I've hit top 1% comment or post *22 times* in the last year, but apparently it has to be in the *same* community. I'm active in literally hundreds of communities and my interests are constantly fluctuating. It feels like I should have this already but I'm too scatterbrained to stay in one lane that long!
When I explain the history of American aquaculture to museum guests I always make a point of saying "Seth Green *no relation"* to get a chuckle. I recently realized that I don't actually know if this is true and I unfortunately don't think there's an ethical way to find out for sure unless I get a response from u/IamSethGreen

I saw something like this at a zoo event about 5 years ago. Multiple thin rods of slightly flexible lights stuck in the ground near ornamental grass. It looked really good and I want to try something similar this year. I just don't know how.

My senile grandfather chopped up a Niles Møller 62 for firewood several years ago.
I have tried to move past it, he didn't understand what he was doing, but I inherited a set of three chairs which is a bit awkward in my new home. I definitely can't afford an original replacement but is there somewhere I can buy a slightly mismatched replacement?

I'm reading Lud-in-the-mist and struck on the idea of making a resolution to read a book published 100 years ago every year.
I like speculative fiction, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, and whatever you call Jorge Luis Borges.
I can be convinced to read other genres if you have a good pitch for something else I should be reading. Honestly if there's anything you personally think is excellent from 100 years ago I want to hear about it.

By the power of fanfiction, DC comics Earth-49 Rose Porter Constantine is Kitty the ghost girl from Danny Phantom in my story When Sybil Calls. I feel so clever, like this one connection opened up so many layers of depth and meaningful character growth for both of them.

My site is government funded and doesn't charge any admission fees. We have an open exhibit space and offer periodic free tours to the public lasting approximately 30min, as staffing allows.
There's a commercial cruise ship company that regularly stops by and monopolizes the public tours. Our tour times are staffing dependent and subject to sudden cancellation but we try to accommodate them. The cruise operators get pushy when this happens.
Management is considering changing a per head fee for commercial tours. They would be scheduled in advance and we would be able to prioritize staffing them and separate them from the other public tours. The additional revenue would go to improve the aging exhibit space.
Because we have never charged for tours we have no idea what the per person fee should be.
Any recommendations?
I have a habit of saving websites to my home screen. Frequently visited sites, articles I want to reference, things I want to buy later etcetera.
