Nathan Pinkney (Blaze) wants Val to "Blank" herself.

Normally I dont get involved in the childish back and forth going on in Facebook between groups Redding Be Like and NorCalCritters but I must

I am very very concerned about "Val" and Nathan Pinkney publicly wishing she would kill herself.

Knowing "Vals" sister, I personally know her troubled history.

Would Nathan Pinkney (Blaze) really be happy if she committed suicide?

After watching this and other videos on his Redding Be Like Facebook page

I believe yes, he is driving her to, in my opinion , a serious mental health breakdown.

Somebody who claims to often take the moral high ground, would her death shame this devil?

Or would Nathan rub his hands with glee, knowing he is an instrument of her torture,

And quite possibly her demise...

If you know Val, please reach out to her, and give her moral support.

Nobodys life is worth this immature, childish Facebook back and forth games.

You think you are hip, slick and cool Nathan

Your anything but...

Get a life Nathan, and quit wishing somebody else would take their own...

By Anabel Sosa,Senior California politics reporter

"Two highly controversial public officials, once liked for being “outsiders,” were ousted from office in Shasta County last month after residents seemingly had a change of heart.

Erin Resner, the owner of eight Redding-based Dutch Bros franchises and a current Redding City Council member, will replace Shasta County Supervisor Kevin Crye, a MAGA-friendly candidate who has held office since 2023. Crye’s tenure was divisive within the community over some of his ideas, like peddling election denial, attempting to end the use of voting machines based on debunked conspiracy theories, and the denial of funding for a mental health project."

Officer Cornell, who recently transferred to the Willows area, responded after the kittens were discovered at the rest area and helped ensure they were taken to Hidden Treasures Cat Sanctuary in Orland, where they are now receiving care.

CHP officials recognized Officer Cornell's quick response and welcomed him to the Willows area, thanking him for helping ensure the abandoned kittens reached safety.

Shasta County rescue nears capacity as intakes surge and donations dwindle

https://preview.redd.it/rjc2iokcj5ah1.png?width=986&format=png&auto=webp&s=aca87cd2bdb48cd8e245e7578cce00c23526e680

SHASTA COUNTY, California — An animal rescue in Shasta County shared it is nearing capacity after seeing a surge in animal intakes over the past several weeks, and the strain is growing after a surprise medical emergency for one of the rescued dogs.

Karen Hansen, director of Catz and Dogz of the North State, said the rescue has seen a number of recent intakes that have pushed the group close to its limit. The situation became more difficult after one of the rescue’s recent intakes, a young chihuahua mix named Zuri, broke her leg after jumping off the back end of a couch.

Hansen said economic concerns have contributed to dwindling donations, leaving her to cover a significant portion of Zuri’s treatment herself.

“Zuri has already cost me about $1,500, and I’ve probably paid over half of that out of pocket, out of my own pocket," Hansen said. "Because the donations are just not coming in."

Hansen said Zuri is one of a litter of chihuahua mixes recently rescued from near Mount Shasta. The dogs came from a homeless individual who had more than 10 dogs and asked to surrender them for the animals’ safety.

Zuri has close to six months of recovery ahead before the rescue begins looking for her forever home. In the meantime, Zuri’s siblings and a number of other animals are available for adoption. All of them fully spayed and vaccinated.

Anyone interested in supporting Hansen's efforts through donation or adoption can find more information here.

Is Shasta Regional Medical Center Illegally Dumping Patients Out Into Redding Streets?

Pulling up to Corbett's restaurant parking lot for breakfast I see what looks like a vision of some macabre drive-in movie out of my front window some 15 feet away.

A suffering soul who, when I finished my breakfast, was still there.

As I drove away, a "nagging urge" kept telling me this man needed help and looked like an obvious case of hospital patient dumping.

Hospital name tag wrist band, hospital socks, band aid from blood drawn, hospital pants pulled down, ankle bandage with date and writing, etc...

Little did I know until he opened his sweatshirt...To my horror...

To contain your horrors, I will not show his emaciated eyes and face.

And since I do not own a cell phone at the time,I had to go to my residence to report this to an agency I thought would matter.

Whoever answered the Hill Country Crisis line, ( A service being run under a contract with the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency) would not identify themselves as such.

I asked  is this Hill Country Crisis line?

No answer...

Several times I asked are you the green van who goes around to help homeless folks with issues?

No answer...

Then the guy says my name, (which I have a blocked number), and asked if I talked to him.

I said are you coming or not?

No answer...

This now seems to make sense as to who answered the phone ...From a Record Searchlight

article. "Also on board is a peer specialist — someone who has overcome a mental health challenge themselves and been trained to help others who are now in a crisis situation."

All this recorded to be sure.

So I drive back down to his location to talk to him, and document, expecting no one to respond.

There was a little red Hill Country Clinic car with two individuals, one a very rude woman.

The woman from Hill Country "outreach" was furious that I was taking pictures and several times she said to me "You know , everybody hates you."

My pictures went to Adult Protective Services, and all Shasta County Supervisors including Kevin Crye, which I believe this crime happened in the district he represents.

I find that kind of "seed planting" demonic designed to create worry and fear in a weak person, and wonder if she uses it on patients during her emergency street visits on homeless crisis calls.

This is where I find his shirt wide open...To my horror...

I cannot in in good conscience let this man die, who could barely talk let alone get out of that parking lot and wheel 20 feet to the shade in 100 degrees plus approaching afternoon, defecating and urinating himself on the sidewalk of downtown Redding Pine St.

Is there nowhere this man can lay his head down in a pillow these last minutes of his life?

Is a human being not worthy in this pitiful condition to die out of the deadly heat and sun, with a roof over his head and air-conditioned comfort?

Is there a place where man can have a source of cool liquids to drink to ease his torment? Ice chips if conditions necessary?

Is there not a place where a homeless soul can pass from this life to the next with dignity and grace?
