I understand the Drama Blu-Ray DVD contains a running commentary and a ‘unpacking the drama’ bts feature short video with interviews from the cast .

I know sometimes these things gets uploaded online especially the bts feature so I was wondering does anyone know where to watch it if you don’t buy the DVD?

I’ve watched the film a few times so I’m only really interested in the bts bits and I don’t really want to pay 35 dollars for it lol

Does anyone know were to find the Kinds of Kindness script screenplay / have access to it. I am really keen to read the script and the film has been out for a while so I was wondering if anyone has it or knows where to find it!

I’m also looking for the Seberg (2019) film screenplay .. I know there are some people online selling the script for 30 pounds but I don’t really want to pay to read it .

Handing out designer gear to the guests is really tacky... especially guests that can afford those items, in fact probably all the the gifts combined most guests can afford, WAG's winning Cartier and channel watches and bags irks me out....

Were the raffle tickets not for charity doesn't look like it, it mentioning you have to play games to win the tickets .. I assumed guests would pay for the raffle tickets and that money would go to charity etc that's usually how a raffle works .. billionaires and millionaires winning designer gear for free, not classy and tasteless behaviour.

This is exactly what I suspected , security is already running thin during this period and the wedding being around the same time literally puts pressure on law enforcement during a time when the NYPD may be struggling to cope.

Kenneth Corey, the former chief of department at the N.Y.P.D., said that hundreds of police officers would likely be needed to keep crowds safe outside the arena, in addition to the private security team Ms. Swift has hired.

“There is nothing comparable to her level of stardom and her fan base — you’re on the level of Elvis, Michael Jackson or the Beatles in their heyday,” he said. “I was at the N.Y.P.D. for almost 35 years, and there was no wedding near this scale.”

The police will need to set up concrete barriers similar to ones erected during the N.B.A. national championship games to keep fans safe from any terrorist threats, including ramming vehicles, Mr. Corey said.

“Because of who she is and who he is, that is a very attractive terrorist target,” he said.

Grace Rauh, the executive director of Citizens Union, a government watchdog group, said that the festivities were positive for the city and its image and an appropriate use of resources.

I’m writing this on this Sub as it’s is likely not to be biased and more neutral and people on this sub are more likely to know how Oscar voting works etc.

Now The Toy Story premiere happened last night we know and it got very excellent reviews , the Hollywood reporter noted that academy voters praised Taylor’s song. Regarding Oscar chances I think Taylor will likely get a nominee but I’m not sure about a win - I’m curious on anyone else’s thoughts about whether Taylor will get a nominee / win or if anyone has any other ideas of songs that could potentially get nominated for best original song ?

I mean this is one of the first original songs that academy voters have heard , as it’s 6 months until voting a lot of films haven’t released their original song - The Hunger Games , Adele’s song for the Tom Ford song etc so she does have good competition if she gets a nomination .

Travis attended Tour and made a friendship bracelet to give to Taylor Swift, but never got a chance to give it to her due to tight security. Taylor later mentioned in TIME magazine that “she got the message,” and that the two “started hanging out right after that.”

Andrea mentioned in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour documentary that she had the number of a guy who Taylor should meet ( Travis ) . Taylor clearly had her reservations about meeting him already commenting on what they would even talk about, but they met anyway.

I’m thinking Andrea may have found out about the bracelet story and asked for Travis’ number to give to Taylor.

If this is the case, it’s kind of creepy if you ask me, however big the celebrity. Taylor and Travis hardly knew each other, and I seriously doubt Taylor even knew who Travis was at the time.

Making a bracelet with his number on it and trying to give it to Taylor is so so desperate in my opinion, because the bracelet literally had his number on it, basically screaming “I want to be in a relationship with you.”

Not to mention Travis went to the concert June 2023 barely two months after breaking up with Joe and one month after Matty , Travis walking in with a bracelet at that date made it look like he was waiting for those relationships to end to pursue her .

I’m surprised Andrea even got in touch with Travis, because if you found out that a celebrity who barely knows your daughter tried to give her a bracelet with his number on it, your first thought would probably be: what does this guy actually want from the relationship? Travis had never even met Taylor before either. It’s not as if they met, flirted, and then exchanged numbers like this afterwards,

I truly believe Taylor only said yes because of pressure from Andrea. He’s not her type she basically admitted this , and she probably didn’t even want to meet him. I know Taylor personality changes based on her boyfriend but it’s more evident with Travis - her previous boyfriends have always been the artsy type so it was way easier for her to lean into this aesthetic but with Travis cause he’s a footballer everything is coming across unnatural and tacky.

