Alignerr stole my money

First, they say they will pay hourly. If I calculate paid by hour rate my amount is > $6000.

Then they come back and say payment will be made only for accepted tasks. But dude, tasks worth $4500 were accepted. I have proof.

Then they email again saying that a few tasks were rejected by the client. No visibility into which tasks were rejected or why. Only $1500 received.

When they need work done on time, they bombard you with emails every hour, make false increase in hourly rate and remove all barriers so that more people can work without a quiz or interview. In reality, their intention seems to be to get the work done without paying for it. They always hire fresh people to exploit, basically make false claim to get the work done from you with words like - bonus, hourly pay instead of pay per task approved, who controls the approval. Platforms like Snorkel give visibility directly whether the client accepted or not.

Once they have all the data they need to submit to the client and get paid, when it comes to disbursing payments to labelers, they make all sorts of excuses to avoid paying you for your hard work. There is no transparency and no way to contact support. They remove you from the project and take away your ability to contact your peers on Discord.

The leads always sounded fishy. I will wait a few more days to see if the unpaid payment issue is resolved. If it isn't, I will name and shame this practice to all their clients.

You've got blood on your hands.

Guys they are not same league as Mercor. Please do not belive every word they say and protect your human hours / brains by not committing fully. FQ to the Founder.

This post was removed from r/alignerr and they blocked me instead of resolving issues.

Newbie here and to Demonolatry, so pardon me if I sound stupid.

I've chosen Lucifer (General Guidance) , Marbas(Health), Claunek( Money) and Asmodeus( Vitality) as my personal spirits due to certain issues I'm going through in my life right now. My background is that of an atheist turned agnostic, who is still not sure if there is a God. So, you can imagine what I'd feel about demons and spirits.

Theologically and philosophically, I align more with eastern philosophies such as Hinduism and Buddhism than with the dogmatic theologies of the Abrahamic steams. The internet is full of information and misinformation, so I end up getting confused at the end of the day.

So, I'm hoping I'll get some guidance here.

My questions are:

  1. Has anyone had real life experiences with the aforementioned spirits? Can you please share your experiences

  2. It's only been 3 days since I started practicing. What I do is that I open the sigil for each sign on my mobile and listen to the Enns of each spirit 9 times focusing on the sigil. The sequence is like this: Lucifer- Marbas-Claunek-Asmodeus. I do this as soon as I shower and before breakfast.

Is this okay? Please note that I don't have the bandwidth to do elaborate rituals everyday.

  1. Are there any dangers that I should be aware of? I don't want to put my family at risk by doing something wrong.

  2. Ever since I started this, which is 3 days ago, I'm feeling more depressed, anxious, and fearful. I realise that this could be psychological, but I want to know if this common with experienced people here.

Guidance from y'all will be very helpful to me. If you want to know about my issues and then advice, I can reach out to you personally in DMs.

Thank you much!

Is lagna lord in 12th house always bad for wealth especially during its mahadasha? What if there's an exchange between lords ofthe 1st and 12th house? Does this make it even worse?

Help With Persona Verification

I recieved a project invite from Handshake AI. As part of the onboarding process, I was required to verify my identity. At the first screen, I was given 4 identity verification options, from which I chose Pan Card. Then, I used my mobile to take a pic of the Pan Card and submit on Persona. Subsequently, I was also asked to submit three selfies from different angles, which I did. The Pan Card and the pic in it is from 2008, and I am clean shaven in that. There was a pop up immediately after that said ID verified. But, the next window required me to identify again, but this time there were only 2 options: 1) Aadhaar (recommended) 2) Other. I chose Aadhaar because it was recommended. Subsequently, I tried verifying my Aadhaar through Digi Locker, but after many failed attempts at entering the correct Captcha, I closed the mobile browser tab, thinking I will use my DL instead. But, when I check my Desktop dashboard, the status is set to Review, and I am not able to proceed beyond this step. Is there anyway I can escalate this and resolve this immediately as I am sure by the time I am verified, this project will be unavailable .

Tips Please

Hey Mercorians,

I had an AI interview for the role of Generalist a coupl6 of days ago. Everything got over in 15 minutes. The interview was basically about my resume , especially about my stint with another big AI platform that pays well.

