Workout routine for being fit long-term

For any PE or long-term gym guy out there, please guide me on this.

I am 26M (Weight 50KG, height 172CM),

Following a normal diet (home food, healthy snacks)

recently I have developed poor posture and muscle stiffness and weakness. I am doing some stretches advised by physio. But during those stretches I feel muscles are very weak for me.

I am a very lean guy with hypermobility. I have some past gym experience (I have done weight training in the past). With the heavy weight I was getting joint pain easily due to which I discontinued gym often.

But for my current condition. I just want to GRADUALLY strengthen my muscles. Because heavy weight may give me stiffness and impact my

joints.

I just want a gym workout plan for this. Planning to do gym 3-4 days per week rest of the days stretch/ yoga.

I haven't taken a personal trainer in the past. Is a personal trainer worth considering?

And I am open to any general advice. On maintaining long-term physical wellness for skinny guys. (My intention is not weight gain. Rather being fit and active).

Sitting variations for tasks other than work

Guys I somehow figured out an ergo setup for WFH.

The thing is no chair is perfect for me.

Instead of investing (time and money) I just bought wakefit gravita with all features and tried to do some mods based on my body adjustments.

Also I have bought a height adjustable desk which I use in standing position for max 1 to 1.5 hours.

Som how able to manage work by following pomorodo/standing/taking long breaks.

But the problem is I spend 12 to 14 hours sitting (either it's working/scrolling/reading books/movies) - all I do in this setup only.

Because of this I feel tired along with posture issues. (having some forwarded head posture issue - need to correct it soon with physiotherapy)

Need advice from people who have figured out what are the other sitting alternatives. Like I should buy a sofa or any other setup for other than work related stuffs?

Is this a PE. And any of you guys face these symptoms?

I am 25M, So I have had this abnormal rib shape since Teenage. I had GERD problems associated with H pylori 4 years back and it was treated with some medication. The GERD problems didn't stop. I have mild gas/acid reflex and pain near my heart, with some palpitations (not often but temporarily after a large meal) for these 4 years. I often don't get hungry and I am lean (49kg) because of this.

Recently i have been getting very anxious and heart rate raising. So I have done a regular master checkup with heart echo scans - all the results where normal.

Even my abdominal scans were normal.

Today just randomly googled whether this funnel chest might causing these problems. And found out this funnel chest is not just a cosmetic issue rather it should be treated earlier.

I am from Southern part of India. And i found there are not much expects in this relavent field.

If anyone is from India or especially from Chennai please mention to me any good doctors to evaluate this condition.

I am here for advice from people who have PE associated with other problems.

Any career path for a guy who losses interest in software engineering?

Guys this may be weird for many of you. But I just wanted to speak out and find a solution for this.

I have been in software engineering for 4 years. This is my 2nd company and it's been just 1 month since I joined this company. The team and work here is not as stressful as my last company.

I have been working from home since I joined (currently there is some space issue in the office).

I am alone at home. (My parents and siblings are working so I will be all alone at home).

I am getting bored, scrolling and getting anxiety issues.

And started to feel I am losing my health condition.

Thinking of quitting the software career itself and looking for jobs that involve talking with people and not sitting and staring at the screen all day.

I am trying to figure this out whether this is due to loneliness or the nature of a Software career.

But if any of you guys are gradually transitioning your career to complete quit software Engineer

Please give me some ideas.

Please don't give ideas like government jobs. Ido t have energy and time to prepare for that🙂.