Andrea saying “you’ve got to do something different” also stood out to me —— The healthier thing to say would’ve been: “Taylor, you’ve been through a lot of breakups, why don’t you give dating a break for a while so you can figure out what kind of person you really want to be with?” But instead, she was pushed straight into dating another man. The something different should have been to take a break from dating for a bit.

It’s also interesting that Taylor potentially hid the fact that the relationship was basically arranged, because her phrasing of “we got in touch” makes it sound like she personally reached out herself and didn’t have reservations about meeting him.

Also note Travis was not in the VIP section so he had no connection to Taylor at all - yes he may be a celeb but he still was a stranger to her .

It’s not like Joe who Gigi actually recommend by knowing Joe and his personality and what he’s like . I’m convinced Gigi would have never recommended Travis as Gigi is a good friend and would know they arn’t comparable , Taylor admits it herself .

Edit : now reading everyone’s comments ( the Scott swift connection which I didn’t known about until people commented ) so another way they could have met is through Scott. This makes me think their origin story is so forced.

Scott Swift knows the chiefs coach and has been friends with him for a while. Scott 100 percent was aware of Travis. ( Taylor defo not )

Once Matty broke up with Taylor , Taylor’s parents clearly wanted to meddle in her relationship life . Scott always wanted Taylor to date an athlete to bring Taylor’s fantasies of a singer dating a guy on a football team into real life . He likely looked at the single chiefs players and lo and behold Travis who was trying to get with multiple singers came into the picture .

Travis barely knew anything about Taylor’s songs and there are videos of him at the concert looking bored AF . I truly don’t believe Travis went by choice to the Eras Tour but Scott told him to suggesting him to make a bracelet with his phone number on. It’s far cuter than having Scott just introduce them , and the fact that the show was Arrowhead stadium was the cherry on top as Travis plays him games there so makes their origin story so much better and more ‘ invisible string like ‘ , it’s so on the nose.

I believe Scott’s plans of Travis giving Taylor the bracelet failed , they made out Taylor was not told about this meeting and was not told at the concert , when I think Taylor was well aware but truly ghosted him . If Scott orchestrated their bracelet meet then it’s very likely security would know that Travis wanted to meet Taylor after the show especially as it comes from Scott . And tbh I don’t even think Taylor knew who Travis was , she is not into football as she mentioned , they don’t run in the same circles either , he wasn’t even a VIP guest

This plan clearly didn’t go the way they wanted as Travis mentioned something about how security wouldn’t take it . Why wouldn’t security take it if it was orchestrated by Scott , the only reason why is Taylor did not feel comfortable taking it and security would likely listen to Taylor’s decision regardless of what Scott said.

Travis mentioned this on the podcast which was kind of irrelevant.

Scott knows Taylor is more likely to listen to Andrea ( miss Americana doc shows this ) and clearly Andrea loves Travis too , so Andrea told Taylor to meet a guy ( Travis ) . Taylor showing her reservations further indicates she was never interested in meeting him .

The only thing that contradicts this Theory is why was he not in the VIP section if Scott orchestrated this ? Maybe fir it to seem more natural and less forced,

There are also rumours that Travis went with Patrick as if had a extra ticket and apparently he wasn’t sure of going , so why would he make a bracelet for her if he didn’t want to attend in the first place.

I think it’s evident that Most of Taylor’s friends are cut from the same cloth.

During the Blake Justin legal drama Blake made some of their co stars and the author of the book Colleen unfollow Justin which fuelled rumours that he had done something wrong - the harassment claims which was later proven false and dismissed by the judge .

Based on Taylor’s involvement at the start of the drama I wonder if Taylor suggested this or Blake decided this upon herself

This shows how similar they are as this was the case for the ‘ great unfollowing of Joe ‘. Taylor made her close friends unfollow Joe to give the perception he had done something nasty ie cheat when if fact this was debunked by Joe himself when he specified he had a long loving and fully committed relationship . When the mass unfollowing happened . I knew Joe would have never cheated and this was likely a calculated PR move - if the reasoning for this was the Emma pic released , then that is assuming a hell of a lot from one pic for them to unfollow

I saw the pic just as co stars hanging out which is fairly normal and men are allowed to hang out with women they are not romantically involved in ! , sure the caption Emma posted was messy clarifying the pic was taken in March but that’s not joes fault , Joe seems to be the person to get along and be happy with everyone and Taylor is insecure of him around women when in fact nothing romantic is going on!

Something tells me that Taylor’s friends were the ones sewing seeds that the relationship was going nowhere ( they could have done so out of jealously as they seemed to have a pretty strong relationship ) , After Covid Taylor started meeting up with them more and they probably discussed the relationship and whether Joe is gonna propose soon etc like normal girl chat.

