I have seen 2 QCs of the recently launched Rich DJ Ombre and it really smokes VSF. Problem I find is that it seems Rich is not so easy to source as ZF, VSF, ARF and RCF. Any suggestions of a dealer with close ties with Rich and with good prices? Anyone got thia beastl on hands ?

VSF GMT are amazing, but case edges are so sharp that are really an offense.
Could not find anyone decent to do the job where I am and sending watch China was out of question.
I got to the point I decided rather risk ruining it trying to chamfer the case, than wearing it like stock.
Well I almost did ruin it ..some will say I did..lol
However end result was good (at least to me)
It all was very easy and cheap (USD 10 REP Dremel router..would not buy a gen one for this task..lol)
Just used two grinding stones (medium and very fine) on an angled position like in the picture and was basically done.
My mistake was trying to unnecessarily use a soft brush after it . That caused some minimal scratches on the side of the case that I should have protected with tape. I used those watch polish rubbers and finish great.
The feeling on touch completely changed the watch and without magnifying lens is impossible to say anything wrong.
I bought some Polish past and will take care of the scratches resulted from the brush
Next is the daunting crazy mission on the Jubilee shitty VSF finish bracelets.. maybe I just buy some Oyster ARF ones and call it for the day..lol
This Beautiful Seamaster is fking amazing. Pictures don't do it justice.
Crystal, finishings, hands, bezel, weight, clasp, lume, case, bracelet, movement, everything is so perfect that put my VSF AP15510, my Panda and GMTs at least one step down.
I tried a Gen before pulling the trigger and I can tell you it is impossible to tell.
It is a 43.5mm but in the wrist same size as a AP15510 41mm.
The only con is that at 23:45 the date start to change and you cannot read clearly until 0:00, it is not a immediate date change at midnight.
This feeling of excelence I only got on a VSF Aquaterra and a PPF 5712.
Rolex reps are great, but VSF Omegas are like they were built by Omega itself.
It will get a lot of wrist time and some brothers in others colors.
Edit: For the ones saying this is not NWBIG because of the open back and balance visual difference, I say absolutely nobody will ever take your watch out of your wrist to cross examination with a Gen.

I have a Daytona and a GMT both are 40mm.. always loved it and they are perfect with my wrist size.
Pulled the trigger on a beautiful blue 15510 on Chronos. Now it arrived I feel it is oversized and therefore not as classy as I expected. I feel I should have gone a 37 or 39mm.
What is your take on the 15510 size?
A TD told me that they are planning a comeback and IWC Pilots will return. Is there any true on that ? Comment if You really know something.

My honest take on this watch:
I had high hopes on this piece for all the VSF Marketing and my love on my VSF Daytona's but it is a big disappointment.
Glass is very murky even if compared with VSF GMTs, bracelet is of USD 30 shitter, polish is mediocre, dial is "meh" in person and last but not least it is too big to be a sophisticated watch (that is not VSF fault of course, but my take on this AP model). No way this watch would be at par with late ASPSF.
Soon I will receive a ZF 15400 and will compare it.

I just place an order on IWC and reading some comments I saw criticism about this movement and the chrono use.
Seconds hand in this model is at 6.
Is this a really bad idea or there is a good chance it will work fine?
Is the Chrono usage really a certain failure?
Is it easy and unexpensive to fix this movement (parts/labor) or not?
What I should expect of power reserve?

I have customer wants a soft edges Bluesy Rep.
I am not used with ARF but I imagine must be similar knife edges on the bracelet and on the Case.
The TD I do business does not offer this service. He can send the watch for service in China and then receive it back and ship me.
Do you guys have anyone to refer in China with good prices and decent service? How much is the least I will expect to pay?
