Best places to get p2s combo in India?

What is the best place to buy the Bambu Lab P2S Combo in India in terms of price, after-sales service, reliability, and smooth delivery?

If anyone has already purchased a P2S Combo in India, please share your experience. Which seller did you buy from, how was the delivery, and how has the after-sales/warranty support been?

Also, what is the best price you've seen for the P2S Combo in India?

I'm currently comparing different sellers and would really appreciate some first-hand experiences before placing the order.

Coming back to Bambu ecosystem from Canada to India: A1 vs. P1S vs. A2L advice needed!

Hey r/3Dprinting, I owned a P1S Combo and a Creality K1 in Canada. Hated the K1, loved the P1S, but had to sell both before moving. Now I'm moving back to India in a month and want a new printer. I only print PLA and PETG (no ABS/ASA) for personal use.

I'm torn between the A1, P1S, and A2L. Here is what I need help with:

  1. AMS / AMS lite & Moisture: I rarely printed multi-color on my old P1S, but loved the AMS for easy spool loading/changing. If I get an A1/A2L with the AMS lite, how do you keep filament dry over long periods since I take a long time to finish spools in an open setup?
  2. Big Prints & A2L: I want to print large pieces (like helmets) in one go, which is why the A2L looks great. Where can I buy an A2L, and is a big bedslinger reliable long-term compared to CoreXY?
  3. Canada to India Spares: Since I'm still in Canada, should I buy common consumable spare parts (nozzles, gears, etc.) here before I leave? What fails or wears out most often?

Given I loved the P1S but want convenience/size, which machine should I pick, and what parts should I pack?

Where will customs and immigration happen on Air India YYZ → DEL → AMD?

Hi everyone, I am flying with Air India from Toronto (YYZ) to Ahmedabad (AMD) via Delhi (DEL). Both flights are on the same Air India booking.

Since Delhi is my first arrival point in India, do I complete immigration and customs at Delhi airport or Ahmedabad airport?

Also, after clearing customs in Delhi, do I need to collect and re-check my baggage before the Delhi → Ahmedabad domestic flight?

Thanks!

Just bought a used MSI Katana 15 B13VFK (i7-13620H + RTX 4060) for $750 CAD — good decision over a Ryzen 7 8845HS mini PC? Need opinions

Hey everyone,

I just bought a second-hand MSI Katana 15 B13VFK for $750 CAD and wanted to get some opinions from people who have experience with this laptop.

The specs are:

  • MSI Katana 15 B13VFK
  • Intel Core i7-13620H
  • NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (8GB VRAM)
  • 16GB DDR5 RAM
  • 1TB NVMe SSD
  • 15.6" 144Hz display

The reason I got it cheaper is because it has a battery issue. The seller said sometimes it lasts around 3 hours, but sometimes it suddenly dies within 5 minutes. A replacement battery costs around $100 CAD, so I was okay with that.

My original plan was to buy a GMKtec K8 Plus mini PC with Ryzen 7 8845HS, Radeon 780M, and 32GB RAM because I wanted something portable for travel and moving between countries. But I also wanted to do more gaming, and after comparing the Radeon 780M vs RTX 4060, I felt the RTX 4060 was a much bigger jump for gaming.

I have a few questions:

  1. Was this a good deal at $750 CAD considering the battery problem?
  2. Since I mainly use it like a desktop: Can I completely remove the battery and run it permanently like a desktop PC? Or would you recommend keeping the battery installed and replacing it?
    • Connect external monitor
    • Keyboard/mouse
    • Keep it plugged in
  3. Since I will be travelling internationally and taking it in checked luggage:
    • Is it better to remove the battery before travel?
    • Or keep the battery inside the laptop?
  4. How is the MSI Katana 15 B13VFK overall?
    • Cooling?
    • Build quality?
    • Long-term reliability?
    • Gaming performance?
    • Any common issues?

My comparison was basically:

GMKtec K8 Plus

  • Ryzen 7 8845HS
  • Radeon 780M
  • 32GB RAM
  • Small and efficient
  • Quiet
  • Better portability

vs

MSI Katana 15 B13VFK

  • i7-13620H
  • RTX 4060 8GB
  • 16GB RAM (planning to upgrade to 32GB)
  • Much stronger gaming performance
  • More power consumption

I feel like the RTX 4060 makes this a completely different class of machine compared to integrated graphics, but I would love to hear opinions from people who own or have used the Katana series.

