I literally never want to hear..

That the mee mee's were only plot devices for moo moo. The mee mee's are so much more than that, and to say that they only matter for moo moo's character arc is fucking blasphemy.

Weewuh J Wizz crushed hella beers and wrote a book

And damnit, im gonna READ IT. And it will SURELY. Be about the mee mee's. Not just moo moo.

Finally understand the Brynn sympathy

I'm a first time watcher, now working my way through season six. I've seen a bunch of posts on here mentioning Brynn and how people feel bad for her, and I didn't know who that was or understand what that was all about until now.

Just wanted to say DAMN. I feel bad for this girl too.

I mean I get why the moms hate Ashlee, this woman cannot hold back from insulting anyone and everyone every time she opens her mouth.

But the backlash of that totally is falling on Brynn. This poor girl. Every good moment she's had has been effectively ruined for her so far, and she always ends up in tears. Because she's getting put in the middle of this conflict and insulted constantly as if she's not just a baby 🥺 I do really feel bad for her so far.

That's all! I'm finally up to speed on what everyone's been saying about her, and it is roughhhhhh to say the least.

The 'thoughtless' face. Do you think they think? I think not

I've compiled the photos I have of ✨that face✨ they do when you know they are NOT incurring a single thought. How many thoughts do your ferrets think in a week? 1? 2? Can't be more than 2

That's it, that's the peeve

Sometimes I have the perfect meme to share, or a pic of my pet to share or something. When I can't, I feel sad. Like I'm being STIFLED

Timothee Shitalamet

*repost after first post was removed due to the read the rules bot

I don't like him. IM SORRY OKAY

Everyone else seems to love this man! They claim "he's so good at acting" and I just don't find it to be true!!

I feel like he's sort of like Ryan Reynolds and the way that anything you put him in, he's so 'himself' and I can't really call that good acting. I feel like that's more just being someone that people enjoy watching

But I don't even enjoy watching him, and it feels like a crime. Or something I have to apologize for.

but FCK MAN. I can't stand him! I don't like his face, I don't like his voice (very mumbly, Hollywood accent of mushing words together), and I struggle to find redeeming qualities about this guy

That's it. That's my vent. Cause I can't stand timothee chalamet in anything and no one seems to understand me

* since first post was removed after a few mins, the 3 comments so far were saying that he's got a punchable face, that Ryan Reynolds is also not it, and that he's a "shalamuck," to which I said "Chalamuck, even?" So that's nice :) some people understand me 🥺

Edit: i've been sidetracked by this post for an hour now and really have to get back to work so I will respond to more comments later! But I'm so happy to hear that I'm not alone 😭😭 keep dogging on rat boi, I will return to the comments later, ready to smile 😊

Edit 2: this is by far my fav post I've ever made. The polarity in responses is so fucking funny, people either love or hate this guy

Turning the thermostat below the desired temp, thinking that'll cool "faster"

No, beloved bf of mine, it doesn't WORK THAT WAY

Turning my thermostat to 65 does not make the room cool down faster. It just means that it will keep cooling down the room past 69, where we want it to be, and then in the middle of the night I'm going to be freezing my ass off and hogging all of your blankets.

Maybe that's how other AC units work, but not mine! Mine cools at the same rate. Turning the temp down lower doesn't mean that the room gets colder faster. Just that the room will continue to get colder, and colder, and colder, until it's too cold.

I've explained this before but somehow I guess we're still under the impression that the AC puts out "cooler air" if you turn the temp down even lower 🤦‍♀️

Dusk Court Nails 💅

Last week I posted my Bryce-red hair, and was tasked to do Dusk nails for my next set! So these are what I came up with this weekend. The inspo pics I followed are on the second slide, I used those to pick my colors :) I tried to make the gradients look more like clouds, rather than a smooth gradient - as if you dipped your fingers into a sunset at dusk ✨

* the pointer fingers are short & stubby on purpose for flowing with a flowstar :)

** I've been doing my own nails for awhile now, but I'm still learning and practicing. I'm not a nail tech, and certainly not a professional so I know they're not perfect ok 😭

*** the stars are stickers, and my iPhone didn't really do them justice in the pics. Each one is the same color as the polish, so they look really cool in better light. A touch of the night court, if you will 🌌

When I send over available times to meet over email and the recipient sends an invite for a totally different time than what I offered

So when I coordinate calls for work - Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, what have you. And I send someone me or my team's availability over email (I always send plenty of options, and usually big chunks of open time slots too for flexibility), it does peeve me a tiny bit when the recipient sends an invite for a time that I did not offer!

Like what was the point of me sending over all of those times then? I just did all the mental math of connecting everyone's time zones and checking everyone's calendars to see when we can all meet as a group, and you just shoot over an invite for a completely different date and time? Like no bro, we're not free then! Then I have to decline the invite and propose new times (yk, the ones I sent over in the first place?). Lmao it's not that big a deal but definitely a little pet peeve of mine in the corporate world. Cause why are you assuming we're free ... when I didn't say we were?

This is what I would love to send to people that do that to me, but I must remain professional. So I'm putting my grievances here lol!

Bryce hair, anyone??

Here is a picture of me at the beach this past weekend, holding a hermit crab I found. I love hermit crabs. I also love Bryce. I also love having red hair. This was a color I always wanted, so I didn't get it because of Bryce, but it's more like an added bonus! Wanted to see if any others in my favorite sub on the Internet have Bryce colored hair as well!??

