Is the datafrog y5a good? Or should I just get the 8bitdo arcade stick?

I'm not competitive at all, just looking for something for me and my fiance to fight each other or play arcade games together. I'm dogwater against everyone in fighting games normally though so it doesn't need to be amazing but I'd like to know it's at least quality/not super fragile.

Does anyone know what vab it was an older minivan, brother's well off grandparents had with a semi-circle seating and poker table that came out of the floor, two second row captains chairs that swiveled fully around for playing poker, I believe it had a DVD player too, this was in the early 2000s ii

Anything like this now? These people were very rich, head nurse and head plumber for the state, they brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars so I imagine it was expensive but I rarely ever seen it used, I've told my fiance about it for years and we're looking at a minivan for the two of us, I would love this.

Maybe I'm wrong and it was a van but it was pretty small as a kid, the semi-circle seat sat four kids cramped together, probably would have been three adults?

4-string for .070-.140 gauges without breaking the bank?

I love a deep BEAD tuning, I don't want another 5-string, I want to be able to pick up a 4-string and jam, I'll have a professional set it up.

Not trying to sound mean but that covers the "BEAD IS DUMB GET A 5-STRING" when I already have 5-strings. I just don't know what any of the tried and true are, in this case the bank is about $1,800 too haha

One of my doctors thinks I have LC so I figured I'd ask here about symptoms if that's cool.

I'm pretty sure I've always had some form of CFS (undiagnosed), and CPTSD (diagnosed) from childhood, and I've always been super flexible and throwing my back out a few times a year which makes me think I have a hypermobile disorder on top of being able to do most all of the criteria for hEDS but not being diagnosed, doctors also thought I had hirschsprungs as a child but I never got definitive answers because it was too expensive for my parents, saying these as they could be reasons but I doubt it

Since late 2019/early 2020 I started having extreme issues with energy, I've always been extremely low energy but this was like multiple days of recovery and sleeping a lot more, and my workouts and constant trail hikes pretty much stopped. I got pretty sick around then but never tested positive for COVID.

Since then, I got really sick and had to quit working. I've been diagnosed with Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, borderline on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Small Fiber Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, had my Gallbladder removed, am now pre-diabetic after the gallbladder but was completely fine (because issues mirrored diabetes) on prior testing. My unexplained symptoms are

Tightness in the chest/feeling like I am struggling to breathe. Forgetting things constantly, names of things, mixing up my words when I speak or swapping letters around, and having to pantomime 'the cold box' for fridge, for instance. Consistent conjunctivitis that doesn't appear to be infectious at all and reoccurs with vision issues and headaches every few months. Intense chest pain and pain under my left arm. Frequent 'urge to pee' that lasts for a few days then goes away. Getting really tired and falling asleep after eating sometimes (from before I developed pre-diabetes, I've switched most of my diet to whole wheat instead of white bread, brown rice instead of white rice, no sugary drinks, and switched from junk food to protein bars that are listed as low sugar, eating a lot more vegetables and trying to get walks in) and I feel like it takes so much effort to keep my head up straight so I'm always tilted now.

I often walk with a cane now, I used to work out extensively and had pretty decent PRs, like 295 bench, 465 deadlift. I would walk 35k steps a day and now I feel so tired just doing the dishes that I need a stool to sit on. They accused me of having sleep apnea which I have always snored and I was barely hitting requirements. My vitamin D is consistently extremely low but even on a CPAP that I fucking hate and on Vitamin D 50,000 every week until elevated levels I'm still extremely tired.

I have a cardiologist, a neurologist, a rheumatologist I hate (she asked me to stand up, looked at my legs and said I don't have hEDS even with hitting every other criteria but family members and having a fused spine, then poked me a few times and asked if it hurt and said I have Fibromyalgia, all within my first 30m visit then she prescribed me muscle relaxers after hearing I had suspected sleep apnea! I had seen a person to rule out asthma (fun fact, the ER gave me an asthma when I complained of breathing issues at 190bpm heart rate and told me to just use it when I felt like I couldn't breathe) I've done stress tests, ekgs, tilt tables, all of it.

Nobody knows why this all started in my early-nid 20s, what the reason is, and they act like there is no cure. I quit alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, marijuana, all of it years ago when this started and I have nothing to say "this is the issue". I'm fucking crying some days from tthe pain and using cbd powder and refusing the pain meds because they cause other issues, my heart is always doing that "falling down a rollercoaster" thing, I fuckig. Hate it I just want answers but nobody gives them. My neuro said she can refer me to a dysautonomic clinic but it's hundreds of miles away and we can't afford it because I haven't been able to work and I thought I was smart taking a year off for my medical issues then once it was figured out applying for disability but my dad is saying I won't have the work credits for it but I've been working since I was 14yrs old so I have to get a job when I can't even cook my self food some days and it's fuckign too much sometimes.

They did also diagnose me with panic disorder and general anxiety disorder and depression, and I had agoraphobia for a bit, all after I started getting sick. I also have these extreme adrenaline dumps now I guess they're called? Where like if I think I'll get into a confrontation my heart gets super quick and I feel sick and get really weak. This never happened before but now even a simple argument leaves me out of it for a few days

One doctor said it might be long COVID, so I'm asking for this sounds like anyone else's experience.

Oh and my mouth is dry as hell all the time and my eyes are always dry too lately like I drink a lot of liquids and still feel super dry

Is ddr5-8000mhz worse than ddr5-6000mhz ram for DAW work?

I'm trying to build a studio PC to meet my needs, I currently have a 5900x with 6800xt, and 2x16gb ddr4-3200mhz ram. My planned upgrade is to build a new PC and give this one to my fiance since their laptop is having issues and I am having severe stuttering on a fully loaded down track.

∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆

Can skip this bit unless a music nerd:

My tracks are usually Superior Drummer 3, routed to about 16 channels with post processing of about 2-4 plugins on each channel, summed up into three groups with a reverb buss, and those groups have 4-6 plugins each as well. I also typically have 5-6 guitars, four quad tracked DIs ran through amp sims and EQ, a lead and a bass through the same amp sims and EQs, then my FX, synths, etc,. Drums put me at 50-60% cpu utilization and then guitars usually push it over so I disable my drum channels to work on guitar, then swap back. Usually writing the drums to the guitar tracks without FX then turning everything on for a listen before mastering in the session. When turned on I usually get a bit of playing fine then a spike and a severe system slowdown. I know it's better to bounce and master in a separate track but I prefer to do everything in one session and just leave the master off to save cpu if I need to tweak things. It's not how I was taught at any studio but it's the flow I fell into and had worked for me for two decades now because when I first started my laptop couldn't handle it and would have to bounce every four tracks and I decided I hated that and never wanted to bounce audio out unless I had to.

∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆

My new PC build off PCPARTPICKER was a 9950x3d, a 9070xt, and 48gb of ddr5-8000mhz ram because the mobo said it supported it and I figured, if I'm spending the money anyway get the best so I don't have issues in a a few years.

But while trying to figure out how much better the 8000mhz ram would be, I read that 6000mhz is actually better. I do play a fair few games on the PC but mostly single-player older titles, however I've noticed in some modern releases I'm no longer on ultra settings or my fps is like high 20s at times for 1080p. Is 8000mhz really bad? It's about the same price to get 96gb of 6000mhz so would that be better overall? I know apparently using all four slots is bad for performance too so I went with this but I was also wondering if that was true for DAW work, like if having all four slots populated would be better in this use case?

I can't find this track it's early dubstep 'god of thunder' in the track and I think it was by delta heavy but nothing shows up

Literally this seemed the best place to ask, had insane sub bass and broke my in-ears at the time, I've been looking for it for years

Hope this is cool to post but does anyone have a home studio and want to join a very chill online band? Come hang out on discord for a few weeks and see how it goes? I do drums/mixing/production and my buddy across the pond does guitar/bass. FFO: Heaving., Limp Bizkit, Dear Fiend, A Perfect Circle

I have hella medical issues and he works as a therapist, having left a somewhat big metalcore band in Germany a while back. It's just for fun but we do want to be serious-ish. I mainly did hip hop/edm before this with a collective that blew up, so my friends who did it are on like international tours and fuckin League of Legends soundtrack and I just haven't felt like EDM was my vibe in years.

We had an online thing that fell apart, you can check our ex vocalist out under Ratfeeder, I believe he's working with some guys from Disembodied Tyrant on that project but I'm not sure. We're just not the type of guys to crank a song out quickly really we hop on discord and send snippets to each other, once we like an idea we work on it a bit. Our band is definitely leaning like Nu-Metal meets Metalcore with some Orchestral vibes and we're kind of going in circles. It's far more to hang out and vibe than anything, I mostly work with DI anyway

We've been aimless recently and have talked of adding a third person into it, since neither of us are doing vocals or dedicated to our roles everything is open. We both write lyrics and talk shop a lot, but I'm again a much more hip-hop background. I'll throw some of my lyrics down but we lean left so it's somewhat political as a heads up. I can't do tobacco/caffeine/alcohol/marijuana/etc,. for medical reasons but he smokes and I used to work at a cannabis facility so we're cool with it too.

Like, we'd like to put an EP out at some point just because we love music, not because we want to get famous. If that's your vibe it'd be cool to work with someone else. Our usual times are like 4am to Noon Central Time

Some lyrics from my old hip hop shit that never went anywhere to see how I write, and a link to the discord: here

"Degrade the future on southern pride and rebel spirit
Truth resides in the do-or-die suicidal perseverance
the black man built the modern American edifice
Blood sweat and tears used to wash away the evidence
Heaven-sent, like a soothsayers predications
I lit up the Bible's pages so I could write these revelations
A man is only as good as the vices he relies on
And we're all just searching for our own cross to die on"

"So plant an idea to watch the thesis bloom
College kids preaching peace in Jesus juice
Green thumbs harken back to hippie youth
Psychedelic pscilocybin preaching equal truths
Telling blue lies for the sake of subterfuge
These sycophants falling out the frying pan
Spreading brimstone at the brick and mortar
Preaching 'holy wars' and 'guiding hands'"

"It's disgusting how we push back on poverty
But deify billionaires and praise modern monopolies
No safety in your sovereign when cash is your commodity
Millions in that pocket book but where is the camaraderie, honestly?
I've seen friendships capsized by liquid assets
And bachelors who mistake dollar signs for instant access
But when the pleasantries don't extend to the corporeal work force
How much is peasantry in relation to your spiritual war horse."

Since it's august and we're about to move into spooky season, what is everyone's favorite fall/halloween/horror fan edit?

Anything goes, from Paradise (The Prometheus and Covenant mashup) to IT (A Movie) edit, to The Things, also more family friendly fall/halloween edits too?

Best free app for posting to multiple social media accounts/scheduling posts, for YouTube?

I used to have a big channel back when YouTube still put banners on the video, not your profile. I'm getting back into it after fifteen years, homeless, a kid, moving, etc,. And it's such a different world. We used to just post videos of friends doing cool things and hit the front page of reddit or whatever without us actually doing anything. Now you have to post on all these social media apps and market and it's so different.

Is there a free app to schedule posts? Like XYZ LINK gets posted on 10/24/26 to ABC accounts? Anything like that? I feel like I'd spend more time making the posts than recording the footage but I'm not paying for anything until I'm making more than I do at my job and can quit.