Did I make the right choice going with the MSI instead of the mini PC?

Thanks!

Is the Ronin SC enough for my Sony a6400 + Tamron 17-70mm, or should I get an RS 3 Mini / RS 4 Mini?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy my first gimbal and could use some advice from people with real-world experience.

My setup:

* Sony a6400
* Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD (this will be my primary lens)
* Occasionally a small shotgun microphone, but nothing heavy.

I mainly shoot cinematic videos, travel content, family videos, and product shots. I don't do any extreme action filming, but I want smooth, reliable stabilization.

I'm considering three options:

* DJI Ronin SC (used)
* DJI RS 3 Mini
* DJI RS 4 Mini

The Ronin SC is much cheaper on the used market, but I'm wondering if it's still a good choice for my setup, especially with the relatively heavy Tamron 17-70. I don't want to constantly fight with balancing issues or have the motors struggling.

Would you recommend saving money and getting the Ronin SC, or is it worth spending more for the RS 3 Mini or RS 4 Mini?

I don't necessarily need the latest features—I just want something reliable that works well with this setup and will last me for years.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's used this exact camera/lens combination or has experience with these gimbals.

Thanks!

Moving from Canada to India permanently (for personal reasons) but want to keep my future options open — need advice on taxes, banking, business, PR, and finances

Hi everyone,
I am 26 years old and came to Canada in 2021. I currently have a work permit valid until November 2028 (it was extended partly because I learned French up to around CLB 5). I have not received PR yet.
Due to personal reasons, I am planning to move back to India permanently for now. However, I do not want to completely close my doors for Canada in the future, so I would really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation.
Here is my situation:
I have no debt.
I have never bought a car.
I have an 800+ credit score.
I worked full-time in Canada.
My Canadian employer is willing to continue working with me remotely from India.
The arrangement will most likely change from employee to contractor.
I will work from India during Canadian business hours (evenings/night time in India).
My company is open to either paying me into my Canadian account or directly into my Indian bank account.
I have some questions regarding different areas:

1. Bank accounts and money management
Currently, I have:
Neo Financial account
Simplii Financial account
Tangerine bank account
Scotiabank credit card
Should I keep these accounts open after moving to India?
Is there any issue keeping Canadian bank accounts while living outside Canada?
Should I maintain my Canadian credit card to keep my credit history active?
Do I need a Canadian address for these accounts?
What is the best way to manage money between Canada and India?
Should my company pay me in CAD to my Canadian account and then I transfer money to India?
Or is it better to get paid directly into my Indian account?
What are the cheapest ways to transfer CAD to INR?

2. Canadian phone number / SIM card
I currently use a Canadian phone number.
What is the cheapest way to keep my Canadian number active while living in India?
Do I need to keep the number for banking, CRA, credit cards, and two-factor authentication?
Is there any recommended low-cost plan for people living outside Canada?

3. Moving clothes and personal belongings to India
I need advice on the cheapest way to move my belongings.
Is extra baggage on Air India cheaper than shipping/cargo?
Are there any recommended Canada-to-India cargo companies from the GTA area?
What is the most economical option for sending clothes and personal items?

4. Tax situation (my biggest concern)
I am confused about how taxes will work after moving.
If I permanently move to India:
If my Canadian company pays me in CAD into my Canadian bank account and I transfer the money to India, where would I owe taxes?
If my company pays directly into my Indian bank account, does that change anything?
Would CRA still consider me a Canadian tax resident?
How do I properly become a non-resident of Canada for tax purposes?
Are there any mistakes I should avoid before leaving Canada?
I want to make sure everything is done properly and avoid any future issues with CRA or Indian tax authorities.

5. Small e-commerce business I built in Canada
I also have a personalized products business that I started as a weekend side business. It has been running for around 2.5 years.
Business details:
Mainly operated through Etsy, Shopify, and local sales.
2,500+ orders shipped.
500+ reviews with around 4.9-star rating.
It is not a huge business, but it has been a successful side income.
I have around $10,000+ worth of inventory, machines, and tools invested into the business.
Since I am moving to India, I am unsure what I should do with it.
Etsy does not allow transferring/selling the Etsy shop, so I cannot sell the entire business.
The options I am considering:
Option 1: Close everything
Sell inventory, machines, and tools.
Stop operations completely.
Option 2: Let a trusted friend operate it
My friend can handle production, packing, and shipping in Canada.
We can create a profit-sharing arrangement.
The Etsy account would remain mine, but my friend would manage daily operations.
Questions:
What would be the best way to handle this from a tax/legal perspective?
Should I keep the business registered in Canada?
Would a profit-sharing arrangement create tax issues for me after moving to India?
Is it better to liquidate everything before leaving?
Has anyone managed a Canadian e-commerce business while living in another country?

