These are some more niche things that I take issue with so it's not going to be animation focused or talking about how bad the community is or any of the normal stuff I see on here.
And yes, I understand the answer is always going to be because 2k wants our money and doesn't care but I still wanted to share
MyPlayer creation:
This is all going to be based on the idea that you have zero cap breakers (and yes I understand this is built around players getting cap breakers (which I'll get to later) but those can be hard to get for people who don't have a ton of time due to work or school or simply don't like playing online, especially in this community).
Idk if this is common knowledge or not but I haven't seen anyone talk about it before.
Allonzo Trier is one of my favorite players ever (why? because I'm sick in the head... and because the Knicks have been have been ass my whole life until now) so I downloaded 2k21 and took all his vitals, ratings, animations and tendencies and made him in 2k26 where he came out to a 74 OVR. I then wanted to model my MP after him so I started by putting in his attributes and I came out to about an 84 OVR so essentially your base 99 OVR player that you make without Cap Breakers is about an 89 OVR. I also wanted to make a Shai build but you don't have nearly enough points to give out to make him and Shai is a 98 OVR meaning I should theoretically be able to make him and still have a few points to still give out but you can't even come close. I also tried this with a Richie Guerin build (Because he's super fun to play with) and a Knicks Porzingis build and same problem.
The way they cap you out in certain areas due to height, weight, or wingspan is also pretty dumb. So many players IRL have long wingspans and can shoot really well. so how come when I want to do it I can't shoot like those players or be as strong as them. or maybe due to weight I can't be as fast. I understand that these players are usually anomalies who end up being one of a kind legends IRL but in 2k your player is literally supposed to become a 1 of a kind legend. So let me make my anomaly as well. I also understand that this has to due with balancing the MP otherwise everyone would just have a Wembanyama on steroids but this could also be countered by letting you choose to be either big and fast or lanky and a sniper or some other combo.
Attribute Scaling:
This may not be the right way to phrase it but an example would be like having 85 strength at center but not being able to back down a PG but at 90 strength you demolish them (idk if this example is real or not I just made it up). Anyway my problems mainly lies with pass accuracy and Strength. I'm a 6'6 195lb pg and I have 75 strength yet I can't seem to back down guys with a 40 strength and idk if weight plays a part of this or not but the defenders seem to absolutely wall me when I try to back down someone smaller than me. I have an 80 pass accuracy and for some reason that just means even players who aren't even good defenders or maybe just not good at getting steals can easily read my passes and pick them off. or what just happened last game, on a fast break my player threw the ball off the defender standing right next to him when trying to pass it the guy up ahead. I feel like 80 pass accuracy is pretty solid and should not be this bad.
Cap Breakers:
I'm not a fan of the ways in which you attain Cap Breakers.
grinding hours upon hours upon hours to reach level 40 just for 1 cap breaker is trash obviously if you haven't played when previous seasons where going on you get catch up cap breakers but otherwise you have to due this over and over and over as of now it would be 9 times (I know 2k just wants our money for the season passes).
I joined a random crew last week just for the cap breakers so I just played some proving grounds 1v1's to earn some xp and become a member however I don't know how well this will work in the beginning of the year when crews are trying to reach level 30. But I do think this is a okay method of getting cap breakers.
I personally do not like Rep Rewards being the way to get most of the cap breakers in the game. I don't think I'm online skill level but playing proving grounds 1v1's makes me think I might be?? but most importantly I've seen how toxic the community is and it genuinely scares me away from playing online because I just don't want to deal with it.
On top of that I'm a single player games gamer. Basically all games I play are single player story driven games and I'm never going to go out of my way to play call of duty or fortnite or some mmo game. So cap breakers being obtainable through mycareer story or some other single player method would be greatly appreciated by people like me.

The layup meter!!
greening the layup and after I let go a defender comes over and I lose the green which in turn makes me miss the layup
This one makes me really mad because I can't adjust my layup after I've let go so it's either you have to give a window to adjust after the player lets go of shoot (which idk how you would do that) or just give the green.
Also AI being able to make non green layups but not the player is just stupid make us both be able to or neither of us able to
So obviously you have to be a member for 7 days but can I get that as a pledge or do I have to become listed as member? And if so how do I go from pledge to member, does the president need to make me a member or is it some other way?
How good is the quality of items on dokidoki because everything seems to be pretty cheap there which makes me nervous that it's uncomfortable or not well fitting stuff

I wanna upgrade my myplayer before I start playing mycareer nba games but I don't know the best way to do it. I'm not really into online play with games and from knowledge the online scene for mycareer is pretty competitive and while I've been playing for many years at this point I'm good not super good. Think like best in the friend group whenever everyone gets together and does play now games against each other but not good compared to the people who run park or rec a lot).
This is also the first 2K I've bought since 23
My computer is Dell G7 that I got in 2018ish that I feel is at the end of it's life.
I'll list the problems and then the computer specs
These are the problems it has:
- It can't stay unplugged for more than about an 30 min-1 hour before needing to be plugged in
- Unless I have the charging cord in a specific position it won't charge or stay charging. (I've tried taking it to a shop to have this repaired numerous times and it has either not stayed fixed for very long or not fixed at all every time.)
- When I start up my computer the S,W, and 2 (on the top) key don't work and requiring me to use the 2 key on the number pad on the right side (which is not a big deal). However for the S and W key I have to hold the S key and press the D key a few times to get S to type and then go back and delete all the D's and S's it typed until I'm left with the one S I need. Same thing for the W key with holding it down and pressing the E key. It's also worth noting that this doesn't work right away and I have to wait a certain amount of time that varies wildly before I can even type like this. After another amount of wildly varying time everything will fix and I can type normally.
- My computer can no longer run games like it used to. I was going through my computer and found a screenshot of Baldur's gate gameplay that I took about a 1.5 years ago and if I tried to run the game again today on the same graphics level would lag super hard and be basically unplayable. To that same point I used to be able to play on the highest graphics level with mods installed as well and now can't even run with mods installed on the lowest graphics level without lagging super hard.
-To continue with the lag occasionally when just using my computer for googling or using a website it will lag/freeze for a few seconds before continuing. This can either happen once or happen continuously.
I will note that it has been dropped a few times over the years but it's been completely fine after every drop.
The vent on the back of the laptop also came off a few years ago is it possible that something like dirt or a bug got inside and is messing up my computer from the inside?

This is from the inside of my PS5 controller that has horrible stick drift. The one on the left is what it’s supposed to look like while the right one is completely dirty all the way around. I’ve been going at it for a little while now with %70 Isopropyl Alcohol and have gotten it pretty clean but I’ve bent the part circled in picture 2 and was wondering if there’s a better way to go about it.
This is from my PS5 Dualsense controller that has major stick drift. the piece on the right has a black band of dirt that goes all the way around it and I can't seem to get it off. I've been using Q-tips and rubbing alcohol which isn't working. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
