SNCO Supplemental 👀
Not to take away from 26E6 but it just so happens to fall on the same week. Anyone going up for it this cycle or heard anything? My record still shows as inactivated but I my CSS told me I’m still going up for one of the upcoming supplementals.

Stabilizer bar bolt spinning
Installing coilovers on my GX90. To remove the bolt for the strut I had to remove the stabilizer(I think, or part of the sway bar?) bar bolt to move it out of the way. When putting it back in I put the nut on the other side but it just spins. When I was taking it apart I didn’t hear any weird sounds. Do I need to remove the round metal clip seen here and remove the rubber bolt?

Another coilover question
Slowly acquiring parts for my GX Mark II and I’m torn between two sets of coilovers that I can grab for a really good deal:
Used (like new) HKS Hipermax S for $1100
New (never used) Blitz Damper ZZ-R SpecDSC+ for $1200
I read in other posts that the Hipermaxs are good for cruising and are comfortable, but I can’t help but be attracted to the Blitz with the electronic damping control, and that they’re new. I don’t have a problem getting it wired up and I’ve already been kind of mapping out how it’d be done. If the electronic damper system fails then they just revert to manual coilovers again.
Obviously given that it’s a GX and it’s auto, I’m not doing anything other than cruising around and getting passed by other cars. I plan on keeping this car forever and will eventually throw a JZ in there at some point in time.

Bought a used and tested working XAV-AX4000. I bought everything I needed to wire it up, but it turns out it’s already wired up to the exact harness my car needs!
New harness I bought on the left compared to the already wired one on the right. All the wires match up!

Hello, I purchased a 30+ year old Japanese RHD car in Dubai and had it shipped to Abu Dhabi where I live as an expat. When I went to register the car I asked for classic plates but the guy gave me regular private plates. Am I okay to drive like this or do I need to go back and ask them to fix it? I would rather not pay again as well but if I have to of course that is fine.