6. PR and future return to Canada
Since my work permit is valid until 2028:
Does leaving Canada affect my future PR chances?
Should I maintain any Canadian ties?
Is there anything I should do before leaving to keep my options open?
Should I keep my Canadian credit history active?
Are there important documents or records I should save before leaving?

I know this is a lot of information, but I am trying to make the move carefully and not make decisions that could hurt me financially or close future opportunities.
I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has:
Moved back to India after living in Canada
Managed Canadian finances from abroad
Worked remotely for a Canadian company from another country
Handled Canadian tax residency issues
Continued or closed a small Canadian business after moving overseas
Thank you!

From 145 KG to 108 KG in 6 Months — My Weight Loss Journey as a Vegetarian in Canada

TL;DR

  • Went from 145 kg to 108 kg in around 6 months
  • 26 years old, 6'1", vegetarian (no eggs, but dairy)
  • Main strategy: calorie deficit + OMAD + cycling + walking + protein-focused eating
  • Ate mostly regular foods with healthier substitutions instead of “salad-only dieting”
  • Biggest enemies: Uber Eats, DoorDash, eating alone, and “buy 1 get 1 free” deals
  • Goal now: maintain this lifestyle and eventually reach 85–90 kg

Hi guys,

I’m 26 years old and living in Canada. My maximum weight was 145 kg, and today I’m down to 108 kg. I wanted to share my journey because maybe someone reading this will relate to parts of it and take something useful from my experience.

This is not professional advice, and I’m not saying everyone should do exactly what I did. I’m simply sharing what worked for me.

The Moment That Changed Everything

One day I went to see my doctor, and he scared me in a way nobody else ever had.

He told me:

>

Then he said something that honestly became my moment of realization:

>

That sentence hit me harder than anything else.

That was the day I decided I had to change.

How I Gained Weight

I was actually skinny until around age 13. Then during my school years, I slowly started gaining weight.

When I reached college, I tried keto and stayed consistent for about 8 months. I lost a lot of weight back then and stayed careful for some time afterward. But eventually my attention became weaker, I lost consistency, and I gained all the weight back — plus even more than before.

After finishing college, I moved to Canada for my diploma.

As a student, I worked physically demanding jobs for about 2 years. Funny enough, I rarely ate lunch at work. Sometimes I wouldn’t eat anything during my shifts at all. I lost a lot of weight during that time, but it wasn’t intentional. I was simply working hard and eating less.

Then I got a desk job.

And honestly, that changed everything.

For the last 3 years, I’ve been sitting most of the day. I still use public transit, so my only daily activity was walking to bus stops and transferring between buses and subways.

At that point, I was already doing OMAD (One Meal a Day) 5 days a week. On weekends I would eat 2–3 meals. But somehow I was still gaining weight.

That’s when I realized something important:

>

I also realized our bodies usually need far less food than we think.

My Biggest Enemies

Looking back, my biggest enemies were:

  • Uber Eats
  • DoorDash
  • Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals
  • Eating alone
  • Desk job lifestyle

I used to order huge meals and eat everything in one sitting while justifying it with:

>

But I completely ignored the fact that I was sitting all day at a desk.

Another huge problem was eating alone.

I had a habit of never leaving food on my plate because I didn’t want to “waste food.” But honestly, I was wasting my body instead.

One thing I strongly suggest:

>

When you eat around family or friends, you naturally become more mindful. I gained a lot of this weight eating in isolation.

Starting My Weight Loss Journey

I’m strictly vegetarian — no eggs — but I do eat dairy. So getting enough protein was difficult.

When I started dieting seriously on December 1st, I focused on:

  • Calorie deficit
  • High protein
  • Consistency
  • Simple exercise

I started eating around 1300 calories per day with a goal of 100 grams of protein daily.

Yes, I know that’s aggressive for my size and age. But at that point, I wanted to see if I could truly lose the weight.

My Diet Approach

I did NOT survive on salads only.

I kept eating many regular foods, but I replaced things with better alternatives:

  • Regular yogurt → 0% Greek yogurt
  • Regular cheese → 0% fat cheese slices
  • Sugary sauces → no sugar / low-calorie versions
  • Normal bread/tortillas → protein bread and protein tortillas

Canada actually has many good high-protein options if you search carefully.

