded by such a conservative and defensive community culture. Stubbornly trying to justify a missing feature one that is an absolute standard in every S-Tier and A-Tier DAW by making lazy excuses like "just use your ears and feelings" is completely illogical to me.

Seeing the way this community responds to valid technical discussions, I've made my decision. I will not be staking my musical journey on this DAW. I'm out.

Hold on, I’m pasting my quote here from my downvoting post.

"Instead of acknowledging a missing feature that is standard in every other S-Tier DAW (Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools), the community seems determined to gaslight users into thinking their need for precision is a "skill issue."

Why is Logic Pro doesn't just sit at the top because of its features. it’s the S-Tier Community and the ecosystem surrounding it that truly sets it apart."

Man, I loved Studio Pro, but when it comes to mixing, there’s no way to see the peak level of each track like in Cubase or Logic. It just doesn’t show it, Hell no I'm not looking at the analog meter every seconds for Gain Staging. and it’s not that hard to implement. I can’t believe I’m exporting stems and redoing everything in Cubase because of this annoying little missing feature.