Shrieking Whistling at Concerts

Basically the title. You know when people put their fingers in their mouth to make their whistle 1000% higher and louder? Yeah that. Can't stand it.

I was at a concert this weekend and I had two people next to me in the pit that were doing this nonstop. Not like a couple times after songs or after openers leave or something, actually nonstop. Anytime they liked something, they were whistling at sound barrier breaking levels for two minutes straight. I swear I got more hearing damage from them that night than the actual concert that was 10 ft in front of me.

I'm someone who's extra sensitive to whistling too, always hated it. But this kind of whistling just seemed so over the top, it had to be rude. Just deafening for everyone else nearby, I'm pretty sure I even saw the artists on stage cringe at some points.

Anyhow, that's my rant for today. If you're one of these people who feel the need to defy the laws of sound physics with your piercing whistles, fine for a touchdown. A goal at a game. A "how are we feeling tonight???" question for the crowd. But nonstop????? PLEASE. PLEASE STOP. The rest of us have shattered eardrums from you. Have mercy, I beg of you. Chill the fuck out and just clap for a couple minutes instead or something PLEEEASE.

ETA: hey all! Not sure why in the half hour since I posted this there have been so many people that are personally angered by a dumb pet peeve about a kind of whistle? this was meant to be lighthearted and a random thought to share so please stop attacking others in the comments, there's really no need for that :/

What should I read after book 1, book 2?

I started reading a final series, but it has come to my attention that maybe reading the first series before reading the final series would've been a good idea.

Furthermore, it has come to my attention that book 2 should follow book 1. Is this true?

How can I read book one, the first series, and then finally book two? Or should I read book one, book 2, the first series that should have come first, and THEN book 3? Or should I read the first and the second series before book 2? Should I read book 2, the second series, then the first series, then book 3? And who is tandem how do I do speak with them.

If I am supposed to read a first series before last series, will it be interesting? I don't think I will like it, convince me to like it. Convince me to read these books in the correct order.

I don't know how to count. Convince me to count.

(Uj/ this is my first copy pasta how did I do? Yes I did see a post literally like this last night before I went to bed, and I fell asleep thinking "what perfect material for me to finally write my first copypasta... that's the stupidest fucking question I've ever seen... Zzz)

Who decides if it's sexist? I say, women do.

Just a thought I'm having today, would love to hear other's perspectives on this!

I came across a comment earlier in which a guy was doing alright, talking about the post, nothing out of the ordinary, and then the second paragraph hit. "All you women need to check your hormones because if another woman wants him then you'll want him too." Maaaan. What.

Then of course some discourse followed because women called him out on the sexist remarks and generalizations, and this guy is of course falling back on "BIOLOGY it's your BIOLOGY it's not sexist!!!"

What I'm wondering to hear from others is your opinion- not on this guy's comment - but on the question of Who gets to decide if something is sexist.

Men can say something absurd, provocative, controversial, outrageous, etc, and then defend themselves by saying "it's not sexist!" for whatever reason. I've seen it too many times to count.

My take is, men can't truly decide if something they've said is sexist or not. Because they're not the ones experiencing sexism in their day to day lives. Everyone at least roughly understands the definition of sexism, but from where I stand, only the victims of sexism can truly understand what it means and what it sounds like.

What do you think? Can men *really* dictate if their actions or words are sexist or not?

Edit to add - just want to clarify that I'm not talking about sexism towards men :) in that case, by my logic here, they would be better at dictating what is sexist towards men.
Another example parallel to this (to help illustrate my point is all), would be how I don't presume to dictate what is racist as a white woman. If I said something that an African American pointed out to be a microaggression or racist, I wouldn't argue with them for a single second! I would want to apologize and understand why, so I can adjust my language in the future. Because, I can't truly know racism as others can. I'm not a victim of that prejudice, I don't have that contextual knowledge - I can only do my best to learn. I would never respond with "no it's NOT racist!" Because that's not for me to decide, yk?
And thank you so much for the replies already, I do really appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this :)

"I'm just curious, like I'm just genuinely curious"

No, you're not! You are not "just curious." You are trying to argue and put someone down by making yourself look like someone who is just innocently asking a question.

I've seen this phrase gain a lot of popularity in the last year or two from videos off social media, and I get so ✨peeved✨ when I hear it in real life.

to clarify - Nothing wrong with being curious and asking a question! But this phrase isn't used anymore by someone who is actually curious, and actually wants to ask a question. It's a Weaponized phrase now every time I hear it.

Someone will purposely be provocative or controversial, start to get offensive in their language or start a debate, and then default to that same fucking line. "Like I'm just GENUINELY curious, genuinely asking here," and then they proceed to ask a leading question phrased in a way to make your answer sound stupid.

It's gained enough popularity that even my little brother has started to say it. My mom and I were with him the other day, and he's a really argumentative and confrontational kid. He pulls the "I'm just cUriOuS-" and my mom immediately clocked that shit. She said no, you're not just curious, otherwise you would be using a curious tone. You're trying to steamroll me in a conversation but act like you're asking me questions and being curious. Go over there, fix your tone, and come back when you're ready to have a real conversation.

All right, that's my first pet peeve I've posted here. How did I do? "like I'm genuinely curious, genuinely asking, I'm just curious, how did I do?"