The AI 'sounded' pleased, but I have no clue because everything got over so fast. I got a popup saying thanks for the interview and that I will hear from them in 4 weeks.

  1. Is the short interview good or bad for me?

  2. Was it short because there will be more interviews and tests later?

  3. How steady is the job if you're selected?

  4. Does it really take 4 weeks to know the result?

  5. Are we allowed retakes, and if we are, is there a limit on the number of attempts and a time frame?

  6. Any tips for the retake assuming I plug. Honestly, I'm really not comfortable talking to an AI, staring at my laptop screen through the entire process.

Thanks in advance,folks 🙏

Tips Please

Dear Microans,

I had an AI interview for the AI Evaluator position couple of days ago..

The AI kept drilling me based on my resume, replies, and on my experience with Turing as an LLM trainer Plus, I had to take the interview twice because the first one got disconnected at their end exactly when I finished the audio interview and when it was time to take the written test. So, basically another 40 minutes of drilling and test with frequent disruptions from their side. Some of the questions came out like static noise, but since I had also enabled text, I could see what she was asking. I thought I did pretty good in the first round, and the AI responses sounded like it's pretty interested in and in agreement with what I had to say, but the second round sounded like she was in a hurry to leave. It was a complete flip. It sounded like this AI didn't like me one bit from the very start.😂The questions this time were also very ‘jargonistic’ and super scholarly. In my 20+years of work experience, which includes 7 years as content manager for a Tampa based company, I’ve never encountered anyone, even well qualified native speakers, speak or write like that unless they were scholastic journals, technical papers, peer studies, etc etc.

Anyway, I got an email that I’ve pasted below with their feedback on why I didn’t pass. Ya, I flunked, if that wasn’t obvious by now. Apparently, based on the feedback, I’m assuming I wasn’t able to articulate in a language that the AI likes. I’m guessing the AI architecture and algorithm are tuned to prefer certain words and phrases that shows my suitability for the position. This js what Chat Gpt told me after I discussed this post interview.

And, honestly, though I can write like that, it’s very hard to talk like that t even a human let alone a fast AI. Plus, there was no feedback on my written test despite my repeated requests for that.

I’m also wondering why the Micro AI is architecturally tuned in this way when the job requirement does not need such language at all

So, I just wanted to know your experiences, how you got through, and any tips you can offer me as I will attempting the retake soon.

Thank you in advance!

The feedback email -

Thank you for requesting feedback on your interview for the AI Evaluation Specialist position. Below is a detailed breakdown of your performance, highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement.

Strengths we noticed

You demonstrated strong risk-based thinking in AI output evaluation and quality assurance, effectively highlighting the importance of intent alignment, factual accuracy, hallucination avoidance, and rubric adherence. Your approach emphasized treating factuality and safety as non-negotiable and showcased your awareness of different severity levels across domains, which is highly valuable in user-facing support evaluations.

Your structured approach to scoring using evaluation guidelines was impressive. You maintained a clear focus on rubric-driven assessment, consistently mapping criteria and documenting rationale for each decision, which reflects your commitment to fairness, consistency, and safety in evaluations.

You showed solid editorial judgment and a keen sense for prioritizing accuracy and user impact, especially when handling high-stakes content such as medical information. Your ability to provide specific, actionable feedback focusing on what’s wrong, why it’s wrong, and what to do next indicates a strong foundation for editorial decision-making.

Areas for Improvement

You could have explained more clearly how you would implement a consistent, scalable severity taxonomy or mechanisms to ensure evaluation consistency, such as calibration sets or inter-rater reliability. By offering specific examples or referencing more structured QA processes in your answers, your expertise in quality assurance would have come through even stronger.

You could have articulated your approach to structured scoring with more concrete examples, such as providing templates for note-taking or detailing how to score partial correctness. Adding these practical details in your explanations would have made your scoring methodology even more robust and easy to follow.

You could have emphasized aspects of microcopy craft—such as tone calibration, brevity, and user context—when discussing editorial judgment and UX sensibility. Brushing up on these finer points in your explanations would help you communicate an even stronger editorial and UX perspective.
