Tips on Conform & Delivery using Handles!!

Hey everyone I am currently conforming in resolve getting ready to help assist on a brand promo next week at a small facility for 3 days.

I wanted to ask some advice concerning handles as I am having a little imposter syndrome atm thinking I’ll mess something up on the day…

Been asking people within my network for advice/tips and it’s been super helpful so I thought to ask for more here 😊

Looking into second hand SSD’s

Looking to upgrade my home setup with a new SSD after being paid on my latest job. Been recommended to look into Sandisk, Samsung and even an nvme with an enclosure.

Wanted to hear people’s recommendations as I’ve got another project which is going to require a lot of speed. I mainly work with 4K RAW files 😊

Rn my budget is around £360 [not looking to spend it all] as I am looking at other such as a thunderbolt dock/panel.

I have an interview at a Post-House and want some advice (UK based)

It's a rather large company, and I really want to make an impact (obviously), anyone who's hired runners, or anyone who got the job as a runner, what advice do you have to make a positive impression 😊

Thinking of closing my application

I applied to study at Solent University for their Film/TV degree and honestly I feel as though a degree will be pointless now.

I work as part of an agency within the tv industry where I cover as a runner either on set or a post-house. Been going to a lot of industry events recently and asking for advice etc and most people who have been in the industry for over 20 years have all said a degree these days seem pointless especially with student debt being a huge problem.

Honestly really really stuck atm and wanted to see what other people thought….

If I do cancel my application would I make the correct decision?

Is this Chelsea 1997 home shirt legit?

I checked my older brothers shirt from the 90’s which didn’t fit me 😂 and the Umbro tag is exactly the same.

Just wanted a second opinion 😊

Micro vs Mini panel

Hey there!

I am a runner in a post-house who’s been building their own setup for home usage and I am nearly done after a few years of grinding however I’ve got a huge decision to make in ordering a panel.

I recently got a 2nd hand stream deck for around £62 on Vinted which was a decent steal imo and it’s actually helped improved my workflow on independent films/music videos.

What would you suggest in terms of both panels and why? As I am very very torn atm

Any suggestions or advice would be fantastic 😁🙏🏻

Turning 24 in July - want to start investing but don’t know where to start

Hey everyone,

I really want to start investing to help with my future but I’ve no idea where to begin.

I’ve read a few things online and watched a few YouTube videos by Mark Tilbury for extra info which has been super helpful and informative but I just want to learn more.

I’d appreciate advice on:

  1. Where to start learning more
  2. What’s the best investments for beginners
  3. How much to start with (I don’t have much money atm due to starting a new job)

Any other resources would be amazing to go over etc as I just want a more secure future to do things such as travelling around Europe (mainly for football) and even save up for a essentials 😊

Why is Arrow’s customer service so bad 😂

Been chatting to them about the killer disk 3 replacement and I literally wrote my name on the disk as “proof” they now said i need to add my address on it as well?

All very confusing tbh 😅

My friends literally said you just need your name on the faulty disk but maybe they’re wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Killer - Disk 3 needs replacing

Hey guys! I finally brought the Killer today and I know about the 3rd disk issue but unsure how to get a replacement as I brought mine via HMV.

Has anyone got their 3rd disk replacement yet?

Tonight’s watch!!!

Brought the last one at my HMV as we’ve got loads of Hard Boiled which just came in again 🔥

Considering this was a blind buy it was fantastic and that ending certainly made me laugh 😂😂

Buzzing to get Innerspace and Hard Boiled at the end of the month (annoying had to order online as my local HMV only had the Blu-ray versions sadly)

Hey guys I am new to this sub and wanted to ask for advice in relation to a thunderbolt dock!

I currently have a Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 2 monitors.

I recently purchased a stream deck and a black magic micro panel to help me with my job as an assistant colourist and realised I’ve used all my thunderbolt ports on my Mac 😂 so I need to purchase a thunderbolt dock so I have extra inputs for other things
