Replacement crank shaft/handle/arm for pool cover.
Hope this is "functional" enough for this sub!
Modelled and printed this and saved a few hundred on a new pool cover holder. Also saved the old one from the landfill!
Made a few design improvements in strength, handle grip, and the handle "print in place" will spin with very little play. Printed in translucent PETG.
The interior of the shaft ("test print" shown, unfortunately missed taking pictures of the full build) has additional structure to allow the screws to grip but printed in a way that it won't split apart the layers. Pilot holes drilled. This white part is printed in PLA, and three of them are in the shaft.
Also a replacement pool basket in PETG!
