So the stock motor cooling fan just stopped working on my Typhon 1/8 223S. I noticed that the fan’s three-pin wiring connector had the wires connected to the ESC aux port where the grey wire was connected to the middle post of the aux port and the black wire was connected to the right post of the aux port. The voltage measure across these middle and right posts was 11.75V. I was running a 3S Spektrum Lipo pack.

From the photos you can see that the fan is rated for 6V and the photos show the voltage across each post pairing.

Is my aux port outputting too much voltage or was the motor cooling fan the wrong one or wired wrong?