It’s no surprise that Taylor is friends with the Haim sisters too , who created a whole album about relationships lol and ticktocks exposing their messy breakups so of course they would be involved in the unfollowing and think it’s acceptable to hate on a ex in a album . Alana mentioned in an interview that she likes to know what her exes are doing and chatting to friends about it so I’m not surprised if Taylor was talking to them about the breakup ..

I think Taylor may have had some insecurities about Joe being close with female co-stars and women in his inner circle.

Joe always seemed to stay on good terms with his exes, he was following some of them on Instagram. Around 2020, he apparently unfollowed them, possibly after attending a Zoom reunion with university friends where an ex was present. Some people speculate Taylor may have encouraged the unfollowing, since he never appeared to refollow them afterward.

When Joe filmed Conversations with Friends, Alison Oliver mentioned Taylor was on set a lot. Given the intimate nature of the show, it’s possible Taylor felt uncomfortable with Joe and Alison spending so much time together.

The same thing may have happened during Stars at Noon in 2021. While Joe and Margaret Qualley were filming, Taylor and Jack Antonoff were in the studio together writing midnights . Fans commented on Joe and Margaret’s chemistry at Cannes, and Margaret’s comment about “smelling like Joe” and the Cannes pictures made some people think she had a crush on him. Jack clearly had an issue with Joe hence releasing the song date and I’m guessing this is to do with the fact that Margaret seemed to maybe have more chemistry with Joe and perhaps was jealous of this.

Now before Joe announced the breakup was around march 31 / April 1st everyone thought they broke up mid march beginning of March. Emma Laird posted a pic of Joe smiling on a scooter after the breakup around mid April with the caption moments in March - the great unfollowing happened soon after this Taylor prob saw this pic of Joe and assumed he was cheated and perhaps ended it . She wouldn’t have cared if this was mid April as they were already broken up by the pic was tagged march. Joe seems friendly with all his female co stars and I think Taylor was insecure of this , thinking there was something romantic going on

The original article that announced they broke up was more cordial however something clearly happened around April 19th for the great unfollowing etc - I don’t think Joe cheated he’s not the type to and Taylor wouldn’t let him get away with that in the slim chance he did so not sure what went down .

I know the breakup happened a while ago, but I’m still confused about the timeline and reasoning behind it.

A lot of people say Joe had already checked out long before the breakup, but I’m not fully convinced. There were reports that Taylor and Joe were looking at buying a house together — that’s a huge commitment ( not sure if these reports are true though ) Why would they be doing that if the relationship was already basically over?

Tree also reportedly put out statements around Easter saying they were happy, in love, and planning to spend time together. Again, why say that if Joe had mentally left the relationship already?

I’ve also seen people looking back at old pap photos from late 2022 saying Joe looked miserable, but honestly he’s always seemed uncomfortable with paparazzi and attention in general.

The breakup timeline itself is confusing too. When the news first came out, it sounded like they had broken up a few weeks earlier (so sometime in March), but Joe later implied it was only about a week before the news broke, which would put it in early April. Part of me wonders if the timeline was blurred because of the Matty situation.

The breakup honestly seemed quite sudden to me. I don’t think Joe cheated at all — he was filming The Brutalist around late March/early April, and he honestly doesn’t come across as the type. I’m surprised some Swifties push that narrative, especially considering Taylor moved on with Matty afterwards — someone she had known for years, spent time with before, including earlier in January, and had already been romantically linked to in the past. Because of that, I do wonder whether there may have been some emotional overlap on Taylor’s side before the relationship officially ended ( we know Taylor cheated on Tom with Joe ) Joe mentioned in The Sunday times review long loving and committed relationship maybe he was referring to his side only ?

I also sometimes wonder whether the whole “great unfollowing” after those celebrity dinners was partly a way to shift public attention away from the Matty situation. Having Taylor’s friends unfollow Joe immediately made him look like the bad guy in the public narrative, while also distracting from questions about whether Taylor and Matty were already romantically involved around that time. The timing has always felt a little calculated to me.

I do sometimes wonder who Taylor would’ve ended up dating if the Matty situation had never happened. Andrea once mentioned telling Taylor she needed to “do something different,” which makes me think she may have felt Taylor was spiralling a bit post-breakup. Ending a long-term relationship sometimes happens and not abnormal , but jumping so quickly into such an intense, short-lived situation with Matty probably felt impulsive to the people around her. Part of me feels that if Matty had never happened, the Travis relationship may never have come about either.

I’d also like to add I’m so confused about Tree’s statement from ET that Taylor and Joe try to be respective to one another about a year after the breakup - we know this is the case one way ie Joe being respectful to Taylor but Taylor I don’t think has been - I mean indirectly feeding fans info that potentially could be about Joe causing hate towards him and not speaking up about this - Ariana did when her fans did the same to dalton .