To hit my protein goals, I sometimes mixed:

  • Protein powder
  • Greek yogurt
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Cranberries
  • Raspberries

Basically making a high-protein dessert bowl.

I made sure I hit around 100g protein daily.

Nobody is perfect, though. Sometimes I went above my calorie target by 100–200 calories. So instead of 1300, maybe I ate 1500 calories occasionally — which was still a deficit for my body size.

Exercise Routine

As a heavy guy, I knew running would destroy my knees, so I avoided it completely in the beginning.

Cycling became my best friend.

Not crazy online spin-class intensity — just medium-paced cycling.

My Routine

Monday to Friday

  • Wake up: 5:30 AM
  • 45 minutes cycling in the morning
  • 5 km walking during transit before work
  • Work: 8 AM to 4 PM
  • OMAD meal: around 4–5 PM fixed timing
  • 15–20 minutes cycling after eating
  • Sleep: around 9:30–10 PM

Weekends

  • Wake up later
  • Still did cycling
  • Sleep around midnight maximum

Consistency mattered more than perfection.

I was probably 98% consistent with my exercise schedule.

Tracking My Progress

I used a Renpho smart scale with the tracking app.

I weighed myself once every week:

  • Morning
  • After waking up
  • Same conditions every time

Tracking honestly helps a LOT because it forces you to face reality instead of guessing.

Things I Learned

1. Outside food is dangerous

People think they’re eating “healthy” when ordering food outside, but most of the time they are not.

If possible:

>

Trust me.

2. Protein and calorie goals change your mindset

Once your calories and protein are fixed, you naturally start preferring high-volume foods over tiny high-calorie foods because you simply stay fuller longer.

3. Don’t completely deprive yourself

Replace things instead:

  • Sugar-free alternatives
  • 0% fat versions
  • High-protein substitutes

Yes, some are processed foods, but honestly:

>

Just don’t make processed foods your entire daily diet.

4. Vegetarian protein is possible

A lot of people think vegetarians can’t hit protein goals.

You absolutely can.

If you’re non-vegetarian, honestly, you’re already starting in an easier position.

5. OMAD is not mandatory

I personally started OMAD immediately when I began dieting, but that doesn’t mean everyone should.

If OMAD feels impossible:

  • Split calories into 2–3 meals
  • Stay consistent
  • Don’t go as aggressive as I did

Please consult your doctor and don’t follow my exact approach like a rulebook.

Where I Am Now

Today I’m 108 kg.

People say my transformation was aggressive, and honestly, they’re probably right.

Now my plan is to slowly transition into a more normal deficit and move toward my final goal weight of around 85–90 kg while maintaining this lifestyle long-term.

Because this is actually my second major transformation journey.

And this time…

>

Final Advice

If I could give simple advice:

  • Fix your calories
  • Fix your protein goal
  • Stop ordering outside food constantly
  • Track your weight honestly
  • Stay consistent
  • Don’t let one bad meal destroy your mindset

Most importantly:

>

If you’ve gone through a big transformation and successfully maintained it long-term, I would genuinely love your advice because maintenance is now my biggest challenge.

Thanks for reading.

If anybody has any questions about my journey, diet, OMAD, vegetarian protein sources, calorie deficit, cycling routine, or anything else, feel free to ask me. I’m not an expert, but I’ll happily share whatever worked for me and what mistakes I made along the way.

ETIHAD FROM YYZ TO AUH A380 (Seat Change)

I booked my flight on 10th January for departure on 28th May and also paid extra for a legroom seat at the time of booking. Since I’m 6'1" and a bigger guy, I specifically chose that seat for comfort.

However, when I checked my booking recently, I noticed my seat had been changed. I contacted customer service to understand what happened, and they told me it was due to an internal error and that I should not have been assigned a different seat without notice.

They offered me seat 49A, which is a bulkhead window seat, but initially asked me to pay the fare difference between the extra legroom seat and the bulkhead seat. I declined and insisted that I should not be charged again since I had already paid for a preferred seat.

After further discussion, they agreed and assigned me seat 49A without any additional cost.

I’m hoping for a smooth flight, ideally with no disturbance nearby. If there are children around, hopefully they’ll be calm or sleeping. I’ll also be using my noise-cancelling headphones, so I’m expecting a comfortable journey overall.
